Very tight park right on the beach. Well run by good folks! Spaces are indeed tight, you sit over your neighbors sewer hookup. Awnings are not an option! You can however, walk to the beach which is beautiful. Satellite hooked up, strong Verizon signal and they say in their campground literature to stream on the wifi! Unusual and it worked like a champ. Pretty good dog park. No recycling though, it's available at the transfer station off Sandridge RD. We would stay here again! We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Front office people not very friendly. Sites are so close you can't put an awning out. They rent fire pits and people put them right next to your mh and the smoke comes in. I would not recommend this RV park. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is well organized and right on the beach! The sites are level and spaced far enough apart to enjoy your own space without issue. The owners are very nice and the park is kept very clean. From the moment we arrived the staff is attentive and helpful! We will definitely be back to this awesome park! We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Only two things special about this park. The people who run it are great and super nice. The second is the proximity to the beach. Only a short walk between you and the ocean. Other than that, it is a basic park. Roads and sites are gravel. Not too much dust when people drive slow. Also, the prevailing wind off the ocean keeps what dust there is off the campers. I would try to get a site on the North side as the entire time we were here the wind blew from the North West. Sites are very narrow and my slide encroached my neighbors outdoor area. But it wasn't a big deal. They put bark down in the area where your picnic table is, so that was nice. All sites are back in. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Andersen's RV Park in our class A motorhome. Although it's a simple, typical gravel parking lot-style park with a small laundry room and bathrooms, the stay was wonderful. The sites are very level and the gravel is nicely compacted. They do have a small playground for kids and a room for group gatherings. They're just north of Long Beach (WA) in the grassy dunes above the beach and the drive to town is maybe 3-5 minutes. The owners were very welcoming and Miles gave us some places to go check out. The park was completely full at times, and the sites are close together; but we never felt cramped or encroached upon. Their Internet was slow much of the time, but we have our own (Verizon) and were okay. Most of the other RV parks in the area are well off the beach, but it was just a short walk for us from our RV site. There was no view of the beach from our RV, but it's just right there over the dunes. Our fellow RVers would gather their chairs and drinks and head out each night to watch the sunset. The vibe there was great and we seriously contemplated extending our stay for another week. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were warmly greeted by the owners when we arrived. We were guided to our site and provided assistance in disconnecting our tow car and guided into our space. The park is clean and extremely well kept. There is an evident pride of ownership. Great care and expense has been put into the water and sewer system. The spaces are level. The park has two rows of spaces with a wide road making maneuvering extremely easy. Our space was large and well appointed with a picnic table and ample space to relax. The park is very quiet and well off the road. The beach is a short walk away. The town of Long Beach has a lot to offer. Good restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We highly recommend this park and plan to return. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

As stated, this is probably the best RV Park in the Long Beach area. The husband and wife owners live at the front of the park and insure it is well maintained, provide an acceptable presence throughout the day and evening, and insure customers are happy; each arriving RV is guided to and into the assigned site. Did not experience any pedestal electrical issues, cell coverage (Verizon) was excellent. Laundry could possibly use additional washers/dryers, though we did not experience difficulty finding an empty machine. Fire rings are not available at sites, however screen fire pit can be rented (daily rate) and will be delivered, along with any wood required ($). I checked that a patio is available; a wood-chip filled rectangle between sites - better, the area at the rear of each site, mown grass/weeds which fulfilled our patio requirements. Our only complaint, which was addressed to the owner, was that the path to the beach could be improved on. Response - He would love to do just that, but any such action is prevented by local/state/federal environmental agencies! We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Long Beach Tavern (AKA LBT) has nightly specials (taco Tuesday, hot wing Wednesday, Etc), Lost Roo has a good menu, large area for dining and drinking, fun place. Several craft beer choices, a good meal - DW had the Jumbo Gumbo and I had the Tuna Tower. Both were great. For ice cream - be sure and stop at Scoopers Market - Be advised that each scoop is HUGE! We both made the mistake of ordering two scoops - DW could not finish hers, I suffered through to the end - LOL

Overall Rating:

SITES: As others have stated, it is a large rectangular gravelled area. On the North and South sides, the sites are located so that you back in. The sites are narrow. There is a great deal of maneuvering room to allow you to back in. In late October, there were from 5 to 12 rigs there at one time and I believe they have about 70 sites. So they spread people out and it was not too close. It wouldn't be that way in August. Our 30 foot trailer took the entire depth of space, so the tow vehicle was parked at a right angle in front.

UTILITIES: I measured 127 volts at the pedestal and it was wired correctly. Water pressure was OK and there was no problem with the sewer. Others have complained about the WIFI, saying it was slow. When we were there, there were few other campers and the WIFI was satisfactory. If there were six times as many campers, it might not be fast enough, but I don't know. They offer no TV cable, citing a cantankerous local cable company. I was not able to get any signal off the air. Perhaps that was a fault of my antenna.

AMENTITIES: They have a clubhouse and while we were there, a group was regularly using it. If you have an RV Club or large family whose branches each have an RV, this would be a plus.

LOCATION: The park is separated from the beach by sand dunes. You walk a path, about 100 yards to the beach, the longest beach in the world. Dogs are not to be off leash in the park or in the dunes, but can be let loose on the beach, and they love it. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is located a few miles North of the town of Long Beach, which has interesting stores, confectionary and bakery (which is quite good). There are things to do on the peninsula to keep you busy. We also left our rig at the park while we drove to Astoria, Or each of two days. There's a lot to do there, as well.

