Not many parks to choose from in this area. This is a nice, clean and quiet urban location. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff was friendly, cordial and helpful. The site was drive-thru with full hook-ups, 50AMP. Sites don't offer a lot of space but enough for a picnic table, and usually for the toad or tow vehicle. Sites are mostly separated by small trees and shrubs and maintenance works hard to maintain the park like landscape. Roads and sites are paved, not perfectly level but close. Amenities are nearby and this is a quiet park, though close to I-405 and I-5. We enjoy our stays here and will return in the future. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pike Place Market in Seattle, Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens plus North Cascades National Park, all easy day trips.

We stayed one night. The park is very clean. The setting is great. There appear to be a significant number of full timers, but that is not a problem. We had a pull through that was not very level. The sites are very narrow. But, the park is very quiet and very friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

This "destination resort" has a lot of stuff for children but it's showing its age. The outer circle of sites are assigned mostly to transients and are generally not level although made of ancient concrete. Inner circle sites sport newer concrete and are used mostly by long-term campers. Entire camp is very crowded. No Wi-Fi. Speed limit is an iconoclastic 8 1/2 mph (13.68 kph). Airport is 31 miles away but closer parks are filled with construction workers. OK to wash vehicles and RVs. The 2 lakes are more like ponds but "Pond Pleasant" just doesn't have the same ring. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Large Safeway grocery is 1/10 mile away. Same center has a very good locally-owned pizza parlor.

We have stayed at this park on several occasions. It is convenient to the Seattle area and yet is in a nice natural area around a lake. The staff are friendly and helpful. The campground is neat and clean and well maintained. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Because they know there are very few options they over charge. Fact of life for urban parks, but that means you are paying for amenities you don't get. Sites can be a little narrow and utilities are in the back in for pull-through sites, so you can't keep cars hooked up for overnights. Even worse, no weekly or monthly rates, so longer stays are prohibitively expensive. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Safeway across the street and an Ivars 'fast food' restaurant, good food if a little expensive, but it is Ivar's. Safeway also has gas station with it. Now 2 lanes all the way from I-5 to the park. Road construction is complete. Verizon VERY SLOW as you are down in a hollow.

On the good side. The park is pretty and quiet. Sites are reasonably private.

On the bad side. Managment is grumpy and rude. The site we were placed at slopped down to the lake so severly I could not level my trailer. This was by far the most diffacult site I have ever experienced backing into. If you are not completly comfortable backing your rig, STAY AWAY! The lake, if you want to call it that was mud brown and smaller than many of the ponds you will find in public parks. This is one of the more expecnsive parks we have stayed at, but very mininal TV service and only 1 hour a day of free WIFI. And the WIFI was so low powered we could barely get reception inside the trailer. The managment must be used to complaints. They had a rather large "No Refunds" sign right on the check in desk. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Seattle Coffe gear is great!! Bothel was a nice little town.

The other reviews have pretty much covered it - The park is quiet and very clean. Spaces are tight. Surrounded by lots of trees. About 30 mins from downtown. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great RV Park. Professional Staff. Very clean. Well kept. Asphalt roads in excellent condition. Sites are a bit narrow but most have a row of tall bushes/trees on either side for a really nice privacy. Most have a strip of grass. Well planned park. Quiet, respectful RVer's and full time inhabitants. So close to everything. There are nature trails within the park, 2 min drive to fantastic Sammish River Bike/Walk trails that extends for miles (paved, wide and beautiful). It's a pleasure to be so close to many towns including Seattle yet feel like we are in a quiet oasis. There is a good vibe in the little town of Bothell and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again possibly for several months. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sammish River Trail and Burke-Gilman Trail. Paved, wide, beautiful. About 15 miles. You can go to the left or the right from the parking lot at 102nd street. Take the trail to the right towards Woodlinville and you will find yourself in an open oasis of beautiful panoramic land, quiet, peaceful even at the height of busy summer.

Safeway across the street. Restaurants 2 minutes away.

Be aware that there is traffic most times of the day. It can be manageable but if driving on the 405 or 5 through Seattle, know you will be in traffic.

