On a Saturday morning, we called this Park in a panic. We needed a place to stay to visit nearby friends, and we mistakenly thought we had a reservation at a nearby State Park but the space wouldn't work. When we called, the young lady on duty managed to find space for our 3-day stay, but we would be required to move around. When we arrive later that day she had managed to find us a beautiful spot next to the river and we didn't have to move. The Park is kept impeccably clean and well maintained. The only downside of staying here is the periodic passing train (and whistle), and the nearby highway noise, but you very quickly adjust to this and it isn't bothersome. There is access to the river, and a small sandy beach, but you must be cautious due to the cold fast running water. There is an abundance of shade from large trees, and every site has a picnic table and a fire ring. The Park has a pretty extensive list of Rules which keep the atmosphere enjoyable. We will certainly come back again, likely for a longer visit. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tried to book online, but had poor reception at our location. Called and was greeted by a great person who only wanted my name and phone number to hold the space for same day arrival. Check in was a breeze! No Discounts. Back in only parking, but plenty of room for rig and tow. The grounds are beautiful and are located right on the river. We were fortunate we got a spot as the result of a cancellation. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice clean campground on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Good spacing between sites and nice asphalt pads. Ours was perfectly level. The utilities are to the back of the space and all worked well. There are two restrooms with one shower in each side. The showers are coin-op. Four minutes for $0.25. There is also a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. The washers were pretty large but at $2 each seemed overpriced. Dryers were also $2 per load. Didn't use so can't comment on efficiency. Nice overnight stop or place to use as base camp to explore the area. Wi-fi worked pretty well. Two bars on Verizon. I would've given it a higher rating except for the noise from freight trains blowing their whistle at a nearby crossing. Full hookup was $32. Electric & water is only $27 and there is a dump station, but there are only about four of those sites and they were full. I would use this place again if in the area and couldn't find a decent place any cheaper. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Truck Camper.

This park is set in a beautiful woods along the river bank. The roads are easily navigated even with a large motorhome. The campsites are long enough and there is plenty of space between the campsites. The park is well maintained. The hookups are good. The wifi works well. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

This park was a gem ... small, spacious, grassy area along the river. Spacious sites, and while there are plenty of shade trees, our satellite worked in our pull through. A nice spot near town, and a great value for the price! We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here previously and were not disappointed this time either. We were here for a large rally of our owner's club, which the park accommodated very well. The sites are large, paved and surrounded by lovely green grassy areas and beautiful, big shade trees. They are level sites with picnic tables. The river flows by a portion of the campground, giving more great views to those sites. We had rally activities in the covered picnic shelter. It is just a beautiful and well cared for park and we will return. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is close to Leavenworth which is well worth a side trip to visit. There are lots of fruit stands as this entire area is a hugely popular fruit growing area. There are also lots of vineyards and wineries. We enjoyed the Monitor Farmer's Market as well.

This is a nice, spacious park. Well maintained and friendly staff. This is our 2nd stay here. There has been a number of improvements since our last stay. Most obvious is repaving of the sites. Last time they were in need of repair but all is new now. Only con is that the park is a few miles from the city but an excellent setting by the river. They sell Propane on site if needed. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Located a few miles west of Wenatchee on US-97, the setting is a beautiful grass and tree filled park. Upon arrival, the staff was helpful and got us checked in with little effort. The site was asphalt paved and level. Trees provided some shade (depends on the site). As requested, we were located just a short distance from the showers/restroom. Road noise is a problem at the park, as it "fronts" on US 97, which is a 4 lane divided road with heavy traffic, though we weren't too bothered by road noise, since the weather required use of our AC that drowned out the road noise. This was a lovely park and I'll likely use it again. Showers did require feeding in some quarters, but that's common in WA State parks, so it came as no surprise in a County park. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Well kept. We had Elec/Water ... full hookup was $5 more. They say they have beach access but that is open to intrepretation. There are a few 20-30 ft wide river edge access but the river is so rapid, I would not suggest kids to go in. Limited pull thru sites. Most are wagon wheel shaped back ins. Easy in/out access from highway. Office staff was friendly and helpful throughout visit. Park was clean and well kept. Roads were paved as were the sites. Good space between sites also. Utility hookups were convenient. Had good line of sight for roof mounted satellite dish, one of few spots in park that did. We would stay here again. Really nice park that we have stayed at several times. The employees have always been great. Not "government type" workers but folks who are proud of their park. If it were not for the hwy noise, no cable and the fear of you RV'ers that only stay in 9 or 10's crowding us out we would rate it higher. If you are coming from Wenatchee on hwy 2 the enterence is from a really short left turn lane. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

We loved staying at this park. We stayed 2 weeks as a family (kids age 2 and 4) while my husband worked in Wenatchee during the weekdays. I felt very safe here with the kids by myself. Beautiful RV park and very friendly and helpful staff. It is right next to highway 97/2 so depending on your site there can be a lot of road noise. We were first in site #32 in loop D and the road noise was very loud but the WiFi signal was great. Due to a full campground we had to move to site #7 in loop A. Here the road noise was much quieter because we had the sound of the rushing river, but the WiFi signal was weak. This site was amazing as it backed up to the river and a little rock pathway down to a small beach area. The kids and 2 dogs loved going down there to play. Lots of trees everywhere but they are well maintained so they don't get close to the RVs. The center of each circle is full of beautiful huge trees with grass everywhere. Laundry facilities were very clean. All the rigs in here were very nice - back loop C is for guests staying May-Sept and they were all very nice people. No tents allowed and everyone is quiet and respectful of one another. Mostly classy motor homes and nice 5th wheels/travel trailers. Since each site is on a loop you are not staring at the side of your neighbors trailer when you look out. Each site has a nice open view. Loops A B and C are close to the river but loop D is not. Our kids enjoyed the playground and riding bikes in the park. We truly got the best park here. It is very close to Wenatchee with lots of restaurants, shopping and riverfront walking path. Would gladly stay here again. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Well laid out park with mature landscape. One way roads in and out of the park. Check-in parking spaces are available. We were assigned a paved back-in site in D loop as that is for one night stays. The loops beside the river are for longer stays. D loop is closer to the highway so some noise is noticeable (although trains can be heard from across the river so all sites are affected). Our site was fairly level, but I noticed a couple adjacent sites that had frost heaves in the pavement. Some of the pads had recently been repaved so they are working on it. All the hookups worked fine. Wi-Fi signal was strong and steady. No cable TV and only one network channel (PBS) found off the antenna. Overall a very nice park that I would stay at again if in the area. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.
