I can not add much more to what's already said about resort. A first class resort! The only thing it lacks is shade trees. Close to major shopping and wineries but very quiet. We would return. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night in June, 2015. The resort was easy to locate from I-82 but road noise was not noticeable. All sites were paved with wide roads and new utilities. (I think the park has been there 2+ years). Each site was equipped with a picnic table that could be converted to bench seating. The office area was very nice with a quality gift section. Attached to the main building is a large rec/meeting room. The outdoor pool and spa were medium sized but very well-maintained. Grounds were landscaped and irrigated using conservation of water. An outdoor area by the pool was used for weekend movies and could host receptions. A frisbee golf area was on the far side of the 2nd restroom/exercise building. A very nice resort! We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Restaurants and shopping in Kennewick are 3-5 miles away.

Campground is very nice, clean and with large spaces. Nice pool and meeting room. However we had problems with their WiFi. Sometimes the access point name did not show and when it did the connection was slow and unreliable. So even though this park has many things going for it we feel that at the regular price that this campground charges, the wifi performance should be better. Otherwise very nice park. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Like everyone has said it is a beautiful park and well worth staying at. Very helpful staff as I had a medical challenge and they were quick to provide the assistance I needed. Hard to find any nicer or more well equipped park. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lovely park, wth level gravel sites with concrete pads for accompanying picnic table. Well kept grassy area between each site. Friendly staff, large pull-throughs, cable and Wi-Fi. Easy on and off from the highway. Disc golf as well as a nice swimming pool area. Only downside was we didn't know and they did not alert us to the fact that they are a Passport America park! We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff... goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Beautiful, well maintained park. Super easy to navigate with a large rig. Lots of space between the sites. I got in after hours and found my information clipped to the board. One of the staff suddenly shows up in the golf cart and offers to lead me to my spot. Staff member helped get me aligned with my utilities. First shot into the site, and it was completely aligned and totally level. This is just one example of staff going above and beyond expectations.

The sites are long. I have a 36 foot fifth-wheel, and I could park my crew cab long bed pickup both in front or behind the trailer and still had room. And, my site was not an exception to the rule. I did select a deluxe, pull-through, paved site. But, in observation, the other sites were equally as big. Utilities are top notch. 50 Amp and 30 Amp available; water pressure is 80 PSI (so staff warns you to use your water pressure regulator). Sewer elbow screwed in place without need of rocks to hold the thing in.

The onsite store has lots of good stuff. We found unique, hand made, items in there which make great gifts. Also, plenty of RV supplies. The pool looked inviting. The dogs ran unleashed inside fenced dog park areas (2 exist).

The park is a bit outside the main "city" areas. But, not overly far to run into town. The mall is about a 10 minute drive. Lots of restaurants within the same drive time.

If I'm back in the Tri Cities area, I will definitely select this park again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate is for a Deluxe (middle grade) lot at monthly rate including electricity. This is a newer park (a year and a half old) that is wonderful. The spaces are either paved (supreme) or gravel. 30-40 feet wide with grass in between. 70-100 feet long. Very 'big-rig friendly'. Wide paved roads, great staff. Owner-operated park (RVers themselves) with paid staff and Work Campers helping. Large 'event' room with big screen TV and free pool table, pool and hot tub with handicapped lifts. The best restrooms you will find. Each a seperate room. Good laundry, kids playroom, exercise room, two fenced dog runs (grass) plus a huge area that, if you are careful and your dog's well trained, you can get away with letting them 'off leash', basketball, tennis, pickle ball, Frisbee golf, plus additional activities like free Bingo with prizes, pizza nights, free outdoor movies, pancake breakfasts. Some freeway noise and the trains do come by at night and honk their horns. Doesn't bother me, though. Rated 10/10*/10 by Good Sam. We will be back. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Out 'in the country', but only 5 miles to Walmart, Costco, Winco. Good restraunts and wineries (if you are interested) fairly close by. Good walking/hiking trails in the area.