Nice park in a nice setting around a large pond. Somewhat tight for big rigs (but doable with care) - swing wide going into first left after entering park. Access roads asphalt - some decent width, some narrow. Decent size sites with a mix of asphalt (mainly the pullthrus) and concrete (mainly the back ins). Pullthrus have a significant slope towards the front - ok if in a short rig, but longer rigs will have problems leveling (we could not level in a 44' coach with our bumper up against the back of the site). Grass around sites with typically a privacy hedge and picnic table. Our site was rather noisy being that it was adjacent to the playground and the community yurt. Power ok (even with A/C loading), water pressure low - 35 psi, sewer ok but required an extension to access (at the very back of the pull thru site). Campground Wifi ranged from barely adequate to abysmal (tengo 1hr/day free, $13 / week). Verizon had moderate signal, but generally abysmal data rate (probably due to so many users avoiding the campground wifi). Satellite access no problem for most sites. Recycle glass, tin, aluminum, and newspaper on site. Unless we need city access on our next trip to the area, we will look elsewhere. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is very nicely maintained. It is completely surrounded by very large trees. The spaces are situated around a series of ponds in the park so that most sites are back-in to the ponds. Many trees throughout the park along with hedge rows at most spaces used as a privacy curtain. All are nicely trimmed with no impact on rigs. Roads are paved and sites are pavement or concrete. Sites vary in length and width with some being a little tight. Grass between spaces. It appears the majority of sites are occupied by permanents but are very nicely kept up, however most of them have two vehicles so the park can feel cramped in the evenings and weekends. Wi-Fi is free but we had difficulty connecting. Verizon service is weak, so data was slow. The offer cable but we were able to use satellite. Most sites are satellite friendly, but make sure to request it when reserving. Very near everything in the town of Bothell and close to a Park and Ride for the express bus to downtown Seattle. Very nice place to stay when in the Seattle area. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pros: Very nice park. Friendly staff. Sites are somewhat close, however a hedge between them, makes for mostly private.

Cons: Our site #50 and ones near us were quite unlevel. We chose not to be completely level as our front wheels would have been completely off of the ground as the rigs near us were. Wi-Fi, although says it is free, is through TengoInternet and only 1 hour per 24 hr period is free. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not follow GPS directions. Ours had us exit the 405 at exit #23, which took us on a winding surface street. Exit #26 is much better, although from the south a few miles further. Worth it!

Safeway with gas station is directly across Bothell-Everett Rd. We chose to drive across and fill then hook our toad up. Many stores and restaurants close by.

We chose to stay here, because of being just about half way between Boeing and the Space Needle.

We make an annual visit to this park. It is the only park near the north end of the lake.... "Lake" Pleasant is just that. Quiet, peaceful, friendly, and well maintained... Even has a pitch and put golf course.. While the 'lake' is little more than duck pond to many people, I challenge you find a more relaxing park in the area. We will be back....

Campfires are not allowed... This was once a peat bog, and if a fire were to start, could burn for many years. Speed limit is 8.5 mph... pretty easy to remember.. Dog friendly. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Truck Camper.

We stayed just for one night on our way home. Would not have expected to find such a nice and quiet park so close to the highway. Wonderful setting with lots of greenery. Paved pull-thru site with excellent hookups. Just a little tight. There was a lot of rain the days before we arrived and it was hard to avoid the mud puddles when stepping out of the trailer. Site provided little to no privacy which wasn't a concern for an overnighter. We'll be back. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Based on monthly rate. Electric at 9cents per KWH. Park is very clean and well maintained. Streets and sites are paved and utilities are well positioned. Lake is for fishing only, no swimming. Easy access and no problem towing through the park. Cedar shrubs between sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. Office is open for service 7 days a week. A quiet park and a nice location. The rating reflects the lack of activities available in the park. There is a nice hiking trail around the park and a nice playground for kids.

We would return when in the area. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Safeway Grocery directly across the street from the entrance with reduced cost fuel station. Restaurants too many to list within a mile. Propane available in park.
