The only reason it's not a 10 is the road and train noise. Very big rig friendly. Great location for exploring the valley. Would definetly come back here. Paved spaces with full hookups. Unfortunately our satelite would not work, guess it was the tree next to us, but we had lots of OTA channels and strong Verizon. I could never get connected to their wi-fi. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with paved roads, a lot of trees, well manicured lawns, is very well maintained and right on the river. The sites are long, level and wide. Our Dish satellite worked fine, but they also offer cable (which we didn't use). They offer free Wifi, but we never could connect. Our only problem was the highway and train noise....so much we'll not be back. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park seems typical with other county parks around the country - it is spacious, full of big shade trees and convenient. Price is more than reasonable for full hook-ups and the utilities all worked very well. Good water pressure, strong Verizon signal, and a nice river running behind the park. Our only complaint would be the noise from the road in front of the park and the trains on the other side of the river. Both quieted down at night though; we slept with our windows open. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park next to the river. Lots of grass and trees. Sites are spacious. If you can get into one of the loops, the sites are pie-shaped which means there's a lot of room between RVs. The only negative was the train tracks across the river, though the nearest crossing was a little past the park so the whistle wasn't too bad and there wasn't a lot of train traffic at night. Great location to explore the area. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park that is only 6 miles west of Wenatchee on Hwy 2 (97) in a small community called Monitor. Don't try and use the street address in your GPS, because it won't work. Trust me.

The park has large sites with lots of grass and tree coverage. It is well maintained and check in was easy. The only downside as noted on other reviews is the proximity to the hwy and railway, but the noise wasn't too bad. We stayed on Sire 42 which is a pull through, but the approach is a bit awkward especially if pulling a vehicle. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We spent the weekend in your travel trailer in space no. 6 and we really enjoyed this park. The staff is very friendly and the park is very clean with ample space between RVs making for a very relaxing location. The only downside might be the sound of the trains that pass along the river, but after a few runs you barely notice it. We look forward to returning to park again and the fishing from the river bank was very good. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We did a short 30 minute car ride to visit the cute Bavarian themed city of Leveanworth, WA. We also enjoyed just sitting on the river bank in chairs and cooling off in the water. Our kids liked the play structure and riding their bikes. They have good access into and out of the park by the guests via a key card they give you upon checkin and WiFi worked great.

Wow! This is a beautiful park! The only flaw is the heavy traffic along the highway and the occasional train. Green grass everywhere, right on the river and long, level paved sites shaded by mature trees. Excellent park Wifi and good Verizon signal. Reservations recommended in summer. Popular--for good reason. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We pull a 43 ft. fifth wheel with an F350 pickup. This is an amazingly beautiful park right on The Wenatchee River and a few miles out of town. The park is right beside US Hwy 97 & US Hwy 2. We had a great site #9. To avoid hwy noise you want to be on area A, B or C. There is a seasonal workers residence on the south side of the park. It is very clean and we experienced no noise from that area. Our site was perfect - set up so the long sides of our rig face North and South which is what you want in the summer time. Entry into park is very easy. Like most parks it offers several types of sites. We are in a premium site which backs up to the river and faces a huge green lawn. Lanes and sites are macadam surrounded by huge areas of grass and very tall trees. Utilities work well. There is no cable TV but Satellite works well. Propane is sold in park. WiFI is good. AT&T Cell service is good. Verizon Broadband is good. Dog park is big and all grass but not fenced. No Pool but nice. small beach on the river. RV park sits right on the river with sandy beaches -great for tubing. This is a great park to just sit back and relax. Nice play area for kids - No Bugs. Will definitely return for a much longer stay. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Paved roads & sites. The circle arrangement leaves wide open space on the patio side. All utilities were easy to connect to & worked as expected. Good ATT cell service. We were in B loop & wifi worked good. All sites have picnic table & fire ring. Our site patio opened onto a wide open view of the Wenatchee River. Train noise on other side of river was not a problem. A really big plus, you can wash your coach at your site. Staff was friendly, informative & professional. Next year this park will be a "smoke free" park. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We pulled in and the girl at the counter was not friendly at all. Most RV Parks have one pull up in front of the office. This one requires that you park a little ways off in 2 designated lanes. Once we started talking to the girl, she got a little friendlier. The park itself is beautiful and well kept. However there are so many rules that it sounds like nothing is allowed. It does not have a good dog walk and seems unfriendly to dogs as well. If your dog barks twice, they can kick you out. They also say to never leave your dog, which if you want to do anything at all, makes it impossible to leave the campsite. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

A nice county park, fairly convenient but some road noise. Right next to Wenatchee River. Plenty of places to walk. Pets on leash of course. There is a migrant camp right next to this park which was not in use when we were here. Very friendly staff and they work very hard to keep park looking good. We would stay again. Very nice park. I liked the way the sites were laid out in the loops. They are angled in relation to each other, so you don't feel like it's a parking lot. There is a lot of openness between sites. A little highway and railroad noise, but not bad. We had a great river view out the back window of our trailer. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful park. A few trains and some road noise. The park is in two parts. The long time campers that work are seperate so weekday mornings are quiet in the recreational section. We found dog poop on our site. This appears to be an exception. Welcoming host was very friendly. This park is an outstanding value. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

After October 1st you get a PPA discount. The park is just along the highway so some noise but not too bad at night. Just across the park are the train tracks: when it comes you will feel it and hear it, it blows its horns several times, that was a downside for us. No reception on you antenna but you can borrow dvd's for free, and they have a lot of choice. Free WiFi but spotty. Park looks awesome, huge sites with trees and lots of grass. If it was not for the train it would have got a higher rating. Be sure to make reservations. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.
