Overall Rating:

The owners of the park are very nice and very helpful. Dennis escorted us to our site and helped us get set up, and then provided plenty of information about the area and activities. We were in a pull-through site on the "top level", which is essentially a large gravel lot with about 6 or 7 pull through spaces right next to each other. Water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp is available at each space. There are a number of full-timers in the park. There is a nice breeze up the hill, so it was usually too windy for our awning, but in the afternoon the sun is behind the rig so you can sit outside. There is a small picnic table. We wouldn't stay here again, but only because of the location in the gravel lot, as it's not too scenic. There is a bit of a view across the lake to the hills above the Grand Coulee Dam. The area is very interesting and there is lots to do and see here. The Dam is a must visit, as it's truly a grand sight. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The onsite owner was a nice enough guy, helped get to the site, answered questions about the area, had brochures to hand out. That is about were the positive ends, there are 10 or less sites that are used for travelers and 40 or 50 sites that resident trailers in various states of repair. The restroom/showers were terrible with mold on the ceilings and walls and the sites are close and on fine gravel that you can't keep out of the trailer. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I was able to stay here after my plans went awry and luckily they had a cancellation. Most overnight spaces are at the top of the hill. Very quiet at night. Wifi worked great most of the time. I checked out the the other FHU campgrounds in the area and this is best of them. My only negative is the laundry room with only one washer and one working dryer that is in a dark and dirty room. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

As mentioned this park is in the downtown district and close to the dam. the owners are very friendly and helpful and provide a shuttle to the dam for the evening laser light show. the WiFi was good. The restrooms were clean. It has a public laundry. We stayed here one night and would use this camp again. We visited here in our motorhome. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

$31 for full hookups This is a small private campground about a mile west of Grand Coulee on route 174. We wanted to visit the Grand Coulee Visitor Center during the day and then attend the laser show at night, so we needed something close. This fit the bill. The owner was nice and took us to our site up a hill. Sites are close together but we faced away from the sun and it was easy to pull through and pull out. Big rigs can camp here since the newer sites are 45 ft or more. There is a little area to walk your pets. It Is not the best looking campground and the roads are narrow. We would stay here again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

50 amp, FHU site, good WIFI, no cable anymore, no OTA TV signals available. Owner very helpful and knowledgeable about area. Guidance to site. If you are up in the highest sites on the hill,l the only dumpster is down near the office. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Grand Coulee Dam 4 miles away. Make sure to see the movie in the visitor's center and the laser light show in the evening.

Crown Point overlook just down the road from the campground has a great view of the dam from high above.

Safeway supermarket nearby in town.

If you come north on Hwy 155, be sure to stop at the Dry Falls Visitor's Center and read up on that feature, it is very interesting.

We stayed for a week and got a little discount. The owner was very helpful. It's just a large gravel parking lot without any shade and a lot of gravel was tracked in to the RV. Nice view from the park. We'd probably stay here again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Super close to the dam, would definitely stay here again. Arrived on a Sunday without a reservation and was easily accommodated. It appears to be an older park that has had some new expansions. As another reviewer mentioned, there are three levels with the permanents and overnighters separated which I really like. Staff was super attentive and very knowledgeable about the dam/area. We were escorted to our site and provided assistance in aligning in the site which I appreciate traveling just myself and my kiddos. There is a slight hill up to the overnight loop but any large 5th wheel or motorhome should easily fit. 2 different sewer hookups to choose depending on where your cleanout is located, 30 and 50amp service, cable, and excellent wifi. Sites are level for the most part, diagonally orientated, though close (but that's just the territory with an RV park) on crushed granite (sandy gravel). Utilities are on the correct side and though there is no shade, there is a picnic table on the awning/entrance side of the trailer which provided shade and was comfortable for sitting out in the evening. Great place for day-tripping, would stay again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Coulee Dam, don't miss the laser light show in the evening. The dam tour is worthwhile as well and it, the show, and visitor's center are all free. Check out the Colville tribal museum there as well, no charge.

This park is nothing special, just a dirt parking spot. But it was the closest to the dam. We had planned on doing the night light show and wanted not to have to drive far in the dark. Cable tv was excellent. Bathrooms are older but adequate. There are prettier park in nearby towns. We would probably not stay here again but only because we have been there, done that. This is an older park with outdated facilities. The restrooms and showers are clean and usable. Free cable TV and wifi are excellent. The park has 3 levels. The first level seems to be long termers and tent sites. It has the most spaces and is where the restrooms are located. The second level seems to be mostly long term residents. The third and highest level has about 10 spaces and they are all short term travelers. They are all pull through and could accommodate big rigs. Spaces are close together and are gravel. The park is surrounded by desert. It is the closest park to the dam. The owner was extremely helpful and gave tips on what to do in the area. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Truck Camper.

There is a free laser show nightly at the Dam. The dam also has a fairly extensive museum with interactive displays with information on the history of the area as well as the dam itself. There are also free tours of the dam periodically during the day.

The campground is mainly gravel and not much shade. The camp site is gravel and level. One standout about this campground is the super fast fiber optic wifi. The speed is great but the connection drops frequently. We will stay here next time we pass through this way. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is good for an overnight stay while touring the Grand Coulee Dam. The owner was quite friendly, but the park is just a gravel parking lot for RVs. There is an okay view of the lake and hill sides, but this view also includes the many power lines coming from the dam. The site was FHU, 50 amp; mostly level. We had good Verizon cell/MiFi and satellite reception. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is terraced, has several monthlys, but owner is very responsive to making this park safe for travelers. Sites are gravel, a little tight, but almost perfectly level. Wifi is adequate, FHU, water a little slow, but adequate. Owner is always present and available, works hard to serve his customers. Strongly advise calling the owner for directions, GPS use is not advisable. Park is 3 miles from Grand Coulee Dam. We would stay here again. We camped at Grand Coulee RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
