This park is nothing special, just a dirt parking spot. But it was the closest to the dam. We had planned on doing the night light show and wanted not to have to drive far in the dark. Cable tv was excellent. Bathrooms are older but adequate. There are prettier park in nearby towns. We would probably not stay here again but only because we have been there, done that. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The tour of the Grand Coulee Dam is free and is very interesting. Be sure to watch the film at the Visitor Center.

Gravel but dead level site, good electric and cable, low water pressure, very quiet. The owner/host was very friendly and gave us information about the dam tours and light show. The sites were close but not as bad as someplaces, no trees to block your satellite. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Grand Coulee dam tour and laser light show are a must. Flo's Cafe had a good breakfast.

Park is terraced, has several monthlys, but owner is very responsive to making this park safe for travelers. Sites are gravel, a little tight, but almost perfectly level. Wifi is adequate, FHU, water a little slow, but adequate. Owner is always present and available, works hard to serve his customers. Strongly advise calling the owner for directions, GPS use is not advisable. Park is 3 miles from Grand Coulee Dam. We would stay here again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Grand Coulee Dam well worth visiting, hourly guided tours on a van, laser light show on the dam 10pm every night. Adequate shopping, Safeway, hardware, several typical restaurants, and 3 gas stations. 5 small towns within 5 mile radius.

This park is good for an overnight stay while touring the Grand Coulee Dam. The owner was quite friendly, but the park is just a gravel parking lot for RVs. There is an okay view of the lake and hill sides, but this view also includes the many power lines coming from the dam. The site was FHU, 50 amp; mostly level. We had good Verizon cell/MiFi and satellite reception. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive to the Crown Point Overlook for a good view of the dam.

The campground is mainly gravel and not much shade. The camp site is gravel and level. One standout about this campground is the super fast fiber optic wifi. The speed is great but the connection drops frequently. We will stay here next time we pass through this way. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older park with outdated facilities. The restrooms and showers are clean and usable. Free cable TV and wifi are excellent. The park has 3 levels. The first level seems to be long termers and tent sites. It has the most spaces and is where the restrooms are located. The second level seems to be mostly long term residents. The third and highest level has about 10 spaces and they are all short term travelers. They are all pull through and could accommodate big rigs. Spaces are close together and are gravel. The park is surrounded by desert. It is the closest park to the dam. The owner was extremely helpful and gave tips on what to do in the area. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a free laser show nightly at the Dam. The dam also has a fairly extensive museum with interactive displays with information on the history of the area as well as the dam itself. There are also free tours of the dam periodically during the day.

Although not a glamorous park, the owner makes up for it. He is most accommodating and pleasant to deal with. He has given us lots of suggestions of where to go, shop and interesting sites to see that are "not in the books". Although we only planned to stay a couple of nights, we extended our stay as we found plenty to do and the heat (95-111) was extreme and our ac was very necessary. Great wifi, cable and cell service here. Laundry available- only one washing machine, but good size. Dryers were hot and everything dried with one cycle $1.50 for each. You surly get the feeling of being in "Electric City" here as it is surrounded by towers. Coulee Dam is very close and we enjoyed the free tour and nightly laser show. Very nice family operation and the owner had lots of stories to share. No shade in this park- we were in upper level and very much dessert. We kept our shades down because of the heat and the views are laced with power towers. Owner keeps things tidy and keeps an eye on things. He sprays (organic) twice a week for mosquitos, too. No bug problems here. Our site was very level. Also no fire pits- a plus so you don't get others smoke and with the dryness here...don't have to worry about fires! We had a motorcycle with side car for daily trips- lots of mountains, curves and drop offs. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Near Coulee Dam- Nice grounds for picnics. A must to go to the lazar show- free nightly @ 10pm when we were there, but time does change through out year. Free dam tour was fun too. Amazing scenery..Great produce nearby at Shaws. Everyone we met in town were very pleasant and helpful.

Park is close to town and although I prefer to cook our meals, there are several restaurants nearby. Bought groceries at The Harvest up near the dam and prices were very good. Shaws Produce (about six miles from dam) has a great selection of produce and they are generous with samples.

This is a quite small RV Park close to town with pull throughs for big RVs. Water pressure and WiFi were sufficient. Few to no trees. No trees on the terrace level where we stay, but it was quite. It is and all gravel parking lot style park with good spacing for an overnight or a couple of days. We would stay here again if passing through. Quite and close to town are its best features. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed two days/nights. Terraced with three levels. We were on the top level. Had a pull through. Worked for our 25 ft HDT, 35 ft trailer and car. Was told they charge for more then one vehicles per RV. The wife said when making the reservation she told the person who answered the phone what we had. So whomever she talked to knew about our car and never said a thing about an extra fee. That said, we weren't charged. Has a book exchange. Guy in golf cart lead us to the site. Has a picnic table at each site. Excellent cable TV and Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Water pressure was low. I did check a empty site next to ours and that one wasn't any better. Had some low tree branches at the entrance of the park that needed cut back. Very quiet at night and best of all, no campfires. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not a very pretty park, but having seen the other choices for a lot more money than this Passport America affiliate, it wasn't so bad. We had a large gravel pull through site that was remarkably dead level. The power was good as was the water. No WiFi, but a good Verizon 3G signal for using the Jetpack MiFi. No over the air TV, either. We spent one night here and our purpose was to visit the dam. For the price, it was just fine. Management was very friendly. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

As others have reported, the park is mostly gravel and the sites are close together. The 50A power was a problem as one leg was 125V and the other 104V with one air conditioner running. We had to bypass our power protector to keep it from shutting off the power. It is convenient for visiting the Coulee dam and surrounding area. OK for a short stay but we can't recommend it for longer visits. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a pretty park. It is mostly gravel. It does have a nice grassy area with tables and a grill for groups. The owner/ host was very friendly and helpful. The washer/ dryers were $1.50 each machine and the dryers actually were hot enough to dry the clothes within the time allotted. Since there is major construction at Grand Coulee Dam, the RV park is normally Full. We stayed in a small Class C in an overflow spot with only electricity. The owner was nice enough to give us a reduced rate. This park is convenient to the Dam and sights in the area. If you are there on a Tuesday night, try the Order of the Eagles(on B St.) for their weekly dinner. There are not very many restaurants in the area. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oh my. The sites are spartan, gravel, and under huge high tension power lines. Manager is very nice and helpful, though. Located convenient to the dam and water recreation. Would not stay here again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

It is very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a gravel parking area, but handy to see the Grand Coulee area. There are quail and deer in park area. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.
