This park appears to be well managed. Everything is clean, neat and functions well. The site layout is good but a little snug feeling. The roads are paved and wide enough to provide easy access for our 34 ft. MH. We had a head in site and the view of the lake/river is excellent. We will stay here again when we are in the area. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Neat, clean, well maintained park right on the Snake River. Well laid out to take advantage of the view. Several nose-in sites overlooking the river. Paved interior roads and parking sites with small concrete patios. Each site has a bench seat where the back tips into a picnic table for two. Hook-ups for water, sewer, and electricity are well placed, making set-up quick and easy. Lush, well kept grass at each site, plus at least one tree. Spaces are somewhat close together. In our case, when the slides were out, at least one of them was tight against the tree branches. Interior roads can be tight, but still manageable for big rigs. Check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. Laundry room was small (would be nice to have a sink and an overhead fan). Only four washers and dryers which doesn't seem to be enough for a park this size; although price to wash or dry was just $1.50 per load. This is one of five Premier Parks in Oregon and Washington and like the others we've been in, very much on the up-scale side of things. We stay in a Premier Park whenever we can. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Drawback was cable hookup was corroded and we were told to change sites after we were all set up. My husband fixed the connection himself. Sites are narrow access for 40 foot RV with tow. We chose a nose in to view the Columbia River. It was magnificent once settled. Lots of grassy area and our Labrador swam in the river. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Costco Walmart a golf driving range close. Not a very big off leash park for dogs. Easy access to both WA and iD across the bridge. Beautiful drives in the area.

Have stayed here many times but not in the last 2 years until this trip. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The park is in the best shape in a long time but the scrubs along the lake spots need to be cut much lower so the view is improved. The lake / river sites are the best and worth the extra cost. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We were full timers for 12 years and have stayed at this park many times over the last 18+ years. The park is a nice park and at a location that is convenient for accessing stores and the local paved trail system. But with that said, they have many issues that have really never been fixed, even though management has changed several times over the years.

First, the price is high for what they provide. The interior spots are high in cost, and if you choose to be in a spot on the river, the price soars even more. They don't provide any of the amenities that usually garner that kind of price: i.e. pool, playground, workout center, activities, etc. We don't use those things so paying the high price is disappointing.

Further, management is resistant to trim trees in the park, so having those scratch your rig is very likely. And if you ask for trees to be trimmed, you would think you asked them to cut the arms off their grandchild. The interior roads are original and are now crumbling. There are no potholes yet, but there is a constant gravel mess on top of the blacktop, even in the spaces, making for dirty under foot.

One of the biggest complaints is the sprinkler system. I have complained nearly every stay over the years that the sprinklers were not adjusted properly and I would get water on the rig. The water in the park is very hard and spots heavily. So every morning I had to go out early and wipe down the vehicles so they didn't get water spots on them.

My wife is has been irritated by the fact they close the laundry rooms and restrooms at noon to clean them. That is prime time of the day to be using the facilities. They need to clean them in the early morning hours like most parks do. After years of complaining to management about the above issues with no resolution, and now that the price is so high, we won't be staying at this park anymore. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The nightly rate posted is because we paid $425 for the month. Come here for the last 3 years and it always looks good. New manager who is very nice to talk to. Full hookups, no problem with fairly fast WiFi if too many people aren't on it (Free). Depending on your site, you have a good view of the Snake River. Will stay here again next year. Best place in town. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The first thing you notice is GLRV is located next to a heavy-duty commercial park area with a Costco, Walmart, etc. Besides shopping, there's also numerous restaurants within walking distance, Roosters Waterfront, Smoke Shak BBQ, Subway; plus a brewery and a winery. (The office handed out a coupon for free wine tasting).

We had a pull-in (there's also back-in) W/E/S waterfront site with a concrete picnic-table pad and level, asphalt RV/car parking. High- season rate was $55 but GLRV gives 10% Good Sam, AAA, AARP etc discount. Although the sites are very close together, there was a narrow band with trees and well-watered grass between each one. We did not hear much street noise at night, except for an occasional barge going upriver. GLRV's landscaping, roadways, building facilities were all very well kept. The key-code locked restroom/shower and laundry rooms were sparkling clean. Note - the key-code doesn't work on the back (waterside) entrance's older lock, you need to go to the front entry where the newer locks work. WiFi and cable were free. Every morning the local newspaper was on our doorstep. No swimming pool or hot tub. A 16 mile asphalt walking/riding path is located between the waterfront sites and shoreline.

GLRV is at the junction of the Snake and Clearwater rivers, which being upstream from a dam makes the waterway very wide. We noticed numerous lights on water at night? In the morning we saw dozens of fishing boats hooking chinook salmon and flathead trout. Location is also close to Hell's Canyon jet-boat tour companies. Snake Dancer Tours will pick you up at the pier next to GLRV. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great location! Staff is friendly and helpful when you need assistance. River walk next to the park for bikes, jogging, walking or just sitting at one of the many benches to watch the river traffic. Grounds are clean and well maintained- grass watered daily to keep lush/green. Driving range is next door for golfers. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

* Take a jet boat tour up the river - departure/return point is within walking distance.

* Tale advantage of the nearby river walking/biking trail.

* Kiwi Air Helicopter tours available during the summer months. Again, this activity is nearby/within walking distance.

* Fun tourist activities and shopping, including Costco and Walmart nearby.

This park was one of the best kept parks that I have stayed in. The staff was always close by if help was needed and they were really a happy looking group. The grounds were lovely and the spaces were tight, however they didn't necessarily feel tight when we were sitting outside. What felt tight was maneuvering our 45' motorhome around the roads. It was a beautiful park though, on a great Greenbelt for running, walking and biking. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground on the Snake River. Although we did not have a riverside site, we had a nice site and could access one of several covered picnic tables along the river. Staff helpful and friendly. Convenient for visiting Clarkson, WA, Lewiston, ID and other nearby recreation areas. Depending on you site, after registering, if you have to loop back around the office, there is a tight turn with a severe drop off (no shoulder) for accessing some of the low numbered sites. Also, during our stay, there was a periodic odor which we couldn't trace; not certain whether it is a regular issue. We'd clearly stay here again if in the area. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed in a waterfront site. Best site of the trip, right on the greenbelt. Pull-in site, tight roads, but maneuverable. Super Walmart and Costco convenient. Quiet at night because it is off the main road, unlike other parks in area. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.
