There are two sections to this park. We only needed 30 amp and were put in the older section which, unlike the new section, has trees and shade but also has very close sites that are a mixture of gravel and dirt with brown/green grass. The water and sewer were fine but the power was poor. If we used the AC or microwave, we needed to run the hot water tank and refrig on propane. If two draw items were used, i.e. hot water and microwave, etc., the voltage dipped into the red, well below 110. The park was far from full, but we were placed next to a long term tenant while there were 4 empty sites on the other side of us. We would stay again if we had to, but we would bite the bullet and stay in the 30/50 amp sites and pay the extra. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

It is easy to get in and out of the park. Interior roads are dirt and sites are dirt. The front, old part of the park is tighter with lots of trees. The back, new part of the park over the bridge has wider roads that are easy to maneuver, large sites and no trees so good for satellite. We were in a pull-thru in the new section with 50 amp FHU. The utilities were positioned mid-site and worked well. Wifi worked marginal. Strong Verizon signal. Clean new restroom. Friendly, helpful staff. With the high price comes higher expectations so dirt roads, dirt sites and poor Wifi are the reason for this rating. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The new addition to the park is outstanding, the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Staff in the office were also excellent. Request the rear of the park for your big rigs. The park was spotless, will stay here again. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Motorhome.

Exactly as others have described it. Great staff, owners friendly, lots to do on the site for everyone. There were wild blackberries in the rear section we picked. We stayed there a month to visit the area and the location was perfect. Cascade loop, anacortes, Boeing tour, ferry to BC, drive to Vancouver, hiking and biking all possible from here. Close to shopping too. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

An older campground with a new section that has wider campsites, but no trees. WiFi was weak and intermittent. Verizon cell phone service was weak with only 2 bars of signal. Indoor pool, basketball court, volleyball, playground and bike rental. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here as it was convenient for touring in area. We were in a section out back which is newer and has lots of grass. The pull throughs has plenty of room and space between was great. We had to add a couple days and our move was easy. The Wifi was adequate but not when busy. Staff was very friendly. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great place to stay if you want to take a day trip to Vancouver Island on the Anacortes Ferry. We took a day to visit the Butarch Gardens. We also went to Tacoma to tour the Boeing factory.

Just north of Mt. Vernon which offers plenty of shopping, dining and a nearby Camping World. Situated in a really nice, peaceful setting. There are two parts to the park - the original front is all 30amp sites, cabins and tent sites (some with their own electric pole; very woodsy and closer sites but still nice. The newer part is in the back. There are both back in and pull-through, as well as more cabins. Sites are large and grass, all with patios, fire pits and a picnic table; there are a few with much larger patios with a table/umbrella, nice decorative fire pit and swing chair. Looking to the left is pasture with a few cows and horses, towards the back the view is "forest." Looking toward the front of the park (my back) is a this "green belt" and stream separating the two sections. It looks like they are just finishing of some final touch-ups all the way in the back. There are nice enclosed dog parks in both the front and back sections of the park as well as playground areas in both sections. A clean looking, large indoor pool, indoor meeting area and a nice looking mini-golf area. In addition to the playgrounds, there is a "gold-pan mining" activity for the kids - extra fees I'm sure. Also there is a "communal" fire pit, basket ball, volley ball, and horse shoe pits. Cable is good with 159 channels; OTA TV with good reception and 11 channels, and satellite should be great in the back, maybe a little difficult in the front due to tree cover. WIFI is decent as is my Verizon hotspot. I may be partial to this area of the PNW, but I really like this KOA and would definitely make is a "destination." We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mt. Vernon for shopping and dining just south. Look up and hit the Hasek Wine tasting room - Cranberry Wine is to die for as well as their Muscat Canelli, Arabica Coffee desert wine and Pineapple. Decent casino and dining close by. LaConner is a must do. Anacortes, Deception Pass / State Park, Whidbey Island - Fort Casey. Vancouver is only 70 miles north. Take the Victoria Clipper from Seattle to visit Victoria. So much to see and do in this beautiful area.

The back section (across the bridge) is new, open: spacious big rig sites. Good 50 amps. Level gravel sites with new tables, patio and grass. It is quite a contrast from the front section. Very quiet country setting. Dog park and lots of area to walk the pooch. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Motorhome.

I honestly was afraid to camp here after reading reviews from my allstays app but what I read was not true. This campground is very clean, nice RV sites and friendly people. The only amenity I used was the laundry room which was clean and attractive. The reason I didn't rate a ten was because the wifi provided was nonexistent. But that is a problem I find with many of the campgrounds we've stayed at. It is a very quiet campground with serene farms nearby. We stayed here while going on a whale watching cruise. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Truck Camper.

Really nice RV park. We stayed in the new part in back and it was quiet and clean with all kinds of room for big rigs. Very pet friendly. We were able to get lots of walks in with our two little Airedales. It was a little bit pricy, but we would definitely stay here again. This is a beautiful park! This is a quiet, clean, well run park that is very convenient to the islands, Bellingham, and the Canadian border. Most of the sites are in the shade with enough room between, great place to walk your dog, clean facilities, good store, and very nice friendly people. We stayed here in a 5th wheel. Very clean park. Lots of trees. Hot tub and pool; however, not open when we were there as they were being repaired. Lots of rules about dogs, children, trash, etc. Very courteous staff. Spaces were adequate in size, utilities easy to get to. Grassy area with picnic table and fire ring. Quiet park. Would stay here again. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Laundry room smelled like a litter box. Staff in general were not very friendly. Roads are very narrow and the campers are very inconsiderate for the most part. If you are parked in the last row in a big rig then good luck getting out of the park. You have to drive the wrong way on a one-way street that has trucks and cars blocking your path. To access the dump station you have to drive through an open lot in the tent area and move the rocks out of the way around the dump. We will not stay there again. We camped at Burlington / Anacortes KOA in a Motorhome.
