Camped here in a 42 foot 5th wheel. This park is in a tight area however our back in sight was long enough for both the truck and RV. This park gets downgraded mainly for a couple of things: Very poor cable TV package (hardly any channels at all) and very poor Internet/wifi reception/policy. Price above includes paying extra for one week of Tengonet and it was very slow! The park is very clean and green, however with a lot of ducks walking around, one can guess at what is always around. The park is convenient to Safeway for diesel and groceries and plenty of eateries. The traffic is awful in the area. The park has a nice information center but no real clubhouse. Our site was blacktop but did not have a patio. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The traffic around I-405 is horrendous. This park is at exit 26 on I-405. If you want to go into the city from here, the best way is using public transportation. We took the Park-n-ride using ORCA cards (buy at Safeway) and rode the M-522 express bus into the city. It worked great! No stress, no worries about parking the dually truck and reduced cost. It's just difficult to do it all with traffic so bad.

Interior roads are tight but there are no problems with turns or trees. Sites are tight - trees on each side provide privacy. Site was slightly off level. Waste hookup is at the very rear of site. Most trash cans of any park we have been in. Cable is included but you only get one hour of free wi-fi. CG is next to road but because of surrounding "forest", it's very quiet. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Travel time into Seattle can take forever and parking can be a problem. Go North on 405 and take 5 South. Park at the Husky Stadium at Washington University and take the train into town - especially if you are going to a baseball or football game.

It was difficult to get a reservation and once here, we understand! The park is totally paved, trees/bushes between each site which gives privacy as sites are very close, 60 cable channels, spotty WiFi and Verizon, big rig friendly, quiet, clean and walking trails around perimeter of park. Water pressure strong and you can wash vehicles on site. Overall, great park that gives access to Seattle. Now we understand why reservations are difficult. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park would be a 10 if the streets and sites were just a little wider. Do not be intimidated when you enter. If you take your time you can maneuver this park & into its sites with little trouble. You will be asked to disconnect at check-in. Previously we stayed in a pull-thru; however, this time they gave us Lot 66 which is a back-in on the far side of the pond. What a great surprise! Lots of grass, wider lot, very quiet, ducks almost at your door. Good 50 amps & other utilities.

There are seasonal people; however, they plant flowers and their sites look great. We have tried all the parks in the Seattle area and this is definitely the best. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a nice park nestled around two lakes. With the lakes comes ducks (poop) and very loud bull frogs at nite. Many of the weeping willows hanging over the lakes are in need of trimming. With this and a little sprucing up (landscaping) this park would be amongs the best. The park is a bit tight for a 40 foot motorhome particularly with pick up trucks parked in front of their rigs. Our spot backed up to the lake with overhanging willows. We had to park to the very front to get satellite reception pointing south. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful setting on its own lake. Heavily-wooded, nice and green. Virtually no road noise. Lots of residents, all kept their sites clean and nice-looking. Pull-throughs were long and wide. Only complaint was poor TV reception, and TengoInternet (spotty and slow) for an extra charge. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park a short distance away from our home, great get away without the long drive. Beautiful setting around their own lake. No freeway or street noise, quiet and comfortable. Staff was polite and available. We use 50 amp power which was no problem. We left the TV off so no Tengo hassle. We enjoyed the rest and will return. This park was great for our Seattle based stop. It has full time RVs but they must control the age/condition because it was a nice place. They had hedges between the sites, a pond "lake", and beautiful landscaping.

The sites are very level and asphalt. Just a great place to stay. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Although we were told parking is bad in Seattle, we discovered that on the weekends, there are cheap flat rate parking in garages all over town. But, the garages are very tight, so a truck would definitely not work. Better to take a bus. We drove both days leaving at 8:30 AM. We bought the City Pass, which lets you pick 5 attractions. Ivar's restaurant on the water is fantastic! Best halibut and chips!

While we were disappointed that we did not get a lake view, our site was clean and well maintained. What we really appreciated was that we were able to move our rig into storage for $3/day while we went on our cruise! It appeared that a lot of other campers did the same.

The location was also excellent for exploring Seattle via bus and the surrounding communities. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

First of all, let me say that this is one of the most beautiful and well maintained RV parks that we've ever stayed at. The trees and landscaping are very well maintained and there are hiking/walking trails around the edge of the property. They have a "dog run" which is literally a narrow fenced in area, not an off leash dog park. But the hiking trails made up for it. The lake is beautiful as well as all the trees. The staff was very helpful when we needed our insurance company to fax us some information. Sites were level concrete and roads were paved. We had a back in space and it was plenty big for our 40 ft RV and tow. Very easy to navigate through the park and the road was wide enough so when we had to back it, it was very easy. It is a little out of the Seattle but not too bad a drive in miles but the traffic is heavy. But considering we were near the city of Seattle, it's a good location. Safeway is across the street as well as some restaurants, which is convenient. We were able to get our 40 ft rig in for fuel before heading to Canada. My Verizon air card and phone were not up to their usual standard as the park is in a small valley. Sometimes it was great and sometimes it seemed like someone had shut off the service to the area...and it was unpredictable as far as time of day. But I would definitely stay here again. There was a little road traffic but overall pretty quiet. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for a week, flew to Alaska, and returned for another week's stay. They have a storage area specifically for people flying to Alaska. 110 plug-in. The only downside is lousy wi-fi and poor cellphone reception for Verizon customers. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

May thru Sept $44 per night, no weekly or monthly discounts. Full hookups with CTV. Asphalt and concrete pads, some very narrow and close together, limited overflow parking. Ducks, Coots, and Geese keep weird hours and leave deposits everywhere. Many long term residents but sites are clean and tidy. Mowers don't collect grass clippings, leave them laying for you to track into the RV and grass is wet most of the time. Built on the site of an old peat bog, low ground and during rain there may be minor flooding in some places. Close to shopping and dining, Community and Sound Transit systems. Laundry clean and reasonable, propane available on site, speed limit 8 1/2 MPH. There isn't much else available in the area and this CG is packed most of the time, must have reservations months in advance. The CG is quiet and folks are friendly, when in the area we will return. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
