Wonderful place to stay. Large green grassy spots. Camp owners are very friendly and helpful. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were to be here a month but after the first week, workers were parked next to us. They would party til all hours. There dogs would bark nonstop. We went to management and asked to be moved. We were told "NO" and that if we didn't like it we could leave. The park was basically empty without being fully booked for the rest of the month. Still not sure why we couldn't move. Instead, we left the next day. Guess being quiet was against the rules. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park exceeded my expectations. I'm always a little leery when "& Trailer Park" is in the mix... but the permanent/long term residents were around the perimeter of the property and their sites were very clean and tidy. The main camp sites are in the center of the property, and can be treated as pull-through or back-in, depending on how busy the campground might be. Big rigs should have no trouble as the sites are fairly long. Management was very pleasant and helpful, providing many tips about things to see in the area, and in helping us into our site (which was quite easy). Shower/rest rooms had been refurbished in the past couple of years. The "home made" stalls were a tad small, but the shower was first rate. (Bathrooms had a bath-rug by the sinks.) It appeared that the bathrooms had been freshly painted for the season. Gravel roadways and sites, with lawn in between. It was hard to get a sense of the site size, since we were the only RV in the part in this pre-season time. (It rained the whole 2 days of our stay.) The ambience was quite nice. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Considerable scenery in the area, which is on the International Selkirk Loop scenic byway. Visits to multiple hydroelectric dams, mountain scenery, and a lot of forest to view. We had a nice lunch in Metaline Falls (a couple miles north of Metaline) at a restaurant in an historic building.

Stayed here for 4 days with an Escapees Chapter camp-out. Owners were wonderful. The park is very well maintained and has beautiful green grass all over. If you're in the area you can't go wrong staying here. Was well worth the money. Nice quiet campground. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Truck Camper.

We were with a group and don't know if the above rate (including taxes) is a group rate or not. Anyway staff makes everyone feel special and welcomed. There is a group meeting room and the restrooms are kept locked with key available for the asking, also a laundromat in same building as restroom. Although this is not a resort, it was very quiet area with a mini mart and gas station as well as a cafe across Highway 31 from the RV park. Staff lives on the property and are available to answer questions regarding area, fishing, etc. Although campground is a grassy field with assigned sites circled with a gravel road, we had no problems siting our 20 ft. travel trailer and those with motorhomes or 5th wheels had no problems either. There are some side by side sites also. This is a don't miss campground for those wanting a relaxing weekend with fishing, hiking, etc. there for the doing. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.
