Before I tell my story, first understand that this is a VERY low end RV park, with grass RV sites on what appears to be low lying land (it was quite soggy). Many of the rv's parked there appeared to be long term. I was unimpressed even before my hassle with the manager. I contacted the park manager on Sunday, May 28 (day before Memorial Day) to make a reservation for Monday evening, Memorial Day. I asked the manager if she would honor the Passport America rate, even though it was the evening of a holiday. She immediately said she would honor the rate. I arrived at the park on Monday about 5 pm. The office was locked and a sign on the window said "select a site and call me at xxxx phone number". So I found a site (which was grass and very soggy) and got the rv hooked up and leveled. The maintenance man stopped at my rig and said the manager wanted me to check in. So I went to the office right away. However, the office was still locked and dark. After a few minutes the manager showed up and began to chastise me for not calling right away. I told her I had only been there 10 minutes. She backed off and began to check me in. I pulled out my Passport America card and credit card. She suddenly told me she couldn't honor the Passport America card since it was a holiday. I reminded her of our conversation the previous day. She insisted she could not honor the discount, even though she had promised it the day before. Instead of the $24 rate for Passport, she insisted the full rate of 47.50. I refused, and disconnected the rv. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here two nights. Front desk person not particularly nice or welcoming. Overall, the place is a pit filled mostly with run-down long-term residents. Even though the space was a "pull-through," getting out was extremely difficult. Too many cars parked in places they should not be. When it is raining, which is much of the time here, the place is one big mud hole. This place is about 30 years passed it's prime. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The woman who ran the office was the most unfriendly person I've met in a long time. It was muddy, to hard to park a fifth wheel too many cars and very close to each other. They rent it out to people who live there year round and I felt like I was staying in a use car lot, with rundown trailers. the bathroom was a mess. Sorry I wasted my money and would never stay there again, or recommend it ever. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Do not waste your time or money staying at the Driftwood RV Park in Long Beach, WA. We had so much trouble getting electricity and ended up using our generator. The owner offered to give us a half price refund, then reneged. He claims now that he said he'd reimburse us half if we left, which he hadn't said at the time. We did leave early the next morning. On the positive side, the restrooms were recently painted and extremely clean, and the office is well stocked with things to buy. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend staying here. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Was not told 50a service not available. Kept tripping breaker and he said the site 30a was connected to a 15a in the main panel and that he would take care of it. Got back from our visit with friends and no power, no note and office closed. I finally got his attention that night and told him my batteries were getting low because he hadn't connected power, i told him the batteries were new and if allowed to drop below 12.4v it would shorten the ability to recharge from 1000 times to 300 and then asked him what he would do for us. He said he could give us half off and I said that would be acceptable. Now he claims he said half off if we left that night. Paying for nothing? We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Roads are a little tight, both in and out. All sites are grass, roads are gravel. Our site was wide, but most are not. Cable is analog, but tolerable. WiFi is limited to two devices per unit, regardless of # of guests. All in all, it's OK. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very old park with several old units that haven't moved in years. For the price it worked for us since it was close to town. Only had 30 amp but everything else worked fine. WiFi was strong at the site. They must have upgraded since last review. Cable was good but use a water regulator because I think there is high pressure. Site was good size, we could park our 37 ft MH with car. Looking at other parks in the area this is about the normal. It works for a stop. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

We found the park to be very dated and in great need of a little tender loving care. If you want Internet you have to take your computer into the office and they will connect it for you. In order to do so they need your MAC address. We were not comfortable with that. Also, you can only have one computer hooked up to the Wi-Fi per site. This is a restriction we have never encountered before. The park is convenient to downtown Long Beach. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in this park for many years. We like being close to the beach, the trail that winds through the dunes and being able to walk to town, and not have to deal with traffic and parking issues. That said, this park has gone steadily down hill in the past couple of years. There have always been a few permanents living at the rear of the park. This year there appeared to be more really shabby units in the park. Also the people in the office were quite rude and not at all the friendly people we had dealt with in prior years. This is an older park that was built prior to the large RVs made today. It is not a park for 40' motor homes towing full size automobiles behind them. But they are put in this park anyway. We were assigned a pull through spot that took us about a dozen attempts to get into. The spaces on either side of us were occupied by huge motor homes with their tow cars parked in the street behind them. We finally got into the spot but had to back out when we left, which took quite a bit of maneuvering also. The cable TV was good but the Wi-Fi connection was non-existent. There is no Verizon reception so our broadband connection did not work either. This was probably our last stay in this park. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very hard to rate this park. First the good stuff; Power is solid, water pressure good, site fairly level, abundant grass. We paid for a week and still were charged $37.00 a day. If we wanted Wi-Fi & cable add $1.50 each. I had called and made a reservation for a week. When we arrived the back in spot was too tight for me to even try to get into. The manager was nice enough to move us to another spot. The caveat being that this site was reserved on what would be our last day and if we wanted to stay, we would need to move. The manager repeatedly said that all sites were booked yet many sites remained open our entire stay. When we opted to leave instead of relocate to another spot the manager blurted out "no refunds"... We knew that already but it was indicative of the managements. Additionally, there are far too many permanent residents giving the park that run down look. The website claims walking distance to the beach just across 101? Not. You can walk, but be prepared for well over 1/4 mile stroll. This is an odd park for certain. We will not stay again. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at the Driftwood RV Park for two nights in really rainy, windy weather. The park was adequate, but really basic. We did get a discount for Good Sam, although there was a charge of $1.50 for Wi-Fi and $1.50 for cable TV. However, both came in very clear. They do not accept credit cards, so bring cash. While we were here, we did have dinner at Jimellas at Klipsan Beach. It was really good!! We also were toured the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, and climbed up the North Head Lighthouse. We have a 36-footer and the pull-through site was easy in and out. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. Basic rate $31 (Good Sam) for full hookups doesn't include TV ($1.50)or WiFi($2.00) but total rate is still reasonable. Owner has to configure your computer's IP address to get you wifi access. I assume that that makes it more secure. I had a very strong signal. Clean, reasonable laundry (W-$1.25; D-$1.00). Long walk to downtown or beach. Spaces are narrow and no screening from adjacent units. Adequate park for overnight. Due to cramped spaces and little privacy I wouldn't want to stay here long-term. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grassy sites, friendly owners. Extra charge for WiFi ($2/day) and cable TV ($1.50). We were in site 27 and our kids were in site 26, which worked like buddy sites where both of our doors opened to a common middle area. Great! No problem with awnings or slides, lots of room. Pretty quiet here. Beach access across the street for foot traffic. Vehicle beach access is a short distance in either direction. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
