Eagles Nest RV Park now offers LP Gas (Propane) $1.90/ gal. They are building a community covered outdoor kitchen and eating area along with sites for tent campers. Soon, each RV space will have storage units for long term stays. Lastly, they put a range extender antenna/amplifier so the whole park can have internet access. We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Eatonville has many great shops to visit. If you're into hunting and fishing, their is a shop for you. Elbie also had some great seasonal attractions too.

Alder Lake has many boat ramps to launch your boats for a great time on the man made lake. The original town of Elbie was flooded when the dam was put in. There is great history here.

Overall Rating:

Being that I'm a full-time RV'er, I found that Eagles Nest RV Park has the best view of the Alder Lake and the mountains in the background, so I decided to stay long term. The park is under new management and the full-timers there are very friendly and easy to get along with. The Coin-op laundry room has two front loader washers, and two dryers, the restrooms/shower rooms are very spacious and are handicap ready.

The RV park also has wifi. it's strong enough to stream Netflix and YouTube videos. The only draw back I can think of is... Well... I haven't been there long enough to notice any. We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Motorhome.

The staff is very nice. However, the sites are short. We were barely able to fit our 35 foot motorhome in the site. As one of the other reviewers mentioned there was a lot of dog poo on the ground. There looks to be a lot of long term RVs there. It is right next to the highway, so there was a lot of highway noise, especially with all the logging trucks going by. There does not seem to be a lot of options though when visiting Mount Ranier. We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice stopover park with nice views, and the managers were very nice! We go there every year! We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We liked this park much more than the previous reviewer, although it does have its problems. It was a nice place to park for a few days while touring Mount Rainier (about 13 miles away). On the downside, the RV slots are narrow and somewhat difficult to back into. Many of the RVs seem to be long-term. The roads in and out of the park are steep as are the roads within the park. The smoke from a house below us perfumed everything with a wood-smoke smell. My husband stepped in dog waste in the rain. Yuck. Next day, we saw dog waste again (didn’t step in it this time), but, on the positive side, the manager rushed out to clean up the mess. In general, the manager was very helpful and helped us back into our spot. We used the Wi-Fi, and it worked pretty well. We didn’t use the showers. We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a month while working in nearby Mount Rainier National Park. The new owners were still in the process of completing some of the amenities but we didn't see much progress in the time we were there. The bathrooms lacked mirrors, hand soap and hand dryers and there were no shower curtains. We would like to have stayed elsewhere but there was a real lack of RV parks. We camped at Eagles Nest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
