Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $18.00
Nice setting, has RV/tent/standard cabin/deluxe cabin/caboose sites. Owner was very friendly and would drive by numerous times to make sure that everything was OK. Overall, I liked this campground and will probably return again someday. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Motorhome.
We spent several days in this park, which has great proximity to the Skyline Drive. Our pull-thru site was very large and pretty level. No WiFi here except at the office. Showers are odd pull-chain operations. Two sites across from us had 8 adults and 9 children. Very noisy. Lots of shade here which was good because the weather was warm. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $35.00
We chose this park to visit the Apple Festival at Graves Mountain. It is not fancy, but it is the kind of campground we enjoy. The staff was especially helpful by loaning us a battery charger when out converter in the fifth wheel went south. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $40.00
This is a very quiet campground off the road. No noise and no lights at night. Owner is very friendly. Campsites are fairly level and there are pull through for bigger rigs, plenty of space between sites, there are also cabins and cabooses that can be rented. Owner frequently drives through campground and checks on things. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $19.00
Passport America rate. Roads are very hilly and bumpy, but sites have good services. Showers are on outer edge of RV park; a long walk up and down several hills. Wouldn't seek this park out, but would stay in a pinch. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Truck Camper.
This is Basic camping. They have a pool that seems to be the main attraction. WiFi was available only by office. Batwing provided a few channels, so you can at least get weather info. Shaded and quiet. Rate reflects AAA discount. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.
We camped here because it was very close to our house and we could not find anything else available for the 4 nights we wanted to camp on short notice. This campground was nice but could use some TLC. It is ran by only 1 man! Probably one of the nicest people I have ever met! My kids fell in love with him! The playground equipment needs to be fixed or replaced because some of it is not safe. The pool was very nice except for some uneven cement around the pool that caused my daughter to get hurt within minutes of being in the pool area. They had one of the longest hayrides I have ever been on that the kids loved! The sites were very nice and shaded. Lots of trees! We will definitely return again! We camped at Heavenly Acres Campground in a Tent Trailer.
