Rate includes on-line reservation fee. There are plenty of big trees making the access road is a little tight for big rigs, but it is passable with care. Spaces are gravel with water and electric only. Dump station can handle two rigs at a time. Good AT&T signal for voice and data. A great location, near the water. We did a day trip to Victoria. The campground is only 50 minutes from the ferry terminal. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Motorhome.
A beautiful setting with plenty of activities within the park. Grounds are well-maintained with generally good privacy at back-in sites, and no privacy in pull-through sites. Restrooms were clean but showers did not work (ate quarters, spotty hot water, etc.). We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful state park located on the ocean. A lot of opportunities for walking, hiking and viewing wildlife in the vicinity. The new shower/bath house was immaculate. The showers are short and require a quarter for 3 minutes. Roads through the campground are paved and clean. The park is very quiet. A free sani-dump is available at the park entrance. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pretty sterile park not much for amenities. No sewer but a dump station. Had to wait 15 minutes in line. Typical state park ran by individuals that have no incentive. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We like this park. We have stayed before in the hook up area, this time we were in the no hook up area. The only problem I see with the hook up area is it’s surrounded by non hook up sites and the time we were there someone had a very loud gen set. This park has lots of tall tree cover. Solar and satellite TV will be hard to get in most sites. We only received two TV stations on the over the air antenna. Verizon cell and broadband worked well. We now stay across the road from the hook up area. Most sites are wooded and private. We will be back. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent place to camp. Nice beaches. A lot of activities for the kids. Beautiful trees with nice shades during the summer time. Nice clam digging there. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice state park in wooded area near stony beach across a nice flat biking road to nearby summer village of Birch Bay. We had a hookup site - there are only 20 so a reservation would be advisable in season. The campground was a bit dark under the big trees, but otherwise it was delightful. Large sites, reasonably private. We camped at Birch Bay State Park in a Motorhome.
