We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was quick and easy and it wasn't hard to find a nice site. The sites had a nice amount of space separating them from other sites, which we appreciated since we don't like campgrounds that put every site so close together. At least we had some room to sit outside without feeling crowded by a neighbor. The views around the campground were beautiful and it was conveniently located for visiting North Cascades National Park. Verizon worked well there.

We were a little disappointed that the bounce pad costs extra, but we were so busy when we were there that our kids never ended up using it anyway. We did play mini golf a couple of times and like most Thousand Trails, the mini golf is pretty run down and could use an upgrade. Since this park is also a KOA it was a little surprising to find the mini golf in such bad shape. Anyway, overall this was a nice place to stay and we would stay here again. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a combined Thousand Trails and KOA campground. Certain sites are available for Thousand Trails. We were not able to get a full hookup site, but had a nice electric/water site in the trees. The campground is nice, and there seem to be a lot of activities during summertime (we were there in September after those were completed). We did find that some areas (specifically the road in front of the family center) which we tried to use to exit the campground after dumping at the dump station had very low trees, so we had to back up and turn around. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed a drive up into Cascades National Park - after a stop at the visitors center, we followed the recommendations there on things to do in a half day, drove as far as the overlook for Ross Lake, with multiple stops for pictures and a couple of easy hikes/walks along the way.

Very quiet park. We could not get a satellite signal here but our Verizon internet did work. Long way to National park. We arrived 15 minutes before the "official" check-in time and received a lecture about it. The girl at the gate, no office here, told us that she did not know if our site would be ready or not because she hadn't had time to do a drive through to check. We had us pull into an open field, no road, and wait while she drove around and checked. She then came by to let us know that our site was available. No escort to site. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails and KOA not a winning combo, we have been to 9 Thousand Trails parks this summer before stopping here all the other parks had extended the check in hours for the summer. This park would not let us check in till noon, we had to wait in the overflow area. I have had reservations for over a month but of course Thousand Trails won't reserve a site suitable for my rv. They make us all gather in the overflow area until noon and then we all race our rvs to the nearest site, I think that is a bad idea. One of them left early with his 30 amp travel trailer and beat me to the 50 amp site I had my eye on so I had to settle for a 30 amp site. Across the gravel road from me was 2 tents parked in a 50 amp site. At least they have gravel on the streets in this park which cuts down on the dust we have seen in most of the Thousand Trails parks we have been to this summer. They are understaffed no one at the gate so I had to use the call box and wait to check in and. The park was full over the weekend and the restrooms while very nice were too dirty to use. Our under powered site had plenty of space to put the slides out. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed on the KOA "side" of the park in an easily accessed pull thru. Lots of amenities, especially if you have small children. No use-able WiFi, but had a 4G signal from AT&T. No waterfront access, but Rasar State Park is moments away with large frontage on the Skagit River. Would definitely visit again. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Over all stay was good, had a fun time. One complaint would be about a maintenance worker that we over heard saying rude and mean remarks to his co workers at the maintenance shop. We felt bad for those workers. Hope to be back again. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Travel Trailer.

I needed a campsite on short notice and was very glad to find this one. Nestled among giant western red cedars, my site was level grass. It is a rain forest feel. Centrally located for our western Cascade day trips. Only complaint was how far the bathroom were from our site. Would stay here again. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice shaded site, plenty of room on both sides of the camper, and an overall nice park. No cable or OTA channels though. Away from major roads so nice and quiet. Relaxing campground and heavily used but because it is so large it did not seem crowded.

The dam tour at Gorge Dam in the national park was worth the trip and you get a reduced lunch rate at the store if you take the offered tour.

This KOA/Thousand Trails was a disappointment. The pull thru 50 amp site we requested had untrimmed trees which prevented us from getting into it. They moved us to a back in 30 amp site which did not have one blade of grass on it. It was impossible to keep the dirt outside and we certainly would be in a mess if it rained. There was very little grass on most sites.

Personnel was extremely rude. There is no office. You call on a speaker from a locked gate (sign says NO check-ins before noon) and they drive up in a golf cart to assist you. They will fine you $25 if you go over 5 mph. They have ALOT of strange rules here. This seems to be the only big rig accessible park in the area so if you wish to see North Cascades National Park this is it. We will not return. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Motorhome.

All in all a decent KOA, but the first we have run into one that does not offer cable and WiFi as options. The only WiFi available was in the family center, which was at one end of the campground, with the full hook-ups at the other end. Sites are roomy, and easy to get into. Most interior roads are paved. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in the deluxe cabin, but owning an RV, I observed the site conditions as well. I thought the sites were adequately spaced and the grounds did have quite a number of very large old trees. Not sure how that would effect bigger rigs, but there were plenty of them here. The place was full on a weekend. I saw the tent sites were really close to the yurts, so maybe avoid a yurt. We had virtually no hot water in our cabin, so not a good value if you want a hot shower. Spike strip at the entrance, so be sure to go in the right direction or you will end up with shredded tires. Not sure why they feel the need for this, have never seen this before. Lots of rules and badgering employees. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Cabin.

Very quiet but too many trees for Dish Network satellite unless you have a carry out. Verizon phones and wifi worked well. A good place to use as a base and to take day trips. We will stay there again. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large pretty park with lots of huge trees and shade. There would normally be green grass, but they are suffering with a drought this year. As usual, this KOA is geared towards the kiddies. The sites are spacious and away from each other. This is a combination Thousand Trails/KOA park. We would stay here again when passing through. We are TTN/Leisuretime members and camped here few yrs ago then the powers that be sold it, Now we find it reopened and about 80% is KOA and the sites are run down. To level we would have had to come up about 6" in front and same on one side. Will never go here again! They have ruined a beautiful (was) park. It was great when LT owned it, down some when TTN bought it (then sold to KOA) reopened, how? THEN/NOW A mess. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a combination KOA and Thousand Trails resort. It is run by KOA people who are helpful and but cannot answer all the TT questions. We had 50 amp and full hookup but the sites are not all like that. There are good activities for the family including a hayride over the 4th. There are some pull-through spots but most are back-in. Verizon phone and Wi-Fi worked but we were unable to get a Dish satellite signal because of the trees. Bathrooms were not real clean, which was a disappointment. Pool was down but restored in a few days. We camped at Concrete / Grandy Creek KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Eat at the Hottie Tottie Deli in Sedro Woolley. Half a sandwich and a salad was more than I could eat and the sandwiches are huge. There is a Costco in Mount Vernon. We will be back next year for sure.
