Review based as an overnight guest. The RV Park is well laid out with angled paved sites and roadways. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The park has a predominent amount of 5th wheels and travel trailers which appear to be seasonal or permanent. Quit bit of shade however many of the trees are not manicured enough to prevent the limbs from contacting the top or sides of the motorhome. My pull through site had trees on either side of the egress end so I had to back out of my pull through to prevent damage from the trees. The site pre paved and the grass is very well manicured. The sites are rather close together but the majority of the sites had well maintained RV's and property. This is a well maintained park with a nice layout. Trees are nice for shade but they're too close for big rigs to pull through. No problem with tress on their roadways. I would stay here again. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Note: when approaching the park from the south, be aware that there is two entrances. The first entrance is very difficult to get to the office with a 40 foot motorhome and a toad. The SECOND entrance is much larger with easy access and only about 50 yards farther.

From the entrance, the park looked congested; but, our site was a pull through in the back of the park with adequate spacing. Helpful staff. This was a overnight stay in a 40 foot motorhome. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent new bathrooms with showers! Lots of full-timers but overall very quiet. Surrounding neighborhood somewhat rough. Great for an overnight stay. Wifi worked fine. Close to I-82 but no road noise. Office manager was welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again! We camped at Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Had trouble finding the entrance and the office, but we already had our site number so we just went to the site and set up. The manager came by later to confirm everything was ok. We never could get the cable to work. Everything else was ok. Site was asphalt and grass featuring a picnic table. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stay at this park twice a year or more on our way from OR to AK. We are able to walk our dog in the tent camping park, which is a large grassy area and we also cross the street to a recreation area on the Yakima River. There is great water pressure in the showers and have always been clean. We also use the laundry, which is a lot less than in town. The managers make sure all residents and visitors keep their sites picked up and clean and all dog waste, too. Every site has a grassy area between them with a picnic table and a light on a post for safety. They have many different size sites available, too. There is a grocery store in Benton just a mile or so away. We have tried a couple of other RV parks in the Tri-Cities and have settled for Beach RV, because it is the best! We camped at Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Tri-Cities always have events going on that can be free, like the Pirate Festival, the Boat Light Show in December on the Columbia River, great parks and lots of great shopping malls, and concerts!

Very strange park. 95% of the park are permanent residents, some sites very sketchy. Some scary with ugly dogs. They had only four sites for overnighters. The overnight sites were lovely with decent spacing, nice flowers, beautiful grass and level paved parking. These sites are together in a nice location. Included Wi-Fi was excellent. Great water pressure. Nice office staff. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice clean park. Most of the sites are pull through with concrete pads and grass between sites. The sites are nicely spaced.
The restrooms were very clean with private shower and toilet area.
The park has a deck overlooking the Yakama River, nice place to site and read.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park to do wine tasting in the area.
Benton City is within a 15 minute drive to the tri-cities with lots of activities.
Great bike riding in the area.

We just bought a new fifth wheel (Cougar 333MKS) and went to Beach for the shake down trip (we got coupons from our RV dealer for a free night). The park was about 3/4 full of full-timers and workers, the majority older and somewhat run down rigs. Certainly not what we were expecting.

Our site was a paved pull-through and was bordered by grass strips (about 10 to 12 feet between sites). Thankfully there was no one on either side. The manager was nice and attentive. However, for a place in the heart of Washington's wine country we were expecting and hoping for much better. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We hadn't been to this area of wine country for about 10 years. Lots of new wineries and overall they are becoming as expensive as Walla Walla. Our personal opinion is the wineries are simply overly proud of their wine which is reflected in prices that don't match the quality.

The short term sites are very nice pull-through and all utilities worked well as did the Wi-Fi. The campground was easy to get to and easy to get around in. The cable TV requires a converter box but they provide this for free but it is up to you to install it. The water pressure can be high so make sure you have a regulator. We would stay here again. Nice place, CLEAN, friendly staff, a small amount of road noise. Wi-Fi is good; AT&T good too. Water pressure is such you will need a regulator. Close to tri-cities area and all the wineries . We stayed in a 40-footer, in a pull-through. We would return. Price is Passport America. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a deluxe, all-inclusive, entertain-you-all-day type resort. But if you are looking for a clean, safe and friendly place to set up your campsite, the onsite proprieters provide all this. I like being able to take a complete and hot shower, not having to worry about paying 50-cents for each 3 minutes. There is a fishing dock and the Yakima River flows right by. Wine tasting abounds in the area and a boat-launching site is directly across the street. The convenient location to everything I wanted to see made it doubly nice. I wish my schedule would have allowed me stay longer. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Truck Camper.

The previous reviews have pretty much hit this park on the head. We enjoyed the above mentioned horse ranch, the deck by the Yakima river, the very nice managers. Very peaceful place. There is some traffic noise from the freeway, and the occasional train (no horns, however), but we did just fine, noise-wise. One thing I want to mention are the restrooms. They are great. cleaned every day, sometimes twice. Have separate shower/toilet area for each shower, secured by a locked door, with basins and mirrors in the "common area". Good laundry area. Trees is some spots, grass in all with picnic tables. Yes, there are many "permanent" residents, and some of the RV's aren't the best looking, and old, but most of those are kept in one part of the park. Also, don't judge the people by their RV's. In the month we have been here, we have met many of them, and they all seem very nice. We stayed here because were too late to get into the park we originally wanted, but when we come back this way, we will definitely stay here. Give the owners a chance to show you how a park should be run. Rate is for a month including electricity. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Good access off 2nd St. Campground streets paved. Most sites occupied by permanent residents. Sites 43 to 46 set aside for transients. There was a friendly and helpful manager in the office. Our site was a paved almost level pull-through (long enough for most big rigs and their toads) with a picnic table on the grass. Utilities all worked fine. Water was from a tap inside a below ground casing which made it bit more challenging to hook up my filter and pressure regulator (I keep a short one foot hose connector for that purpose). Good cable TV selection, both analog and digital. Wi-Fi was good enough for e-mail and browsing, but not for Skype calls. On the way out I had to drive over a gravel bank off 2nd St. to exit as the campground street was blocked by a resident’s truck. Rate was Passport America. Good value for the facilities and amenities offered. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.
