An overnight stop. Appears to be a very old RV park, sites are small and narrow. Many trees throughout. Our space was a short pull through, so short our toad didn't fit into the space. We left it attached as the office staff told us that road wasn't used and it wouldn't get in anyone's way. The space was so narrow there was little room to walk between to hook up utilities, we were worried about putting out the slides and awnings weren't even considered. No where to sit outside your rig. This is the only pull through site I've ever had to guide us out of to ensure neither the coach nor the toad hit anything. No WiFi, no Verizon cellular signal and no satellite reception. The office staff was very nice. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

The walk into town is longer than you might think, but the town is cute and a good diversion for the evening of a quick overnight stop.

Overall Rating:

Park is on the small side (~30 sites) and seems a bit dated, however there are a few sites for large rigs with 50amp service. Plenty of shade for inner sites due to tall Ponderosa Pine trees. Sites are mostly level and well maintained. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Located ~3/4 mile to downtown Leavenworth, and grocery store nearby just across highway. Park has free WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), with strong signal and sufficient bandwidth for smooth streaming.

Unfortunately, park is right against HWY2 which is a busy road with noticeable traffic noise but easy to get into. Single bath house was clean but in need of refurbishment.

Park location was driving factor for selection, but there are other parks in area which might be better fit next time. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a small, old, tired RV park. They don't offer anything but free WiFi; no TV, no hot tub, no pool, no food/snacks, no RV emergency supplies, etc. Everything is dirt and the spaces are small. The sewer connections are old style where you just insert your hose, no screw in connection, so the fumes can get bad. Dust is kicked up constantly by any car or bike that goes by. And, you're right next to the main highway so you hear semi-trucks all day and night. This place is old and tired and it is obvious that the owners don't invest a dime more than they have to in order to run the park. Avoid this place unless you just need a quick stay for the night and you don't want or need anything else, including peace and quiet. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a small park - I would consider it to be more of a campground than an RV park, since the amenities are few. Close enough to the highway that you do get road noise. Most of the sites are back-in. Heavily wooded, so no chance to get satellite TV; on the powered antenna, we were able to get 3 channels... all PBS. The nearby alpine village of Leavenworth is why we stopped here - lots of restaurants and shops (you will need to drive to town). Friendly lady at the office. Our site was one of the longer ones in the park, but needed blocks under the front wheels to get level, even with jacks. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wished we had paid more attention to the reviews that mentioned road noise. Road very busy all day long, not as bad at night, but truck traffic starts up early in the morning. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. Also, we were hoping we could walk into town--one COULD, but it is a long walk. However, the pine trees all around are nice, the manager is very friendly and the facilities are very clean and neat. We drove by the KOA and it looked nicer than reviews indicated; if we come again, we may give it a try. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Prior comments are spot on; this is a sweet little Alpine-themed campground conveniently located close to the fantastic Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. Sites a bit close, but no trouble at all for us (30' + a tow vehicle) even with a full campground over July 4th weekend. Wonderfully clean bathrooms with heavenly showers. Overall a very clean, lovely park in a pretty setting. Owners & staff incredibly friendly. We spent four nights here but could easily and happily extended our stay if time had permitted. Verizon good. Our only complaint was lack of laundry facilities so we had to drive a couple of miles to a laundromat. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Leavenworth is a lovely little Bavarian-themed town. Be sure to enjoy a German meal - we liked Andreas Keller. Safeway is across the street; Starbucks & lots of independent stores, restaurants, a brewery, a fabulous park with live entertainment in the evenings, ice cream shops, etc. in this sweet little town. Perfect for kids/grandkids!

This is a really cute little park. Right off of Hwy 2. Close to downtown Leavenworth. We did hear traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. The hosts were really nice and helpful and the camp was really clean. Beautiful views. No laundry facilities. If the camp was crowded we might have had more difficulty maneuvering our 40 foot RV. We would stay here again. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walking distance to town -- good base for Maifest and Oktoberfest events. The appeal of this park is that it is walking distance (~3/4 mile) to downtown Leavenworth, a cute Alpine-themed village with cute shops and interesting, lively restaurants (though note that some of this walk is along busy Hwy-2.) The park itself is a bit cramped and not especially appealing, though the bathrooms are clean and functional. There is a nice view of the mountains from some sites, and the staff is professional and courteous. Since the park is right on Hwy-2 just southeast of downtown, there is a bit of road noise, though we slept just fine despite this noise. We were here during Leavenworth's annual MaiFest celebration, which was a hoot. Their Oktoberfest is also famous, and this park would make a nice, inexpensive base for these events. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed how close we were to town at this park, and there were lots of trees overhead which adds to a nice woodsy feel. It is quite close to the road, but inside the trailer is not an issue. If we were in a tent, I'd be concerned about road noise since there were big trucks going by. This park is nice and clean with a nice view of the mountains as you walk around the park. Our site (12) was really wide and we had room to set up our tent room. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The only reason I did not give this park a 10 is that the sites are small and close together which could cause a lack of privacy when the park is full. We had no problems in the early spring. The view of the mountains from our site was spectacular. The park is very convenient, across from a Safeway grocery and within walking/ biking distance of downtown. The bath house is clean, warm, well-lite, with plenty of HOT water. The women's showers have both a regular and rain shower water nozzle. Wonderful. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Motorhome.

I didn't think it possible, but this park actually got worse than it was last year. For some reason, this park has always been the last stop on the Fall Colors Rally. The bathrooms are in a permanent state of "remodel" and are the biggest mess I've ever seen, the men in particular, I have no clue what the women's restroom looks like. To top it off, their sewer system started backing up out of a broke off vent pipe that no one had bothered to fix. There was a literal trail of sewage deposit running down the parking lot. Throw in the highway noise and rather high prices for the conditions of the park and I would never stay here by choice if it wasn't the last stop for the rally. Leavenworth seriously needs a better RV Park, the KOA and Alpine View are both poor quality parks. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Truck Camper.

We decided to stay at this park for a one-night stopover on a trip to Lake Chelan. I read some of the reviews complaining about the noise, but it seemed fine to me. Then again, we got one of the spaces at the opposite end of the park from the highway. The grounds were clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The park was just a short walk to town and very convenient to the highway. The only negative I can think of was that it was a little dusty, especially when somebody would drive through. Very noisy park. Showers are ok but someone kept turning off the light while I was showering. A lot of people walking through the park. Man with loud truck coming in and out of the park with a diesel truck. I think he was an employee. Last time we heard him going through was 2:00 AM. Would not stay here again. Overall Rating:

Park's website imagery leads one to believe that this park is set in a tranquil wood where small woodland creatures roam and all is clean and quiet and peaceful. Not quite the reality, as while the park is in a wooded glen, said wooded glen is backed right up to Highway 2, directly across from the Safeway. Highway noise is high and heavy throughout most of the day, it doesn't usually quiet down till later in the evening, say around 10pm. Park does have Wi-Fi, however, the coverage of the park is poor. If you do not have a larger external Wi-Fi antenna, you will not be able to access the Wi-Fi system in this park. Park roads are dirt, with some gravel mixed in. Sewer hookups are spaced oddly and are not easily located. Bathrooms were filthy and in decrepit condition. While cable TV is not available, you can get about 3-4 stations on Broadcast TV if you have a good signal booster on your antenna. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Wow! What a great stay in Leavenworth! This campground is a little rustic but we walked to the Bavarian Village daily and did not mind the location which is close to busy highway. The Wi-Fi was strong. One night their (old) fuse blew but we called and they came right out and fixed it. This was self check-in but no problems if you need to use credit cards. We camped at Alpine View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