We stayed at Anderson's as a member of the Cascade Sams RV Chapter the last weekend of August. The Good: The campground is one of the best RV parks in the area and the owners provide excellent help backing into the 90 degree sites. The Bad: The Wifi is good when it works. I tethered my cell phone to my laptop most of the time. Apparently, the RV park double booked two RV chapters (ours and Allegro Chapter 54) for the club house for the weekend. Allegros got the best RV sites and club house for Saturday/Sunday. Our chapter got the spots over the septic field and the clubhouse for Friday only. Site #2 smells like #2. Woman's restroom had #2 on the toilet seat. Floor was pretty dirty. Our chapter will not be going to Anderson's again in future. When we made our reservations in June, the owners charged our credit card for all three nights. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Discovery Trail for hiking. Pacific Salmon Charters for fishing. Shelburne Inn and Pub (dog friendly) for lunch or dinner. They have a chef. Lost Roo if you're looking for somewhere to eat more casual. Get there early if there is a Seahawks football game. Lots of screens for watching the game. Ilwaco Saturday Market. Oysterville for oysters.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed in this park multiple times in the past. Bottom line, this is the best RV park in the Long Beach area. By "best" park, I mean it is the cleanest, most well maintained, and easiest to enter and leave. There are no long term tenants.

While the ambience of this RV park is not the greatest (essentially it's a large parking lot) it IS easy to maneuver even the largest RV into the spaces. The sites are lined up on each side of a large gravel rectangle, 30 spaces on the south side and 30 spaces on the north side. A trail to the beach starts at about the center of the west end of the rectangle (entrance from the street, at the opposite end).

With my Sprinter-based Class B (Van) RV, it was a piece of cake to park. (I wish I'd known about this park when I had a 43' Class A some years ago.)

About a year ago, new owners took over the park. They are making efforts to improve and upgrade the facilities -- but have been stymied in some of their plans by state and local zoning/coastal development restrictions. (e.g. they wanted to tear down and replace the restrooms, shower, and laundry facility -- but are not allowed to rebuild what has already been there for years... ) However, the owner's heart is in the right place, even as they need to fight with difficult bureaucrats.

This visit was during the annual "Kite Festival" in Long Beach, and (mostly) the weather was quite cooperative. Anderson's RV Park is about 3 miles north of the town of Long Beach, so it was well located but too far for a convenient walk to where the main activities were located. The RV Park prices were not increased for this annual event, even though they were full -- but we did have to pay in full, in advance for our 3 night (minimum) stay during the Festival. I will definitely stay here again. (We like to visit the coast 2 or 3 times each year.) We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Perfect for visiting the beach. Modest walk through the dunes to the water, but no streets to cross, though finding the path from the beach back to the RV park is tricky. (Local rules do not allow the owners to post an "artificial" sign to mark the trail head -- and there are many trails to various homes, etc., along the beach.)

Overall Rating:

We had space 54, absolutely the best in the park. It was one of two spots at the end, closest to the beach, which is about a three minute easy walk away.

Unfortunately, there is no ocean view, rather there are dunes and sea grass as far as you can see. The dunes were beautiful, but I wish we could have been able to see the ocean. For $70 ($63 + tax) per night, I expected to see the surf. I did like that our space had no neighbors on two sides.

It was annoying that the park host insisted on "helping" us into our site. We have a small RV and manage just fine. With the help of the park host, we ended up crooked in the site. No biggy, but worth mentioning in case that kind of thing bugs you too.

There is no cable, but many channels came through with just the antenna. They claim to offer unlimited wifi and the host encouraged us to stream movies. We tried and couldn't play a Netflix program without constant service interruptions. This wouldn't bug me if they hadn't said they have great wifi for streaming.

If we hadn't upgraded to one of the front sites, I think we would have left. The spaces are little more than parking spots with a rectangle of bark dust and a tiny picnic table. The neighboring site's connections are literally IN your campsite - right next to the picnic tables. Also, if you want to have a fire, you have to rent a fire pit - I think that's an extra $10 per night. The fire pit comes with the two more expensive ocean front sites.

The park is clean, though as not well kept as it could be. There is a neat garden area that has potential to be beautiful with some care.

Overall, I'm not sure we will be back - and we def wouldn't come back if the front sites were unavailable. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sign says on the beach, cannot see beach or hear ocean. worst value for the price. RV pad just wide enough for RV and a couple feet longer than my 26 ft RV. Outside area about 9ft by about 28 ft with your neighbors electric and water pedestal in the middle of your area and enjoy your meal at your picnic table which is right beside your neighbors sewer line dump. RV pad gravel and outside area is bark, no lawn. if you want a fire you have to rent their pit for $10.00 per night. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We showed up late afternoon with no reservation and from the first hello they made us feel welcome. We were personally guided to our site and he offered to help us hook up. Our site was level and clean. There was an open field of beautiful sea grass directly behind all the sites on both sides of the park. From our site we could hear the surf just beyond the dunes. A two or three minute stroll along a clean trail the beach opened up to the longest beach on the west coast. Fog in the morning cleared to a spectacular autumn day. The staff was so helpful giving us the bus schedule into town and back. We had excellent pan fried oysters, visited a local museum and treated ourselves to bakery goods before taking the bus back to the park. We had such a great time we asked if they had space for us for extra days. They did and we stayed. They have a very clean and efficient laundromat which we used and a very nice fenced in dog area. We highly recommend this great family RV park! We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Motorhome.
