Overall Rating:

This campground is a bargain. The nightly rate gets you an electric and water hookup, and there is a dump station at the southwest exit. The back-in sites along the south edge have a little shade. There are no trees elsewhere, the sun can be intense, and the driveways are dusty. In mid-July only about 1/5 of the sites were occupied when we where there Monday thru Wednesday. If all the sites were full it would be very crowded and no one would have any privacy. There are many convenient shopping opportunities just to the east (but too far to walk) including two major grocery stores and a super Walmart. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

With only 30 amp power, and no significant shade, I would not want to stay here if the daytime temperature is above 75.

Stayed for two nights while in the area. No events were going on at the fairgrounds. Same comments as previous posters. OK place for a few nights. Host was on site at the East entrance. Just pick a site and pay. Lots of places to pull through. The race track next door had car and motorcycle practice in the late afternoon and early evening. Probably very noisy on the weekends. I would stay again midweek due to convenience and location. Easy drive along Highway 2 into Everett, WA. Good grocery stores and gas stations very close. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

County run park that uses Reserve American. gravel lots, mostly level, good water, and power, dump available grounds big sites. Sanakans are all we saw for a restroom other than a walk to Fairgrounds. The site was marked reserved upon arrival. Never saw the host, but didn't need to find either. Speedway is right next door, so a weekend stay is going to be noisy. We came for the Red Bull GRC. Staying here made it easy to enjoy the event, and no one needed to be a DD for the weekend. Would stay here again for an event. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

After searching for the RV campground, which was not signed, I called the fairgrounds during their regular business hours, but they did not answer. They did eventually return my call at ten AM the next day. I ,along with two other people in RVs, finally found the site. They had tried to call also, but with no success. I stayed in campsite 213. When I arrived another person was in my site. The camp host was nowhere to be found so I spent the first night in site 214. The next day the "host" was still nowhere to be found. Finally the site i was supposed to be in was vacated. I moved over. The tree behind my site had branches sticking in to my space, and it did not allow me to fit in to the space all the way. I parked a little ways out in to the lane that circled the campground. The site was level, and gravel with no pot holes. The utilities box was in good repair, as were the hydrants. There were no clear site boundaries, but there were some faded chalk lines. People with dogs off leash were prominent, despite the signs stating dogs must be on leash. The sites were lit by street lights, and the lights did not turn off. This made it difficult to sleep at night. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

We reserve the same site 2 to 3 times a year to attend races at the adjacent Evergreen Motor Speedway. If you don't like racing noise, avoid this place on weekends. This is a fairgrounds so no tables or fire pits, but sites are wide, clearly marked and most will easily accommodate large rigs. Minimal leveling will be required on most sites. The host, a lovely lady, is the most accommodating and helpful you will find. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have never attended an auto race before and are here on a weekend in season, give them a try, the speedway is a great facility.

This is a fairgrounds RV park, but it is very clean and the sites are reasonably level. There is electric and water at every site and a dump station nearby. There is motocross practice in the afternoons but it stops at 9:00 PM sharp and on the weekends there is auto racing but there is no road noise. There are trains that run nearby. This is a good place to stop if you need a park in the Everett, Seattle area. Most of the time there are only two or three other rigs in the area. We have stayed here many times when we visit friends in the area and will stay here again. We camped at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.
