Beautiful park with good space between sites. The girl who checked us in was unfriendly and uninterested in helping us with planning our stay. We used 30 amp instead of the available 50 amp because it showed it was not properly ground. When we asked the maintenance man he said just use it you will be okay he was nice about it but unwilling to fix the problem. The park sits between a very busy hi way and train tracks it was extremely noise. Loved the area and the river with the fall colors was beautiful. The art and sculptures around the park is a nice touch. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Beautifully maintained park with lots of manicured grassy areas. Pride of ownership and management is evident in this county owned park which is by far the most beautiful county park we have stayed at in 15 years of RVing. Wide access roads, level paved sites, several beautiful sculptures and murals scattered throughout the park. Good distance between sites. Excellent power, water pressure, WiFi (free) and Verizon. Very friendly staff. Most of the sites are located in one of four loops although there are three pull through sites (#41-43), four water and electric only (#44-47) and two dry camp sites (#48-49) that are not in the loops. Two large, clean commercial washers and dryers. Propane and firewood available. Huge dog run (dogs allowed off leash in the run if under control but run is only fenced on three sides). Price reflects weekly rate (7th night free). Small number of RV storage sites available for $75/month. Plenty of room on our site in D Loop for our 40' motorhome and Jeep Wrangler. We would have rated this park a 10 but didn't because of traffic noise from Hwy 97. If you stay in any of the other loops you'll be further from the highway and closer to the river. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. Big grassy sites, with lots of shade trees, right on the beautiful river. The office has books, movies to borrow, and lots of good information. The campground itself is located in an excellent area, near Leavenworth, Wenatchee, and all the interesting things to do there. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

So clean and quiet! Beautiful setting along the river. There is some road noise on the North side and train comes by on the other side of the river, but it is mellowed out by the river sound. No store or shopping within walking distance but plenty within a 5-10 minute drive. The only oddity is the pay showers....we enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this park. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

You know what they say, location, location, location. This is a beautifully treed, spacious rv park adjacent to the Wenatchee river. Hookups are modern and well placed. The park is very secure and well supervised. I could be a premier rv destination......except for being located right next to interstate hwy #2. For most of the day you are subjected to the constant roar of the freeway. It subsides during evening hours slightly. Wenatchee is only a short drive but traffic is bumper to bumper in and out. There is lots to do and see once in the city, but getting there is not half the fun. The park itself offers minimal activity and recreation. There are no walking trails nearby and the freeway holds you captive. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park with paved roads, a lot of trees, well manicured lawns, is very well maintained and right on the river. The sites are long, level and wide. Our Dish satellite worked fine, but they also offer cable (which we didn't use). They offer free Wifi, but we never could connect. Our only problem was the highway and train noise....so much we'll not be back. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The only reason it's not a 10 is the road and train noise. Very big rig friendly. Great location for exploring the valley. Would definetly come back here. Paved spaces with full hookups. Unfortunately our satelite would not work, guess it was the tree next to us, but we had lots of OTA channels and strong Verizon. I could never get connected to their wi-fi. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park that is only 6 miles west of Wenatchee on Hwy 2 (97) in a small community called Monitor. Don't try and use the street address in your GPS, because it won't work. Trust me.

The park has large sites with lots of grass and tree coverage. It is well maintained and check in was easy. The only downside as noted on other reviews is the proximity to the hwy and railway, but the noise wasn't too bad. We stayed on Sire 42 which is a pull through, but the approach is a bit awkward especially if pulling a vehicle. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park next to the river. Lots of grass and trees. Sites are spacious. If you can get into one of the loops, the sites are pie-shaped which means there's a lot of room between RVs. The only negative was the train tracks across the river, though the nearest crossing was a little past the park so the whistle wasn't too bad and there wasn't a lot of train traffic at night. Great location to explore the area. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park seems typical with other county parks around the country - it is spacious, full of big shade trees and convenient. Price is more than reasonable for full hook-ups and the utilities all worked very well. Good water pressure, strong Verizon signal, and a nice river running behind the park. Our only complaint would be the noise from the road in front of the park and the trains on the other side of the river. Both quieted down at night though; we slept with our windows open. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We pull a 43 ft. fifth wheel with an F350 pickup. This is an amazingly beautiful park right on The Wenatchee River and a few miles out of town. The park is right beside US Hwy 97 & US Hwy 2. We had a great site #9. To avoid hwy noise you want to be on area A, B or C. There is a seasonal workers residence on the south side of the park. It is very clean and we experienced no noise from that area. Our site was perfect - set up so the long sides of our rig face North and South which is what you want in the summer time. Entry into park is very easy. Like most parks it offers several types of sites. We are in a premium site which backs up to the river and faces a huge green lawn. Lanes and sites are macadam surrounded by huge areas of grass and very tall trees. Utilities work well. There is no cable TV but Satellite works well. Propane is sold in park. WiFI is good. AT&T Cell service is good. Verizon Broadband is good. Dog park is big and all grass but not fenced. No Pool but nice. small beach on the river. RV park sits right on the river with sandy beaches -great for tubing. This is a great park to just sit back and relax. Nice play area for kids - No Bugs. Will definitely return for a much longer stay. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow! This is a beautiful park! The only flaw is the heavy traffic along the highway and the occasional train. Green grass everywhere, right on the river and long, level paved sites shaded by mature trees. Excellent park Wifi and good Verizon signal. Reservations recommended in summer. Popular--for good reason. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

We spent the weekend in your travel trailer in space no. 6 and we really enjoyed this park. The staff is very friendly and the park is very clean with ample space between RVs making for a very relaxing location. The only downside might be the sound of the trains that pass along the river, but after a few runs you barely notice it. We look forward to returning to park again and the fishing from the river bank was very good. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We did a short 30 minute car ride to visit the cute Bavarian themed city of Leveanworth, WA. We also enjoyed just sitting on the river bank in chairs and cooling off in the water. Our kids liked the play structure and riding their bikes. They have good access into and out of the park by the guests via a key card they give you upon checkin and WiFi worked great.

We pulled in and the girl at the counter was not friendly at all. Most RV Parks have one pull up in front of the office. This one requires that you park a little ways off in 2 designated lanes. Once we started talking to the girl, she got a little friendlier. The park itself is beautiful and well kept. However there are so many rules that it sounds like nothing is allowed. It does not have a good dog walk and seems unfriendly to dogs as well. If your dog barks twice, they can kick you out. They also say to never leave your dog, which if you want to do anything at all, makes it impossible to leave the campsite. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Paved roads & sites. The circle arrangement leaves wide open space on the patio side. All utilities were easy to connect to & worked as expected. Good ATT cell service. We were in B loop & wifi worked good. All sites have picnic table & fire ring. Our site patio opened onto a wide open view of the Wenatchee River. Train noise on other side of river was not a problem. A really big plus, you can wash your coach at your site. Staff was friendly, informative & professional. Next year this park will be a "smoke free" park. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.
