Park is right across I-5 from Costco (and they have a large fuel station with Diesel!). Very little noise at night as you are far enough off freeway. Sites and roads are tight. Most of the people are permanent and they have cars that don't quite fit into the sites. We were able to get our 4 slides and awning out (with about a foot to spare from our neighbor RV). Small grass area between sites. But this is all about location, easy to get to Costco and then on to the border. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

In town which was convenient to everything in the area. Laundry was the best in over a year traveling full-time! Sites were comfortably close. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice small park. Tight, but good for our 40' Class A with 4 slides and tow car. Not a "resort" but we didn't come to Bellingham to sit in some "resort" RV park, we came to do Bellingham. AT&T signal was great (5 bars - the tower is next door) Verizon signal was almost non-usable - terrible Verizon. If you are here to see Bellingham it's a fine park. No trees to block our Sat dish or scratch up our motorhome, but trees surrounding the park. Except for the terrible Verizon signal it was a nice stay. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Used as base for 3 week stay. It is close to interstate; there is a long term airport parking lot next door and a Hampton Inn on other side; plus a commercial truck parking lot. The sites are close together; maybe 6 to 7 feet apart. All that being said, we watched big rigs come and go with no problem due to the angled layout of sites and the driveways. No one seemed to have a major problem with leveling. Nor did we have any problem with noise and I am a light sleeper. The cable is good. The office, showers, restrooms and laundry are convenient and very clean. Showers are private, individual with plenty of room for dressing. Restrooms have 2 stalls, with 2 sinks in each. 4 washers and 4 dryers -$1.50 to wash, $1.25 to dry, and machines are quite large. There are several full time residents and I didn't see any that were run down, etc. In fact, several are kept nicely landscaped. There is a dog walk area at the back of the park, but no leash free area. There are no amenities for recreational purposes or for children. The staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, there are free cookies and coffee in the office. And it is easy to find. We recommend this as an excellent base park. Lots of attractions in the area. Shopping, dining very close. B. C. Canada a short drive. Seattle 2 to 3 hours. Beautiful Mt Baker is visible and a scenic drive of 2 hours away. But it is true, I wouldn't call it a"destination" RV park. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Just down W Bakerview is large grocer, Fred Meyer. There is a straight shot to downtown Bellingam without getting on hiway. And follow W Bakersview a short distance (1 to 2 miles) to Meridian where all the big box stores and a large shopping center is located.

Bellingham RV Park is best suited for single overnight, or park & fly scenario given it is very close to local airport. Sites are level on gravel but very close together with no trees/shrubs to separate neighbors. Grass was near dead, and some picnic tables were in dire need of repair. Wifi is only adequate for light duty. No pool or other amenities to boast. Do not plan second visit. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

Was pleasantly surprised that it was quiet even though you do hear I-5 traffic in the distance, occasional train, but no aircraft or neighborhood truck parking. Sites are narrow, graveled and tiered with grass! Many older rigs that appear to be permanent throughout park with some messy yards. Big rig friendly, strong utilities, cable TV, and convenient location. Would stay again for overnight. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whatcom Park Falls very nice and close. The food truck next to park had good tacos. Bennett street takes you to waterfront. Plenty of shopping across interstate.

We enjoyed our three day stay in this park. We had another Airstream next to us, so the neighborhood was looking up from the beginning. Our gravel site was perfectly level. The grass in the front yard was green and healthy and since the sites are angled, there was plenty of room to deploy our awning. Water and electric were strong and steady. The sewer port was clean and accessible. The WiFi worked quite well in spite of the park being full the entire time we were here. The management was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They don't profess to be a "destination" campground, but considering the scarcity of decent parks in the greater Seattle area, this place was very nice. We would certainly stay here again. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Followed the past reviews and must say, very disappointed. Spaces really close, grass is dead between spaces, gravel is loose and spaces are not level... Took a lot to get level enough to put out slides. Learned a new lesson, look carefully at google maps to see what is around. This site is wedged in between a hotel and a long term parking lot AND a truck parking lot... The truck generator was loud and caused vibration in our rig for hours. We had plans on staying longer, but changed our mind. Stayed one night and would not stay here again. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

We loved the location of this park. It is very well maintained and the staff is wonderful! Yes, the sites are close together, but the convenience of this park as a base station surely makes that a lesser concern. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The historic downtown area us lovely with nice restaurants and shops. Make sure you eat at Anthony's, there are two, one serves just seafood, at the pier. The food and service was excellent! Many things are closeby. Catch the starfish at Larabee State Park at low tide if you can. Nice museum downtown too, even if you are not interested in electricity and radio, is worth a trip.

This RV park which is just off the interstate, is just your basic "pull in for the night" sort of place with no shade or plants, basically a parking lot with gravel pull throughs.

But what the park lacked in outdoor ambiance, it more than made up for in the amenities and service. The office, laundry room, baths and showers were the most welcoming and clean I have seen yet. Free coffee and cookies are on offer, the laundry was convenient and clean, and the management most friendly. There is even a cozy reading room with paperbacks that have been left by others. The wifi was very strong and each site has full hookups.

A great place to sty overnight on our way to Canada. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a small park, with many long-term residents, but they have at least 10 spots set aside for short-termers. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is really well kept up; the washrooms are meticulously clean. The office has info on local attractions with a small sitting area, free coffee and cookies! It's right off I-5, so very convenient, but not noisy. Only criticism is that the spaces are quite close together--fine in winter, but not so great if you want to sit outside in nicer weather. Great for overnighter, tho. We've stayed here two or three times before, and we'd come back. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good park to use as a base to tour from. The sites are close and if you are not near the office the Wifi is non existent. The cable tv hookup works well. The owner has free cookies in the office which is a nice touch. While you can walk your dog around there is only the grass at each site for Fido to go on and that isn't too great for the people at that site. Outside the park is a sidewalk that I used to walk our dog. Fred Meyers market close and restaurants & shopping a short distance. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.
