Loved the spacious sites with many trees. Able to put up 5 dog fences to have our chairs, for pit and table inside it. Clean pool and laundry room. Pleasant staff. Centrally located to see historical sites. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Waynesboro North 340 for 5 nights. 3 of those nights it was only 2 adults and the other 3 there were two additional family kids with us. The site rental only includes 2 people. Anything more and it's an additional 2 dollars per person per night. They do not offer any form of discount (AAA, Good Sam, Etc.) The camp was clean, the bathrooms were quite dated but clean. The original site we were given was very small but they did let us move to a larger site. My primary opinion of this campground was that it's people were not overly friendly. The pool was so cloudy the entire time we were there that we only used it once and did not go back. When we were on the shallow end, an endless supply of large white flakes were swirling around in the water. I would camp here again if I couldn't find another place to camp. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Motorhome.

Good for an overnight stay. Lot of seasonal campers . Sites are gravel and not level. No cable and limited over the air stations. Bathrooms and showers appear clean although we did not use. Wi-Fi comes and goes based on amount of people using. Lot of golf carts cruising at night. Some sites have new electric hook-ups but other don't. Plugged in to our 30 amp service and kept losing power due to spikes. Ended up hooking to 50 amps. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is worth the drive into Waynesboro to stay - best campground in the area. There are ample pull-throughs for a nightly stay or longer, if needed. They are expanding as well. The rate reflected is monthly. There are plenty of trees here, so if you have satellite, plan accordingly when discussing your stay. If you do stay, note there are permanent residents here and those who come for the season. I don't recommend staying in the Pine, Oak, etc. Streets in the very back. The hot spot was usable but there are data restrictions for streaming, and of course, the more folks using it, the decreased performance is there. If you stay near the dumpsters, note they pick up very early Sunday morning like 3a. The folks working here could not be nicer or more professional. The spacing is satisfactory, and I like a lot of room between sites. They have a seasonal pool, swing set, horseshoes, and basketball court all in good condition. You can easily walk the property to get in your "steps." The restrooms are clean. You can receive mail here. The only downside to this campground is the power. Come with a surge suppressor. This was not an issue until early Spring. (we were here for a few months) They worked with us to address, so don't pass this place by based upon my review. Just know it is an intermittent issue. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel sites but mainly level. Many seasonals who keep their sites very nice but some permanents do not. Three dumpsters which after awhile are over-flowing. Some activities. This is an old-style homey campground. Staff was very nice and friendly. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall a good campground. The sites could use some TLC but it appears the owners are taking care of things. The bathhouse was being repainted inside and the grass was trimmed. The sites are in need of some updating. Some leveling and new gravel would help. Some sites have the water and electric on the wrong side as ours did. The sewer was located on the correct side. There is no cable but we could get TV over the air. Satellite may be a problem as there are many trees. The shade was nice as the temperature was in the low 90's. There are many long term residents but they seem to keep their sites neat. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Motorhome.

From I-81 we got off at exit 227 and took route 612 to route 340 then right to the campground. This way we avoided going through Waynesboro.

This campground is mostly occupied by permanent and seasonal campers. Roads are paved but campsites are gravel. Sites are adequate and did require a little leveling. Noise is a big favor here. As others have noted there is a lot of road noise from 340; there is a rail line close; and Eastside Speedway is very close. While we were here there was a lot of target shooting in the back of the campground where the permanent sites are located. And the trash was picked up at 4:49 AM...not one but three Dumpsters! As far as staff is concerned, I can't attest to their status since I only saw one person at check-in during our 4 night stay. They have a nice size field for the kids to play; swings; pool; basketball court and horseshoes. Parents: watch children as speed of vehicles is a favor here. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this campground while we were visiting family in the area. They we very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were excellent. We will stay here again whenever we are in the area. There are lots of people who work in the area and stay here but they still had lots of sites for those just passing through. Upon arrival, clerk couldn't find my name or when I called. Given a site someone was still on, 2-1/2 hours past checkout. Was not escorted to site. Given unclear directions so I took a wrong turn. Finally set up on site. Two nights was subjected to someone trying to sing. I complained and was ignored. Interior roads rough, narrow and limbs hanging dragging on camper roofs. Traffic starts at 6 AM on the weekends. Needless I will not be back. Campground has many extended stays so the rest doesn't matter. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV site itself was very nice; large pull thru with a lot of shade. The grounds were nice but we did not like the fact that they mowed & trimmed at guest sites (permanent sites that would be fine), did not like the grass, rock, etc being thrown from the mower and trimmer. Also, don't plan on sleeping in on Tuesday mornings, the trash man showed up at 5 am. Lastly, as a guest using the laundry was basically impossible; you could choose between site seeing or washing clothes because the laundry hours were 7 am to 4 pm. My rating would be higher if not for these issues. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly staff. Good level sites with hookups easy to get to. Paved roads with gravel sites with concrete patio pads. Lots of shade. Restrooms were very, very clean. Quiet campground that gets a little crowded on holiday weekends but still all in all a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. Nice campground with lots of amenities. Gravel pads with plenty of shade. Some sites would be tight to get in and out of with a big rig. Lots of seasonal campers but they keep plenty of spots open for transients. 7 miles off the I-64 and good for a night or two on the road. WiFi worked well, but we were near the office. Satellite TV would be iffy in a lot of the sites due to the trees. If the rate were lower, we would stay here again for an overnight. Rate shown is with tax. We stayed in this campground while passing through based upon other reviews. Came in a little late and left early so we were unable to see entire park. We were pleased with how beautiful and quiet this park was. Still a little early so pool was not open yet. Didn't try the Wi-Fi but did check the restroom and shower facilities. This is an older park that has been lovingly maintained. Host was very nice and helpful. Sites were very spacious and we didn't have to do any leveling. Will definitely come back if anywhere nearby. I really, really wanted to rate this campground higher because the staff was so friendly and accommodating and the bathrooms/showers were so spotlessly clean. But the reality is that it is crowded, noisy, and occupied primarily by seasonal and/or year-round units, many of which are well past their prime. The road noise from Rte 340 was very noticeable, especially in the front of the park. There were nearby trains all night long blowing noisy horns, and on Friday nights you get the special treat of the race cars blasting their engines at the speedway down the road. There is nowhere to walk the dog other than on the roads around the park, which is OK I suppose. The seasonal campers were quite friendly, but some trails through the unused wooded areas would be nice. On the positive side, it is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park, so there are hiking opportunities there if you're willing to drive a bit. The sites were poorly graveled but reasonably level. Barely adequate for an overnight stay, but bring your earplugs. We camped at Waynesboro North 340 Campground in a Tent Trailer.
