The sites are very small and are difficult to back into when there are vehicles parked on the roads. The washrooms and showers are very clean. Laundry room was good (reasonable prices). Great location with walking/biking trail right through the resort. Would camp here again! We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tight for big rig. We stayed in East section, West section may have better spacing. Sites very close together had to have neighbor move his picnic table so we could put out our slide. Had to place our table in front of motorhome since no room between sites. Campground on water when tide is in, but view of refinery. Nice walking/biking trail runs through park. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Right on the water, an older park with two sections. We stayed in the east section which is the older section. Sites on the water are longer pull ins. Views of the bay and waterfront, some industrial. Sites are narrow and separated by dead grass. Our site was listed as a 38 ft back in. Our rig is 31ft, nose to tail and it still sat about a foot into the street. No way to put it further back in the site without hitting the rig behind. So, no room for the car, so it must be parked in a parking lot. That causes lots of car traffic back and forth between sites. There is not always room between sites for a table, sometimes it's behind and between rigs. Road you must take to get into the park is poorly maintained and no directional signage is displayed. Park sign is only at the entrance to the park. Trail into town is a nice feature. WiFi is good, Verizon cellular is ok, satellite reception is good. Office staff is great. We would only stay here again if we were able to book a waterfront site. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

This place is in a great location and has a walking/biking path that leads to the town of Anacortes. Our site was pull in and facing the bay. Beachfront was all rocks and pebbles. Space between our neighbors was approximately 6 steps, but there was space in front of our coach to have chairs and enjoy the view. No firepits but above ground firepits are allowed, so bring your own. Picnic table, grass, and a great playground for kids. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Anacortes is a great town and very close, with a famer's market every Saturday and a marina to enjoy. Go see Deception Pass! San Juan Ferry is also close, with service to various islands. Take the ferry to Friday Harbor and explore San Juan Island!

This is our second stay here, and it is just fine. We had a nice site, not far from the laundry. Park was clean and quiet. Not far from town, but road to town is a bit bumpy, so just don't hit the bumps too hard. We came to go Whale Watching, which was great. Island Adventures always does a great job, and their boats are very nice and comfortable. There are several markets in town and some very good restaurants. We will be back. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Island Adventures for Whale Watching, Deception Pass, Anthony's for great seafood, Bob's Clam Chowder was great, drive around and see the murals of the town and the W.T. Preston, a paddle wheel snag boat. When coming from the park into town, follow the road just outside the park. It will curve around to V Street. Turn right and then left. Take either Q or Commercial to get into town.

Overall Rating:

Very busy park due to location on the way to the SJI ferry route and lots of services in town. There are two loops to the park and the site sizes and spacing vary according to location. We wish we had asked specifically for a site backing to the bay - if you're here, might as well take advantage of the location. Note that the park is right below the highway, so there is some road noise, esp. in the morning from trucks. the bay-side sites would be quieter, also. The bathrooms and showers are spacious and super-clean and the staff is very helpful. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Not a bad park, certainly not a resort. Right on a shallow bay with a very nice city pathway. Short drive to town. Good staff and clean campsites and park. The entire park is graveled with small patches of grass in each campsite. Rates vary widely depending on site amenities. Our 5th Wheel is 40' long and we stayed in a pull through site. A well run park operated by the Samos Indian Band. Sites are well planned, many with oceanfront and views for a little extra money. Great hookups, cement pads and lots of lush grass. A wonderful walking trail, about 3 miles long will take you into the saturday farmers market where you can buy baked goods veggies and listen to music. It is also in the heart of downtown Annacortes. A large casino is just minutes away. We have been here before and it is always a pleasure to stay. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Early season escape with 50+ weather in January. Yes I had the itch, and hit one of our favorite spots. Chose a site close to bathroom, as we have not dewinterized. Waterfront was open with lots of spots. Campground is in great shape this winter. Roads are dragged, and pot holes filled with the wet Washington weather. Staff is very friendly as always. Our luck the Saturday Market was open this weekend. Small, but Sunny, and great sightseeing along trail into town. Lots of Eagles this trip. This was a overnighter, not crowded, so WiFi was strong, and can't wait to head out in 3 weeks. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Big rig (63') friendly. Stayed here mid week, off season, in a pull-in, bay front site with an amazing view. The east section was maybe 10% occupied (booked on weekends) while the other section was full. Walking/biking trails out our front door. Only negative I can think of is a bit of traffic noise but not enough to be a deal breaker. Someone else mentioned the negative view of the refinery, which my husband, who's career was in the oil industry, loved. Different strokes for different folks. Have been trying to get into this park for some time. Great location and great views. Pulled into our site and had peakaboo view of water. Paved walking path directly in front of park. Could walk for days. The check in was the most efficient in 6 yrs of full time rv. All hook ups were perfect. Tiny store and gift shop in office. Boat ramp near clubhouse. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Big park with two sections. One section is nicer and on the water more with better views and just a nicer feel. We were in the other section that was tighter and closer to highway 20 so more noise. I would try and get the bay section. Either way, being right there at the bay was nice. The beach area is great for sup boarding and saw seals toward the marina. Utilities good and verizon signal was excellent so no worries with the useless wifi (like almost all places we stay). We would stay again if in the area. Very busy so need to book early and cannot use the outside spaces if you are not a Class A or C. A little tight getting in and out of spaces and parking but doable and worth it for the area. Great fish and chips and fried oysters everywhere - Bob's Chowder House is excellent and good value. AKT kayaking was really good. During the week even in July could get last minute reservations. Lots of others in the area. Make sure u go to the islands using the ferry from Anacortes. Easy to take your car and site see or just walk on and go to Friday Harbor - there are bus services when you get there if you want to venture out of Friday Harbor - one small price gets you to all the islands

This is our second time here in a 42 foot class A motorcoach towing a small car. This park is clean, orderly, well-cared for. You are right on the water of Fidalgo Bay - you can see tankers, fishing boats and pleasure craft. It is located on a paved bike trail, 2.1 miles into Anacortes - nice seaside town with interesting shops and restaurants and great farmers market. Down side is the size of the sites. Ours was 62 feet - adequate length for a pull-through - but so close side to side that we were within a couple of inches of taking out our neighbor's awning to maneuver into the site. We had to struggle with our position on the site so we could deploy our slides and not hit those same awnings. When we originally drove to our assigned site, it was still occupied. Park staff handled this well and were able to accommodate us in another site. It seems in really well-run parks, staff come around and check on site availability at check-out time to avoid this kind of trouble. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Motorhome.
