Very nice park, small but well maintained. Several pull through sites surrounded by back-ins occupied primarily by permanents. Staff was friendly and the wifi was excellent. Nice restaurant on site for you breakfast lovers. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

First Impression: Road sign could be better but appearance is most impressive. Safety: No concerns. Access: I-5 exit 82, northwest on Harrison to left on Galvin, past lumber yard, turn left. Access road in good condition, Garmin GPS was accurate.

Office: Friendly staff, convenience store with food, snacks, soft drinks, and RV equipment items. Restaurant attached. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations not available. Good Sam discount.

Facilities: No pool, spa, or fitness room. Rec center available. Restrooms/showers "almost modern" but very clean, no mold, privacy curtains, hot water with great pressure (score "A"). Propane sales. No playground. No off-leash dog run.

Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. Beautifully landscaped with a few mature trees, lots of grass and manicured bushes separate sites. Interior roads are wide, asphalt in excellent condition with gentle turns and no overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly. Prevosts won't have problems. Overflow parking available. No tent area, yurts, or cabins.

Sites are all spacious, level, concrete, back-in and pull-through. Utilities at rear of site with FHU-20/50 (no 30A socket at my site), no meters. Low water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 3" threaded, about 6" above ground level (I needed 2 stinky tubes). No patios; ½ sized picnic tables (vinyl covered). Ground fires not permitted, no fire rings. Good satellite views. Free cable TV (not tested). Free TengoNet Wi-Fi with good coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 4 bars; 4G not checked. Recycle aluminum cans only.

Noise: Distant railroad, no aircraft, traffic, or interstate noise. Bug Report (early September): no insects noted. Runners: CG roads excellent for running. Yoga: sites good for your mat. Conclusion: Score 8-Upscale. This CG could win awards. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate based on weekly stay. Nice quiet park. Long pull thru's, not all have 50 amp, facilities at back end of site. Asphalt roads, concrete pad, no patio. Several residents but all have nice neat sites. Two (non fenced) dog parks at opposite end of park. Manager waters grass from well water and sprays RV's in the process is only negative. Would definitely go back. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are a lot of permanents/seasonal rigs in the park that occupy the back in spots around the perimeter of the park and the rigs that show up for a day or two get assigned the pull thrus. We were given a pull thru 30 amp electric with all the services located at the rear, well away from our sewer opening. The sites are about 60 foot long concrete pull thrus and ours was fairly of level. There are bushes and mature trees that provide some screening, no picnic benches or patios but there is some grass to sit out at night. There was a common room but it was locked. The WIFI is strong and cable is good. The temperature was in the high 80's and with only 30 amps we were able to only run one AC unit making it a little uncomfortable. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good location to visit Mt. St. Helens & Mt. Rainier before going the the west side of the Olympic peninsula. Staff was professional & nice just didn't get that friendly feeling from them. Easy access to roads & sites. All utilities worked as expected. Grass between concrete sites with a couple trees for shade. No picnic table or fire ring. You can ask at office for table (free) but you have to get it to your site on your own. Nice laundry facility. Would stay here again. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is very well laid out. Plenty of room for bigger rigs. With a 45' + tow we had plenty of room. There was greenspace and bushes between each site. Now, with that in mind, I'd say 70% of the sites are long-termers, a couple with junk on their lots, but they are few and far between. The park is quiet, well-maintained and very close to amenities, restaurants, shopping, etc. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park twice on our way north for Christmas and on our way south headed back. It's pretty and extremely clean, with grass and bushes and trees. Having a paved site is a bonus during the rainy winter. They sell propane on-site, and don't use it as a profit center - the price was very reasonable at $2.06 per gallon after tax. Just an overnight stop for us, so we didn't leave the park, but Judy's is great for breakfast and is located adjacent to the office. We passed plenty of retail shops and eateries on the way in from the freeway. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy to find off I-5. Interior roads are paved as are sites. Roads are wide. Sites are level and long. Green space between each site. Office staff was very helpful with directions. This park is very clean. There are multiple dumpsters and all are clean. There is a new centrally located shower room building. The back in sites are for long term residents but the rules keep those sites neat. The pull thru sites are for overnight or short term camping. If you have a dog there are two unfenced grass areas for the dogs. Otherwise there are "no dogs" signs on most areas, so walking the dogs is limited. There is a lumber mill next door, but it is fairly quiet; you can hear the hum of the blowers some but its not really annoying. You cannot hear the traffic on I-5, but at night we did hear the whistle of trains. Office store is extensive. Propane is sold on site. There is a restaurant adjacent to the park for breakfast and lunch. Biggest downside is the limited ability to walk a dog. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is about 30 minutes north of the first visitors center to Mount St Helens, but about 1.5 hours to the Johnson Observatory which is the main visitors center. It is about an hour to Mt Ranier. But, this is the best park in the area.

Well maintained grounds with paved interior roads. Friendly reception at the office. Longer term campsites look very nice. Cable TV 100+ channels. Verizon 4G LTE signal was good. No need to unhook. Although the picnic table looked new, they said we could use it for our Weber charcoal grilling.

This CG was a great overnight spot. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very nice. The grounds are clean and well cared for. Sites are level concrete pads. There seems to be some full timers here, but every site was basically clutter free. WiFi worked good at our pull-through site (46). Staff was friendly and helpful. There wasn't any bothersome road noise. There is restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch on the premises. We would stay here again. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