There is not one thing negative about this park! It is less than 2 yrs old and they know what RV'ers want and need! Spacious sites, lush grass ( yes grass has to be sprinkled to be lush) great wifi, fenced doggie park, great little store. Drive up propane. Discount for nearby Golf Course. Looking Forward to visiting again and staying longer. 2 day's of PA. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The $s per nite is approximately what 30 day-stays break down to as to cost ... we had a gravel with concrete patio site. Staff is very nice about changing dates, etc. and will help in whatever way they can. The office/store is stocked with usual items of bread, milk, etc., as well as ice cream bars, free coffee, chips, rv accessories, plus gift/souvenir items. Love the fact there are multiple bldgs. containing showers, rest rooms, work out rooms, as well as multiple dog runs throughout the facility, and even though off I-82 there is no traffic to speak of plus openness of area is beautiful. Plan to be back to spend another 2 months in Fall after a vacation/trip eastward. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Columbia Sun is a beautiful new rv resort. It is truly a resort. This park has definitely been well designed. Paved roads! The manager checked us in and she was wonderful. They had a beautiful store and I wish I had had more time to shop, but due to a family emergency, we had to leave early the next morning. The pull thru sites are huge with nice landscaping between the sites. Beautiful. I can't wait to stay here again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Many things to do in the area.

This is a great newer park, the sites are large the roads wide and the length long. Thought about giving this a 9 only because the less expensive sites are gravel, our site the premium site was asphalt with a cement patio area. This park has pool, volleyball court, game room, work out room, basketball courts and a center for club meetings. The impressive part is the park is so spread out noise is not an issue. Great for families and seniors like us. We would only stay here if in the area. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you love wine the Red Mt. area is a must. The Cabs and Merlots are stunning. Enjoy!!!

This is our second stay at this park. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The restrooms and showers were spotless. The exercise room has about 6 different machines and provided me with a suitable workout. We had a Deluxe pull-through site that had a gravel base. It was level and wide. All the sites are very wide and you do not infringe on your neighbors at all. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you like wineries, this is the place.

This is a newer resort. Everything is near new and so very clean. The staff there are the nicest people you will ever run into at any park. Great place for a stopover or longer visit. If you are into wine tasting, this is a perfect spot to stay as there are wineries everywhere. Very few attractions locally for visitors, but it is a quiet place. You must have a newer RV, I believe 2000 or newer. I would have given this place a ten, but the WiFi is great most of the time, but they seem to have something in place where you are constantly knocked off or it slows to a crawl. They also block some sites such as wimp.com that plays funny videos, no idea why, but I do not care for somebody limiting Internet access. Very spacious sites, Gravel and Asphalt sites available, great dog walk area, you have room to throw Frisbee as hard as you want and not reach the other side! We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit wineries, 911 Memorial, Indoor Football, Movies, shopping, Trac facility, Toyota center activities

The park is about one year old. There are no mature trees for shade but the park is very nice and trees have been planted. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and spa. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This is the newest RV park within 200 miles of the Tri-Cities. It is one mile from I-82.

This is a modern 'resort-type' RV park in an urban area. We just stayed a couple of nights on our way through but will come back next time we're in the area. There was a large tournament of some kind in the area so there were lots of kids and teenagers in the park. Our site was right next to the basketball courts. The first night, we had a large group of kids out playing basketball until well-after midnight. Trust me, you don't sleep well with a bouncing basketball that close to your bedroom. The next day, we stopped by the office to confirm 'quiet times'. We told them what had happened the night before and they made sure we had their nighttime number. They stressed that if it happened again to please call so they could take care of it immediately. It didn't but it was good to know they cared enough about their guests to want to take care of any problems quickly. Our site was right on the end so nice and roomy with plenty of green grass. We had no problems getting a satellite signal and all our utilities worked great. All in all, a nice park with great managers and staff. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
