We stayed at this campground because it was the only one open in this area. All the forest campgrounds were closed. It is a one hour drive from here to Artist Point in Mt. Baker National Park which was our destination for hiking. The day we arrived we were the only people here. Park office was only open on weekends. The sites were back-ins except for two unlevel pull-thrus. Our 35 foot motorhome had issues with narrow roads, and constant tree branches hitting our roof. Some sites were level but many were not. Water and electricity were fine. This campground is made more for camper pick-ups, tents, and smaller Class C and A motorhomes. In the summer the shade would be loved and in the fall night time comes early. The lake is a ways from the camping area but people with boats and fisherman would like it. We camped at Silver Lake County Park in a Motorhome.Undo
