This is a beautiful, new RV resort with large, cement pull throughs with a wide grass area and picnic table. The staff is extremely friendly, the store is fully stocked and the amenities are of the highest quality! We have stayed in many RV parks and this is one of our favorites. We have stayed there twice while visiting relatives. We look forward to coming back. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We love wine tasting in the area. Walla Walla has many wonderful wineries to visit. There is also a fabulous Country Market nearby where you can buy a variety of food products and the best ice cream ever!! We always look forward to going back there.

Beautiful park, very well maintained, and friendly staff. During our stay, the water was undrinkable due to nitrate levels that were too high. We were offered bottled water to buy "at cost." A nice gesture would have been a complimentary bottle of water to drink, since theirs was undrinkable, and their price per night is already in the high upper range. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very spacious RV park, with a couple of levels of comfort. We went with the high end site, with the glider and picnic table on a concrete patio. The sites are paved and are wide enough to put in two travel trailers, side by side. Nice big lawns separate the sites. Good Wi-Fi, and both AT&T and Verizon work well in the park. Newspaper machine at the office. Good laundry. Pretty good analog cable TV. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Take in the Master Gardener's Demonstration Garden - very, very nice. Be sure to learn all about Kennewick Man at the local (and very good) county museum in town.

Stayed 6 days, a very efficient and well designed park, I have not seen many RV parks that are this clean, the nightly price is a little high 5-7 dollars lower would be more reasonable. Need a plan that offers 7 days for the price of 6. Enjoyed our stay, well stay again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have to agree with other reviewers about the high rates. The park is immaculate with giant (over 100 feet long) pull-throughs and nice grass at each site. Very friendly staff and work campers. But it's location is nothing special in a light industrial area. Freeway is nearby but the noise is minimal.

We stayed an extra night on a Sunday when Passport rates were available so got that night at half price, which helped. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The happy hour at Budds Broiler overlooking the Columbia River is great. It's about a 10 minute drive north.

Also, if you like Greek gyros, you will love Greek Islands at the intersection of Leslie and Gage which is also to the north.

New spotlessly clean resort. Many amenities staff helpful & friendly. Sites level and easy access even with a toad

Only negative item was that their wifi was off line more than it worked. Very low power at our site and we just stopped trying and used our own wifi. Park was only partly full so there was no excuse for bad wifi. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is a true "10" in sea of underwhelming parks that call themselves "Resorts". This is a two year old park in 2015 so the trees will take some time to mature - they are well placed and will not interfere with RVs when mature. This park was definitely designed by RVers. It would take pages to describe all of the great features of this park. Best value I have seen in years. If you are in this area, there is no better place to stay, but leave room for when I come through. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very new place, trees have a lot of growing to do before they'll offer any shade. The biggest drawback here is the proximity to the interstate. The traffic noise is dreadful and it continues all night long. There are definitely quieter places to stay in the area. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Definitely a destination RV Park. Close to I-82 but not offensive traffic noise, day or night. Two or three years new park, constantly improving and always clean and sparkling. Trees were planted late 2014, some spring of 2015, none will encroach on sites when mature. Mix of paved and gravel sites, some sections are pull through and others are back-in but with lots of room to maneuver. Grass between sites, landscape timbers define the sites. Staff here is totally customer oriented. The facilities are great for large group gatherings, with BBQ's. There is a great play area for kids and a dog walk. Our group parked 40 RV's for the week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return in the future, already reserved. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Wine Tours came to the campground and picked up two groups while we were there this year. Fun stuff.

This was a great park with good dog facilities. Two pet parks and lots of grass. The location was convenient and we were not bothered by any noise as we stay closed up. I have two beefs: for the price the wifi was non-existent and the price itself. I know the park is new and nice, etc. but I don't get how parks can charge more than $40 a night unless they are in prime waterfront locales. We travel in a 42' motorhome and the pull throughs were very well done and level. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

played golf at Columbia Point a nice course.

This is an RV park that other RV parks need to model themselves after. The sites are level, and huge. It is a new park; they told us it was only 2 years old. The trees are not very large yet, but will grow soon to provide some much needed shade from the Tri-Cities sun. Easy access from the interstate. The sites have a tremendous amount of space between you and the rig next to you, the largest amount of space we have ever encountered. The grass was very well maintained. There is a large dog area at one end of the park. There are three different laundry facilities, one in the center and one on each end of the park. Everyone at the park was very nice and helpful. Maybe it is because it is a new park but there wasn't that many full-timers. Hopefully they will keep it that way, as other parks in the area are almost all full-timers and the parks look way more trashy with all of the stuff laying around and insulation around the bottom of the rigs. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park, great staff! This rate reflects a mix of daily and weekly. Was supposed to stay a couple of days, caught a rock in the windshield on the way and the staff was SO accommodating in helping us keep our site for an additional 2 weeks, while we waited for the glass to be delivered to Spokane. The Park itself far exceeded our hopes, and has bumped it to our new #1 favorite. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a 9/11 Memorial with actual pieces of the Twin Towers in Kennewick. Small, simple, but powerful. Also, the Hanford Reach is fascinating.

Easy on/off I82. Park is very clean and presentable. Very easy to maneuver around with wide paved roads. Sites are very level and gravel filled. Very good water pressure. Nice store filled with all necessary RV gear. We stayed for two nights in a Motorhome. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

South of Kennewick, WA. Lots of vineyards. Golf near the park.

All the good things that are said in other reviews, ditto. I marked Value at only 3 stars because we didn't take advantage of so many of the amenities - pool, laundry, showers, etc. We did go to the $1 pancake breakfast - very nice in the event room. Good way to meet others, can't beat that value! Impressed with property up-keep. We noticed that one of the slats in the patio bench was loose, flagged down one of the guys and showed him. Within an hour, he came back with tools and fixed it. I was also very impressed by the fact that they have devices at the pool to assist disabled people - sort of a seat on a crane that rotates and lowers. Never saw that before. Very good looking off-leash dog area.

We had our choice of spots and chose 007 - paved back-in near the pool. We weren't oriented to optimize awning shade with our back end pointing to the office. Next time we'll choose one facing the opposite direction. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Budd's Broiler in Richland - moderately high-end but fantastic steakhouse. Casual attire just fine. What a splurge! We were there early enough, I chose the Prix Fixe (sp?) menu - full dinner with appetizer, entree and side, and dessert for $26.

Our stay at Columbia Sun was excellent! My two children enjoyed the pool (there were leaves in the pool when we first arrived and a staff member worked quickly to clean it), and our whole family loved movie night. The kind, friendly staff offered popcorn and treats in the huge event room that was set up like a theater for the family movie. (During the day, the event room has ping pong tables, pool, televisions, and great places to lounge and relax.). The restrooms and showers are extremely clean, and they have three facilities for laundry! The grounds are maintained beautifully, and the staff works over-time to ensure a great visit for its guests. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Wineries are close. Also, if you are interested in a great dinner out, Carmine's on W 1st St. was one of the best Italian dinners we have ever had.
