We stopped here on the way home from SC and thought we could use the pool while and rest up before traveling the last leg of our journey. The pool water was green and no one was using it. The bathrooms, while clean, had very little water pressure, the knob for the water in the shower was hard to turn on and backwards. There was dog poop on the ground from not being cleaned up either by the employees or previous campers. the store, while large, was full of beer brewing products and not much in the way of camping supplies. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.

High priced for what they offer. Electric is separate charge as well as Wi-Fi. It is an older campsite that could use some upgrading. I had a problem with the water having rust in it. Management can be quick tempered and difficult to deal with. They make you pay extra for a simple credit card transaction. I-95 is close by so it is noisy. I would not stay here again and only recommend it if there is no other place to stay. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Wi-Fi worked only about 30% of the time and the sign on process is the most complicated, frustrating process that you can imagine. Site is on/in the hills, but most sites are fairly level. This is a large area with wooded sites and open sites. There is some traffic noise. It is close to the US Marine Museum. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

I had planned to stay at the Prince William Travel Trailer Village nearby but my sister wanted WiFi in the unit to transact some business matters. Since this campground advertized availability of WiFi we called and they assured us we would get it in our unit on our site. Fees about twice as much. As soon as we were parked in the site we tried. No Go on 3 different units. Even with directional antennae. We were courteously escorted to a different site nearby the office. No Better!! When we presented our case to the owner, he discourteously pointed out that others farther away could get connected. So therefore it could not be his system. With my directional antenna I can pick up the weakest signals. Anyway, he did not like criticism of his system so we were told to leave the campground. We went to the Prince William campground and found nicer accommodations and friendly staff at little more than half the cost. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

This is definitely an older park with sites meant for popups and tents on the wooded side. We couldn't open our awning and had to squeeze between trees to fit. The open side of the campground had mostly bigger rigs but even some of those barely fit on their site. We used it as an overnight stop and would choose a Wal-Mart next time. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.
