Upon arriving everyone was very friendly. I don't recall the man's name but he escorts folks to their sites, he immediately noticed our rig (a class A) might have issues getting up the hill to our assigned site. He made adjustment and got us into another site, a back in which backed up to endless woods. The grounds are very wooded and quiet. Everyone we came across were friendly. This was our first camp trip with our new rig and we will definitely be back. The caverns tour guide was informative and friendly. We really had a good time, it's close to us (less than two hours) and may become our go to spot, we loved it! We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a drive through graveled lot. There are no OTA stations, and wi-fi is marginal. The campground is hilly and scenic. The city of New Market, Timberville and Harrisonburg are all nearby. A lot of civil war history in New Market and area. The staff was friendly and helpful in anything you needed help with. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

All sites are full hook ups and you get escorted to your site by friendly staff. The sites are level and long - ours was over 100'. All sites are really wide too, so no issues with slide outs or canopies. Plenty of greenery to block out any neighbors. There is a cave tour onsite (highly recommend) and plenty of long beautiful hiking trails. We will return. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Roads are very steep and rutted. But, very accessible to site. Host will take you to site. Sites do not have cable and wi fi is not accessible from most sites. Signal is available near pool. Sites are large and very easy for access. Sites are very wooded with fire ring and table. Employees are very helpful and responsive. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is 6 miles from I-81. Once you turn on Endless Caverns Rd. It's what seems like a long drive thru farms and residential areas. The campground is at the very end of the road. It is a Peaceful, wooded, secluded setting. Sites are long and wide, carved out of some hilly terrain, but fairly level. All roads are gravel and dusty. This might be a problem when the place is busy and there is lots of traffic. This is a LARGE property with 3 sections of the campground. We were glad to have an escort to our site, because the roads are not labeled. There are 2 bath houses, and I am glad we were self-contained. The women's bathhouse in Section C left a lot to be desired. There was only one shower (of 2) that had a curtain. There was an air unit (heat?) in the wall, but the place was hot and had little ventilation. It looked clean, but not inviting. There is a very pretty catch and release pond with seating around it, volleyball court, huge rec room with a projection screen for movies, a game room, nice wading type pool (maximum depth was 4') and lots of roads and trails to explore on foot, bike or 4-wheeler. If you are interested in touring the cavern, you can do that from the registration building at various times for $15./adults and $7. For kids. We were only here overnight, but it would be a nice place for a family to spend some time away from it all. Keep in mind that this IS a remote location. The Park WiFi is spotty, there is NO TV reception, but my Verizon jet pack had a good signal. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

In the Shenandoah Valley about 4 miles south of the little town of New Market, Endless Caverns RV Resort, is affiliated with the Endless Caverns cave system. The RV park is large and carved up the side of a steep mountain. Interior gravel roads are at a 6% grade. But somehow, they constructed large, level pull thru sites that are terraced up the slope. Lots of room in-between, and staggered so that, even with rigs in adjacent sites, it seems like you can still see and have privacy. Utilities were fine, although wifi is broadcast from a single hotspot at the bottom of the hill and weakens significantly with distance. We ended up hotspotting our ATT signal for internet and email. Lots of trees and shade, although our site was fine for satellite. The resort has a large rec center, with game room and movie screen attached to a beautiful clean pool with a fountain. Trout pond on site has a walking/jogging track around it. Two clean Bathhouses and a nice laundry on site. The resort map shows a 2.5 mile perimeter trail that leads up to the giant ENDLESS CAVERNS sign which is visible from space. The trail is a butt-kicker. Straight up the mountain, gaining 700 feet at a 20+ grade. Nice view from up there, but certainly not for all. Overall a great place with the best scenery! Staff all friendly and helpful. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Virginia Civil War Museum is near, with extensive firearms and artifact collections. Walking tour follows the path of the VMI cadets who were called upon to fight. Town of New Market is cute and historic. The only Mexican joint in the area, Jalisco, was pretty good with one of the better Al Pastors we've seen lately. Groceries were 20 minutes away in Mt Jackson or Luray. Shenandoah National Park is a day trip and the Skyline Drive must-do. Beautiful area of Virginia.

