4 Parks near Clarkston, Washington
Jun 2013 - $26.00
Beautiful park on an island in the Snake River. Full hook ups and no annoying cell phone coverage or TV signal. If you want a quiet peaceful place to camp this is it. Staff was wonderful and stopped by multiple times just to visit and asked if there was anything they could do for us. Grounds and restrooms were perfectly clean and well groomed. They do water on certain days and the park workers come by to remind you and check to see that nothing will get wet. After dark the bugs do come out, but thats to be expected camping near the water. We can't wait to make it back here to camp again. - User3213
Sep 2012 - $26.00
We enjoyed our stay at Chief Timothy. The park was clean, had a very friendly manager, lots of green lawns and adequate privacy between the many pull through spaces. There are lots of trees and shade. The park is not modern or fancy but has full hook ups, paved roads and sites, as well as plenty of room for most rigs. There is no Wi-Fi and we could not get a 3G connection either. The park is located in a canyon like area so when vehicles travel by on the highway the noise can be annoying because it deflects off the canyon wall. When there is no traffic it is a very quiet and peaceful place. But again we were there in the off season and nearly had the place to ourselves. The manager said they get very busy during the peak season times so keep that in mind. We would come back. - ChrisO83
Jun 2012 - $29.00
This is a really nice COE park, although, as has been noted, the federal Senior Pass is not accepted. The large, paved, pull-through sites are arranged along the road so you do not have anyone near you when you are sitting outside. There is a small beach and playground for kids. Hookups are 30A. There are lots of trees and we couldn't get satellite reception, but that might have been because of the mountains on either side of the river and not the trees. If that's the case, probably none of the sites will a get satellite signal. We did have a strong Verizon signal and it was in the ~1 Mbps range. The work-kampers who checked us in were very friendly. - docj
May 2015 - $36.00
Has everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge concrete pads, grassy areas, picnic tables. Close to bike trail, golf course, parks. - julesverne
Jul 2014 - $36.00
Large, concrete spaces surrounded by manicured lawn! On the Snake River. Best we've seen in three years of full time travel. Considering this as a home base. - RJ1073
Jul 2014 - $43.00
Very clean park, no dirt! Cement pull-through with a little plot of grass and picnic table. There are hookups on both sides of the pad depending on your RV and personal preference. We had been driving all day and we were excited that they had a pool and hot spa, but when we arrived at 7:00, we found out the pool area closes at 7:00. Seems a little early to close up the pool. The office also closes at 7:00. The few times I tried to go into the office during our stay (for ice, directions, to pay) it was always closed with a sign on the door. One of the fellows working on his boat in the marina said they are often not in the office. We appreciated the clean sites. - Celeste T
May 2015 - $30.00
Stay here each year for a month or so. We are in a bigger site that requires more $$. It is a well kept park with a good manager that has been here for over 11 years. Electric is great as is the water pressure. Most have good sites for satellite signals. Their free WiFi is ok most times but kicks you off if you stay on to long. We also have Verizon and it is 4 bars when needed.
Will stay here again next year also. - Bluebird Bob
May 2014 - $9.00
Nightly rate is based on our $250 monthly rate. Will be staying here for two months this trip. Manager always is friendly to us. Spots are clean, though wish they were wider. No complaints on this park. Will stay here again next year. - Bluebird Bob
Sep 2012 - $29.00
This is a park in the city. Sites are gravel and quite large. Cheaper than many other parks in the area. Monthly rate is cheaper than any we have encountered. Walk to a casino or Walmart. Everything here is good. Not fancy, but everything you need. - carriagegal1
Jun 2015 - $15.00
Staying here for the month of June. Spaces a little tight but ok. Roads are not very wide. Has grass between sites that they keep up looking nice. Our site #18 is tough for a 40 footer as it is short and your front end will almost be off the ground with jacks. Nice park, but no resort, but anybody can call themselves that nowadays. Will stay here again next year as is close to river. Nice walking trail alongside park that goes along river. Great WiFi and good power and water pressure. - Bluebird Bob
May 2015 - $45.00
We pulled in after hours, but they had our packet pinned up on the bulletin board outside the office which was great. The park itself seemed a bit tight, but the views and location right on the Snake River made up for it. There is a great walking trail along the river which is a great amenity. The price was a bit high for us, for just a quick overnight. Since we got in so late, they were very nice about giving us a late checkout. While the park was very full, the interior roads are set up well, so there is room to drive around with the car connected. But, the pads are not overly long, so many cars were parked in other areas or overhanging into the road (we had to park partially on the grass which is not allowed, but there was nowhere else to go). There is a bit of a slope getting in/out, but you just have to go slow. Nice to have Costco and Walmart close by. We were able to use our satellite no problem and the wifi worked great. - tmiller505
May 2015 - $45.00
Rate is not for the premiere sits facing the river That's another $8.00.
Office staff and park work campers were very nice and helpful.
For a so called premier park I felt the sites were a bit small i.e. close
We were visiting relatives in Lewiston, Id right across the river so this was a very convenient park only 5 minutes away.
It's a nice park however at least 50% or more are Long Long Term. Most of which did keep thing neat and clean a few with junk around them. Walmart and Albertsons are very close.
Not sure we would stay here again. Lots of other options in the area.
It's right behind Costco,s receiving area so you get to listen to trucks unloading and refers running. - traveler1952
