I had to put 3" of blocks to level my trailer. WiFi signal was strong but I couldn't connect to the Internet on my laptop or my smartphone. The park was almost completely full. Good laundry room with fair prices for wash and dry. I had to insert a cable box between my inside cable connection and my TV. Never had to do that before. Sites are a little close together for my liking.

This park is right on the river with plenty of nice trees around it. The managers were very helpful and responsive to our needs. Fellow RVers at this park are friendly.

I'd probably stay here again if I could get decent Internet access. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Site was level and viewed the river. Staff friendly. No significant positives or negatives for the park. We would stay here again. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you need bagged ice, get it before you come to the area. The tribal store has only blocks.

Great base camp for exploring the area. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. There were some more permanent RV's in the park but that didn't bother us. Beautiful view of the river. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

The strong points of this small campground include a nice staff, pretty plantings and potted flowers around the campground, and a nice walk along the river. Sites are flat but are rather close to each other. The campground is quiet. Wi-Fi came to a screeching halt during popular times and there is no cell phone coverage with AT&T. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park in questionable area of town. This park is almost always full; be sure to make reservations. We experienced poor Wi-Fi and no cell phone reception (AT&T). We were located at the back of the park along the river. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is positioned right on the banks of the Hoquiam River but our campsite was back quite a bit so we had no river view. This was disappointing because, without the view, the park is pretty nondescript. The staff is friendly and the owner greeted us with fresh-baked cookies when we arrived, which was a welcome surprise after our journey. The sites are adequate in size and the park is clean and well-kept. The park wifi was average. There is a short trail by the river that leads to a boat scrapyard. It was a little creepy as the light faded in the evening but a lovely walk nonetheless. The area itself has a lot of character albeit it a little depressed. Nearby Aberdeen is a better bet for decent grocery stores and things to do. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is on the Little Hoquiam river and there are 9 acres of river access. The sites are pretty tight and close together, but the staff is friendly and they pretty much insist on helping you get backed in, probably to keep things organized with their tight spaces. We had a level, gravel site. It's a great spot for an overnight or a few nights. The Wi-Fi is decent, but not great. We would stay there again for an overnight. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 1/2 months and were very pleased. We had an excellent site next to the river. It was quiet and clean. Very friendly managers. We would stay here again in a minute. We paid monthly rate. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

OK for a day or two. Gravel sites mostly level. Mostly permanent rigs, but well kept. Some sites with river view. Sites close together with grass in between. Hosts very friendly and guides you to and into your site. Better then most parks close to the ocean. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a lovely campground! Unlike the previous review that stated there were very few sites for travelers, we found there were many sites available! They have a lovely clubhouse and laundry. The restrooms are older, but they are fine! Woman who checked me in was lovely and even offered me a pumpkin bar. I was also escorted to my site and was helped with backing in. I would strongly recommend this campground. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

In reality: a trailer park with 95% permanent residents. Perhaps 5 or 6 sites for visitors. Whilst on the river: none of the sites for visitors are. Friendly hosts, but narrow sites. We asked for a pull through months before, but permanent residents had them all. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was absolutely delightful! The staff was so friendly and helpful; they even treated us to delicious homemade cookies! They provide community firepits and firewood; which keeps the smoke out of the campsites. The buildings were attractive and well-maintained. The riverfront is very beautiful. We just needed a place to spend one night and never expected to find something so nice. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for one night, but wouldn't stay again and that's for a couple of reasons. The staff is extremely friendly, directing you to your site and showing all the hookups. But the site we got was sloped from side to side, so we needed a lot of back and forth and boards under the wheels before getting leveled. Hookups were fine. But as it turned out, the water was really dirty, muddy, thus clogging up our water filter within half an hour. Cleaning and letting the water run for a while didn't help. Still dirty water and the filter was clogged again and again. The night was quiet until early in the morning there was a lot of door slamming, truck engine warm ups and traffic on the gravel roads in the park. That's what sometimes happens in parks with lots of permanents. The park itself is well maintained but there is no privacy and mostly no shade. Not an issue in November, but summertime might be different. WiFi was hard to get. We needed a dozen tries when arriving and couldn't get online at all the next morning. After a walk to the office and reporting the problem it was resolved in a minute. We can't comment on the washrooms or showers since we didn't use them. I would expect them in good condition. However, we feel the campground is overpriced for what you get and we would try another campground when in the area the next time. We camped at Hoquiam River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
