Small park and it matters the type of site you have the back in are smaller, the pull-thru are bigger and nicer. The roads are tight but if you go slow no problem. Like others have said the garden is a nice touch. All the pull-thru have grass and flowers but are not long enough for a 40 and tow car. The area is beautiful but unless you are headed up 395 it is out of the way. Mostly full timers there sites are well kept. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Once again I am confused by ratings. This is an ok place to spend the night. It's your usual average RV overnight stop. Certainly a good nightly rate but not worth the drive 30 minutes north of Spokane. It was difficult finding a way through Spokane - no direct route for trucks/RVs - just city streets. I really wish that we had just stayed along I-90. This park is your basic fairly close together sites. Small bathrooms- only 2 per gender. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Our concrete patio had a large electrical box. Only 2 rows have grass and landscaping between sites. The rest were literally on top of one another - a gravel parking lot. Lots of permanents. Staff was friendly and helpful. Yes they do have a vegetable garden but no other amenities. No cable tv. We did get OTA channels. Did not use WiFi. Good Verizon reception. Nothing nearby except an Exxon station. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This smallish park outside of Spokane, suggested by RV friends, is a real treat. After being in the wilds of Montana for four months, having strong wifi, many TV channels on our antenna, and strong phone service, we are thrilled. We originally planned to stay four days, but after one, we have extended to a full week. Each site has a decent patch of grass separating sites, with a tree or two and flower beds. The site is level. There is a concrete patio with a picnic table. The bonus at this park is the huge garden they let guests pick fresh vegetables from in season. In late September we are able to pick fresh green beans, ears of delicious sweet corn, and a few beets. We also got a couple of beautiful tomatoes. There was more, but guests are asked to only pick what they can eat in a couple of days. The price is right. We will stay here again if we are in this area. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Just down the road, on Hwy 395 going south, is a sign for the North Spokane Farm Museum. This is an amazing small museum of antique farm implements, Ironstone china, antique dolls, and lots of old photos about Wild Rose Prairie, this area of the county. The day we were there, they were preparing for a spaghetti dinner/fundraiser for the museum. Bob Greiff, the collector/curator, and his wife run this non-profit museum as a labor of love - and it shows.

Very well kept up campground. Customers are invited to pick what they will use immediately from a vegetable garden. Kitchen/community room can be reserved in advance. Manager encouraged us to wash our very dirty toad. Park accepts only cash or check. WiFi worked on smart phones but not on computers. Despite the Colbert mail address, the park is actually a couple miles south of Deer Park, north of Spokane. All kinds of shopping about three miles south on U.S. 395. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older park with several long term residents but perfectly fine for a few days. None of the sites are particularly long and the pullthroughs were closely spaced. We were in a backin which may have been two sites at one time - it was long enough for the 38' fifth wheel with plenty of room along side for the truck and Jeep. The restrooms are one each and I noticed a pay machine for the showers.
Verizon 4G and utilities were fine. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just like everybody else says, a great place to stay. Price is based on $150 weekly rate. Everything is spotlessly clean, staff is helpful and friendly, vegetable garden is for everybody's use. Nice and quiet, yet minutes away from town. The only problem was that the wifi could be slow and spotty, but the park was completely full. I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spokane has lots of shopping and parks. Don't miss the park and waterfalls in the middle of downtown.

We are staying here for a few days while visiting nearby family. So far I am very impressed with this park. It is very neat and clean with adequate space and nice landscaping between sites. The employees are super friendly. They have a very nice garden where I was encouraged to help myself to anything I could use. The only rule is don't be greedy and hoard things you can't use while here. One of the buildings is a nice lounge area with plenty of books and magazines and a kitchen area I'm assuming you could use if you had guests. There is a large chain grocery store and other shopping nearby, and only about 16-18 miles to all the services in Spokane. They don't accept credit cards, only checks or cash, but I'm sure that keeps their costs down. The nightly rate is very reasonable, and the prices for the laundry are the lowest I've seen. There is a more plush and fancy resort nearby, but it is also much more expensive. I would highly recommend Wild Rose RV Park to anyone traveling through this area. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A beautiful little RV park out in the countryside north of Spokane. Full hookups and facilities. Good laundry room. Good grassy area for pet walking on leash. Rush-hour traffic noise but quiet and restful at night. Easy in-out and fuel right there. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Spokane has everything. Major stores, restaurants everywhere, malls and movies. University town with affiliated entertainments and diversity. Lots of museums, parks, and playgrounds for families. Touring the surrounding small towns, and wooded hill country is great. It's a very scenic area.

The campground is located on a busy highway but there was not a noise issue. As mentioned in other reviews, the management is very friendly and access to the community garden was encouraged. The sites are spacious and easily accommodated our 42-foot MH. Their Wi-Fi was the best we have experienced in ten years of fulltime RVing. It was close enough to Spokane for easy access. We needed a place to stop between Glacier National Park and Seattle and read the reviews of Wild Rose. The campground, indeed Colbert, is out in the middle of nowhere, but still within 10 miles of Spokane. We were greeted three times on our drive into the park and the staff here is among the friendliest, most helpful staffs we have every run into. The site is spotless and while being very pet friendly, there are signs all around the park to clean up after your own pet. ($10 fine for not picking up poo. Like someone said, all parks should do that.) Best part. My wife was griping about the fact that we didn't have any veggies for dinner, and the camp has a community garden where you can pick your own! We were a one night transitory visitor and they led us out to the garden and encouraged us to pick. Had a fresh from the fields spinach salad. Fantastic campground, highly recommended. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were pleasantly surprised with this park. It is about 10 miles north of Spokane, a little more than we like to travel off the route when staying one night. The owners are very helpful and invited us to pick from their large garden. The vegetables all looked luscious. We were even permitted to wash the front of our rig that was splattered with bugs from our travels. No cable, but antenna reception was superior to anywhere else we have been. 50 amp service, water, sewer, and WiFi all worked fine. The sites are level, gravel, and wide enough to back in our big rig. We plan to stay here again on our return trip! We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice, clean, pleasant park. The owners are friendly and eager to please. All services worked as expected. The free WiFi was strong. The owners have planted a huge garden and allow guests to help themselves. Fresh cucumbers and tomatoes were wonderful. The dog run is large but not totally fenced. We did not notice any droppings anywhere. There is a sign posted that a ten dollar fine will be charged if you don’t pick up (should be standard at all parks). It is back from the highway so noise was not a problem. We chose this park after looking at some in and closer to Spokane that didn't appeal to us. The drive back into the city is short and pleasant. There are a few permanents but none were trashy. Rate was with GS discount. I would have rated it a 10 if there was cable. We would return. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Spokane, within just a few minutes drive. This was a super clean and friendly RV park. The vegetable garden was ready to harvest and anyone could just pick what they might like. My DH picked squash and green beans. Each site had a little area planted with flowers, really nice grassy area and concrete patio. Sites were gravel and level. All hookups were easy and well located. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Call for reservations as they appear to rent most sites to folks staying for the summer. Don't let that worry you - everything is neat, clean and quiet. Park Wi-Fi works, as does Verizon data. Easy access and parking for big rigs. Open for satellite. We would stay again. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.
