Great park, great staff! This rate reflects a mix of daily and weekly. Was supposed to stay a couple of days, caught a rock in the windshield on the way and the staff was SO accommodating in helping us keep our site for an additional 2 weeks, while we waited for the glass to be delivered to Spokane. The Park itself far exceeded our hopes, and has bumped it to our new #1 favorite. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a 9/11 Memorial with actual pieces of the Twin Towers in Kennewick. Small, simple, but powerful. Also, the Hanford Reach is fascinating.

Our stay at Columbia Sun was excellent! My two children enjoyed the pool (there were leaves in the pool when we first arrived and a staff member worked quickly to clean it), and our whole family loved movie night. The kind, friendly staff offered popcorn and treats in the huge event room that was set up like a theater for the family movie. (During the day, the event room has ping pong tables, pool, televisions, and great places to lounge and relax.). The restrooms and showers are extremely clean, and they have three facilities for laundry! The grounds are maintained beautifully, and the staff works over-time to ensure a great visit for its guests. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Wineries are close. Also, if you are interested in a great dinner out, Carmine's on W 1st St. was one of the best Italian dinners we have ever had.

Rate is based on 1 night at Passport America rate and 2 nights regular rate. This is one of the best parks we've stayed at.

First class in every regard! Nice people, immaculate facilities, and well laid out spaces. Many big rigs here. We made good use of the pool in the hot weather. When we were there the park had pizza night, pancake breakfast, outdoor movie at night, and coffee and doughnuts in the morning. This is the second time we've stayed here and will definitely be back again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new park. It's VERY clean. We had one night at the regular rate ($49) and two at the Passport America rate ($24.50). The park is very open, with large spaces, a fenced in dog area, and lots of walking areas. Robust cable lineup; The roads are all paved and the sites are all level. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Kennewick has many major department and food stores and a very nice shopping mall.

Park is very nice, not very old, built for big rigs or modern RV's. Easy off I-82. Used Passport America on a gravel back in site all roads are paved. Sites have a fair amount of space in between. Park is big very neat, well keep, nice staff. They have a small pool, the road noise is not bad. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park. Easy on and off the highway. Host takes you to your site. Sites to fit all sizes. We requested pull-through for easy in and out with tow vehicle. The site was gravel, level, wide (we have 4 slides). It was hotter than blazes and they have a great pool. Nice little market. Host gave us a local restaurant recommendation. Park seems new. The only thing reason I didn't give them a 10 straight across was the lack of shade trees, but we had no trouble with our DirecTv and they have good cable channels. Wi-Fi great. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I can not add much more to what's already said about resort. A first class resort! The only thing it lacks is shade trees. Close to major shopping and wineries but very quiet. We would return. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night in June, 2015. The resort was easy to locate from I-82 but road noise was not noticeable. All sites were paved with wide roads and new utilities. (I think the park has been there 2+ years). Each site was equipped with a picnic table that could be converted to bench seating. The office area was very nice with a quality gift section. Attached to the main building is a large rec/meeting room. The outdoor pool and spa were medium sized but very well-maintained. Grounds were landscaped and irrigated using conservation of water. An outdoor area by the pool was used for weekend movies and could host receptions. A frisbee golf area was on the far side of the 2nd restroom/exercise building. A very nice resort! We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Restaurants and shopping in Kennewick are 3-5 miles away.

Campground is very nice, clean and with large spaces. Nice pool and meeting room. However we had problems with their WiFi. Sometimes the access point name did not show and when it did the connection was slow and unreliable. So even though this park has many things going for it we feel that at the regular price that this campground charges, the wifi performance should be better. Otherwise very nice park. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Like everyone has said it is a beautiful park and well worth staying at. Very helpful staff as I had a medical challenge and they were quick to provide the assistance I needed. Hard to find any nicer or more well equipped park. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lovely park, wth level gravel sites with concrete pads for accompanying picnic table. Well kept grassy area between each site. Friendly staff, large pull-throughs, cable and Wi-Fi. Easy on and off from the highway. Disc golf as well as a nice swimming pool area. Only downside was we didn't know and they did not alert us to the fact that they are a Passport America park! We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff... goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Beautiful, well maintained park. Super easy to navigate with a large rig. Lots of space between the sites. I got in after hours and found my information clipped to the board. One of the staff suddenly shows up in the golf cart and offers to lead me to my spot. Staff member helped get me aligned with my utilities. First shot into the site, and it was completely aligned and totally level. This is just one example of staff going above and beyond expectations.

The sites are long. I have a 36 foot fifth-wheel, and I could park my crew cab long bed pickup both in front or behind the trailer and still had room. And, my site was not an exception to the rule. I did select a deluxe, pull-through, paved site. But, in observation, the other sites were equally as big. Utilities are top notch. 50 Amp and 30 Amp available; water pressure is 80 PSI (so staff warns you to use your water pressure regulator). Sewer elbow screwed in place without need of rocks to hold the thing in.

The onsite store has lots of good stuff. We found unique, hand made, items in there which make great gifts. Also, plenty of RV supplies. The pool looked inviting. The dogs ran unleashed inside fenced dog park areas (2 exist).

The park is a bit outside the main "city" areas. But, not overly far to run into town. The mall is about a 10 minute drive. Lots of restaurants within the same drive time.

If I'm back in the Tri Cities area, I will definitely select this park again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate is for a Deluxe (middle grade) lot at monthly rate including electricity. This is a newer park (a year and a half old) that is wonderful. The spaces are either paved (supreme) or gravel. 30-40 feet wide with grass in between. 70-100 feet long. Very 'big-rig friendly'. Wide paved roads, great staff. Owner-operated park (RVers themselves) with paid staff and Work Campers helping. Large 'event' room with big screen TV and free pool table, pool and hot tub with handicapped lifts. The best restrooms you will find. Each a seperate room. Good laundry, kids playroom, exercise room, two fenced dog runs (grass) plus a huge area that, if you are careful and your dog's well trained, you can get away with letting them 'off leash', basketball, tennis, pickle ball, Frisbee golf, plus additional activities like free Bingo with prizes, pizza nights, free outdoor movies, pancake breakfasts. Some freeway noise and the trains do come by at night and honk their horns. Doesn't bother me, though. Rated 10/10*/10 by Good Sam. We will be back. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Out 'in the country', but only 5 miles to Walmart, Costco, Winco. Good restraunts and wineries (if you are interested) fairly close by. Good walking/hiking trails in the area.

There is not one thing negative about this park! It is less than 2 yrs old and they know what RV'ers want and need! Spacious sites, lush grass ( yes grass has to be sprinkled to be lush) great wifi, fenced doggie park, great little store. Drive up propane. Discount for nearby Golf Course. Looking Forward to visiting again and staying longer. 2 day's of PA. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The $s per nite is approximately what 30 day-stays break down to as to cost ... we had a gravel with concrete patio site. Staff is very nice about changing dates, etc. and will help in whatever way they can. The office/store is stocked with usual items of bread, milk, etc., as well as ice cream bars, free coffee, chips, rv accessories, plus gift/souvenir items. Love the fact there are multiple bldgs. containing showers, rest rooms, work out rooms, as well as multiple dog runs throughout the facility, and even though off I-82 there is no traffic to speak of plus openness of area is beautiful. Plan to be back to spend another 2 months in Fall after a vacation/trip eastward. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