With over 20 years of rving around the country, I rate this park in the top 5 I've had the pleasure of visiting. Excellently planned, built and maintained. Wide spaces well away from the neighbors, lots to do around the park, great cave tours, and super friendly, helpful staff. Stayed 2 nights but will be back for a week or more next time! The park is beautiful, terraced sites with rock landscaping, clean and well kept. I do not understand the review that they had about tipping over, perhaps they were drinking. We were escorted to our site, offered help, gave suggestions of things to do. We loved it here. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a unique place and the caverns were really cool to see... However, the description mislead us. I REALLY wish more people would understand what the word 'Resort' means and what 'Big Rig Friendly' means. This is certainly NOT a resort, it is merely an average CAMPGROUND. We had rain for a couple of days while there and since all the roads are gravel and given their grade/elevation, they had to be graded due to erosion. Watch out for the tractor grading, that guy FLYS!!! We have young kids and were very concerned that he wouldn't see them...he really goes fast in tight, populated areas with the tractor while grading and had to do it often which was a bit unnerving. At check in, the office is in an awkward spot for large rigs and you feel as if you'll tip...I mentioned my concern about the hill and was told "people do it all the time". I often drive in the mountains, but I've never had our 45' long 13' 6"tall coach (and tow vehicle) at exactly that sideways slanted angle before which wasn't exactly fun...but we did it. We followed our escort up the long gravel climb, pulled into our heavily wooded site and I asked if they knew if satellite worked and was told "don't know and we don't have cable". Well, the 'resort' aspect had pretty much left us by this time so this wasn't a surprise. lol Anyway... Like I said, this is basically an average campground and the caverns are REALLY cool to check out. We cut our stay short and left three days early as we felt that we'd seen enough of what this campground had to offer. Did it, done it, got the t-shirt...as they say. Check it out and judge for yourself. This really wasn't meant to down the place...just wanted to point out some things and share our experience in the hopes that others didn't have false 'Resort and Big Rig Friendly' expectations like we did from the name. Enjoy, safe travels and have fun! :) We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Conveniently located about 4 miles off I-81. The park was mostly empty when we arrived (Thursday) but saw a steady flow of incoming campers Friday afternoon. The roads and sites are all gravel and tiered. Our site was fairly level, back-in and was close to the bathhouse and rec center. It's also on the main drag in which all incoming and outgoing vehicles must pass. All sites have full hook-ups, fire ring and picnic table. Plenty of room on our site for tow vehicle. There are some trees between sites to offer privacy. This park uses large rocks and boulders for fire rings and site borders. This is unique and eye appealing. We toured the bathhouse and it appeared to be very well kept and clean. Laundry was also inside the bathhouse, 3 sets of washers & dryers, $1.50 per load. The outdoor pool is not heated but the area was also very clean and well maintained. We did not use the bathhouse or pool during our stay. No firewood to be brought in; all must be purchased onsite at $6.00 per bundle. (Firewood purchase after hours on the honor system). The park offers an escort to your site if needed, we saw many campers use this. Due to the incline throughout the park, consider un-hitching your tow vehicle in the check-in area. We found this campground to have friendly staff and offered a beautiful setting. Passport America and Good Sam discounts honored. Pros: Free wifi, generous size site, quiet natural setting, very good AT&T reception, a fair number of digital channels available with standard antenna, security gate closed at night. Sites are easy in/out for rigs, back-in and pull-through sites available. Cons: Clouds of dust kicked up from the gravel road as new incoming campers arrive. We did observe a camp vehicle watering down the road. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns resort is a mixed bag. The RV sites themselves are wonderful -- all gravel, stone fire rings, nice landscaping that provides some separation between the admittedly close sites. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort doesn't quite measure up. The bathrooms are few, far, and could be tended to a bit better. The roads are also gravel, on the side of a mountain, and wash out with a rain -- which they repair with a tractor after each. The pool is decent, but overall the amenities are not impressive for a "resort". If you have a big rig, and you're completely self-sufficient, it's a fine place to stop. If you rely on the facilities, there might be better options. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very unusual campground and rating it is difficult. Everyone is escorted to their site. The place was almost empty when we got there and we were placed very far away from others. Usually that is fine, but the sites are so large and terraced that no one just goes for a walk. We were not there with friends so it was isolating. The wi fi hot spot at the laundry was weak if at all, undependable. Antenna TV got us 7 stations. The pool looked well cared for but yet there were cobwebs in some of the other public areas. At night there were no lights and we never saw security. It was quiet and we rarely saw anyone walking around. Knowing what we know we would go back IF in the area, but ask for a more central spot. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Went to the DeMello Vineyard for wine tasting, Miller's Grill atthe golf course for a tasty lunch, the Civil War Museum, and the Shenandoah Skyline Drive. The Luray caverns are very good. The campground does have a little store. And there is an interesting ice cream stand on Rte. 11.

This is a very nice campground in the woods on the side of a mountain and over top of a very nice cave that you can visit. Given the fact that it is on the side of a hill, the gravel roads to the campsites are steep, however, great effort has been made to make the sites level. The campsites are very long. They are Full Hookups. We were guided to our site by a very helpful fellow. Camping gives you a discount to the cavern tour, which is very enjoyable and quite lovely. There are nice trails to hike. We didn't expect this campground to be this nice, and will return to camp here again. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

The main parking lot for check-in was dangerously inclined for RVs -- when leaving check-in to follow the guide to our side at one point we felt like we were about to tip over. Check-in was fine and the staff friendly. However, the "pull-through" site we were assigned had a short steep incline off the pull-out side that would have bottomed out our rig. We ended up having to pull-in and back-out when we left. Despite what others have reported, we didn't think the sites were particularly level. We took a tour of the caverns which was a highlight of our entire trip and highly recommended. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.
