We stayed here during our pack and load out, since it was the closest park to our home. It was clean and well-cared for. Some of the sites, including ours, were too close for privacy. In addition, water is shared between two sites, necessitating the one on the right (us) having to run 50' of water hose under the unit to a pedestal almost under the awning. Finally, some of the full time and seasonal residents have let their units deteriorate or have surrounded them with tarps, tents, etc. This is always a detractor for us. We would stay here again if we had to be in the area, but likely not for vacation. We camped at Little Creek MWR RV Park (Military Camping Only) in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here several times, and it was always a nice stay. This time it was better! The grounds were better maintained, and the overall appearance of the campground was much improved! The new manager was becoming very involved in operating the campground rather than just being there! We will definitely be back! A great FamCamp just a few miles from either Virginia Beach or Historic Williamsburg. Campground hosts were very cordial, pleasant and knowledgeable, though I did have trouble getting them to return my call when trying to change reservations. The campground is well kept and in great repair. The base has all the usual amenities and is small enough you don't have to travel miles and miles to get to them. The Naval Air Stations and Norfolk Airport are far enough away you don't hear much jet noise, though there is some. There is some road noise in the sites up near the office but it isn't too bothersome. Wireless Internet is available for $7.95/night or $14.95/week or even better per month. Verizon works well and the cable TV has over 60 channels. Satellite access is available from most sites even though there are many trees in the campground. I would definitely stay here again. This campground is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It is a military campground so one needs to have some sort of affiliation. Security rates very high because it sits inside the base. I recall seeing the base police patrol even thought there was no need for them to do so. The site we had was very level and contained a concrete pad. The other sites appeared to be very level too. They all contained a concrete pad too. There was ample space between sites. The playground equipment was in good shape and fit the size of the campground. The bathhouse was in very good repair and was cleaned at least twice a day. The equipment was in good working order. The camp host was pleasant and they enforced the camp rules without being over bearing. The overall soundings were pleasant and peaceful. The campground contained plenty of trees and a good nature walk was right next door. Overall the entire base was laid out in a manner that helped one enjoy the campground. Nice, well maintained and even though it is small it doesn't feel cramped. We could not get the cable to work and could not find the modem connection. The restrooms and showers were excellent, well maintained and very clean. We camped at Little Creek MWR RV Park (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.
This is a military campground and you cannot stay unless you are affiliated with the military. This is a nice campground. It is small and can seem crowed with everyone's vehicles at their sites. Roads are paved and pads are concrete. Lots of room to manuver into yoru site. Facilities are clean and campground hosts work hard to make your stay pleasant. Close to Virginia beach oceanfront. We camped at Little Creek MWR RV Park (Military Camping Only) in a Fifth Wheel.
