We came after September 15th, which means it is all first come, first served. Easy to find a premium wooded site with water and power. Very nice overall. The non-premium sites are basically a gravel parking lot, but many also have water an power. Appears to be well maintained, with a friendly volunteer host. Limited office hours. We bought a Senior Off-Season pass while we were here - great value. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

I reserved an individual and group site for a company outing. The sites located on the north side of the campground have plenty of room. Water and electric are avaible. There is a dump site next to the campground. The pay showers are clean. There are bike and hiking trails. The lake although crowded is fine for families. Dependent on your site satellite tv is achievable. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

7.6 miles of biking trails. 8.6 miles of hiking trails. Boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, birdwatching available. There is a grill which serves hotdogs, burgers, pizza and they have ice. Campfire wood is available also. The group site could easily fit 30 people with tents. The group kitchen is covered and has running water and 120 plug outlets.

Nice State Park. We were in the newer section with water/electric. All utilities worked well. AT&T and Verizon worked. No satellite coverage. Nice long pull-thru sites with utilities are "premium" so a little more expensive. Worth it. There is a lake that is a ways from the campground. Probably the only thing we didn't like (besides not having sewer) was how many occupants they allow on each site. There were many tents/rigs/vehicles that just made the place look packed. It was a good location for us to explore Olympia. Probably wouldn't stay there again. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

October 7- Nice, quiet older State park just south of Olympia. RV's has two options; gravel sites in the trees or paved site in the field. Good power and water. Clean restrooms and showers take tokens. Good Verizon and MIFI signal. Lots of trails to walk. Sewer dump is on the way out of the Park. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a jewel. We didn't spend that much time here, since we were visiting friends nearby. However, we did walk around, and enjoyed the mornings here. The rv/hookups area is newer and a little separate from but contiguous with the tent camping areas. All of it is amidst the towering conifers and rich temperate rainforest that is Washington. Love this place and want to go back. It's water and electric - no serwer, so keep that in mind. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We just stayed one night on our way south, but if we'd had more time we would have enjoyed exploring the many trails at this pretty park. We arrived in the dark and were dismayed to find a log gate across the entrance road with a sign saying the park closed at dusk! I had checked online to make sure the park was open for camping year round. My husband got out of the truck and discovered that the gate was not locked and could be opened to allow campers in or out. The gate is merely to deter non-campers from coming into the park when closed to day visitors. We camped in the open area in order to have an electric/water hook-up. Very dark and quiet so it made for a good night's rest. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Travel Trailer.

I had to get some advice from the hosts regarding the "PB" code at my site (sites are priced differently, depending upon popularity and other factors). Campground is in a pretty area, surrounded by forest. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate includes on-line reservation fee. There are plenty of big trees making the access road is a little tight for big rigs, but it is passable with care. Spaces 203 through 211 are under big trees making satellite reception difficult. Spaces 212 through 238 are mostly in a clear open area. Spaces are gravel. Spaces closer together than we have experienced in state parks in other states. AT&T signal adequate for voice calls. The park is served by two cell sites – one LTE and the other 4G. If you can link up to the LTE site, data works great. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

Price reflects limited income senior pass. An old CCC park but still nice. As the weather was gloomy and cold, I chose to stay in the hookup area, which is like a parking lot, with paved, level sites with water and electric but no privacy. There is grass between the sites and picnic tables. The woodsy sites were more attractive-looking but perhaps not very level. Great trail system affording a nice, long, but easy hike. Didn't use the restrooms. Would return but would choose to stay in the no-hookup area with more seclusion and scenery. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very pleasant park fairly close (about 15 minutes) from Interstate 5, so a good stop-over park for a night or two. The hook-up sites (water and electric) are in a cleared area. There are a few sites with enough view of the sky to get satellite, but only a few. The sites are large and easy to maneuver. Even though it is not far from the Interstate, neither our Verizon phone nor MiFi worked – not a strong enough signal. We had to drive almost all of the way back to the Interstate to get service. There is a camp host who was very helpful and friendly. It is nice and dark and quiet at night, so some good sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful Park! We're new to camping and had the most wonderful time. We're early in the year, so not many people camped in the park. Very quiet, lots of room and good play areas for the kids. We will definitely visit again. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Tent Trailer.

This is a camping experience, not an RV park. No TV or internet service available. Sites are nice, large, some pull-through. A few were flooded in places when we were there since it had rained recently. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

There are 120 tent spaces and 48 utility spaces. The rate shown is the rate for utility spots. Some are pull through, and some are back-in. The "standard" (tent only) spaces are limited to 35 feet due to the park's tight, narrow roadways in the standard campsite section. Most of the utility spots at this state park are on paved asphalt pads. The paved pads, which are relatively level, are all "out in the open" with the pull-throughs in the center. There are a few utility spots among the trees, but those are on gravel/dirt. The "standard" spots are on dirt among the trees. Although the utility sites don't have a "defined" tent area, you could squeeze a very small tent in. This state park specifically has a rule that allows only one RV/trailer per spot. I don't know if this applies to tents. Each camping spot (to include the "standard" spots) has a fire ring and picnic table. The picnic tables appear to be made from recycled material that is pretty rugged and long lasting. To use the restrooms/shower area, you need tokens to get in the door. At state parks, I usually use my own facilities, so I didn't check the conditions of the restrooms and showers. Television reception is fuzzy via antenna if you don't have a satellite, even if you have an HD TV. There is a pay phone available if your cell phone doesn't get a signal. During the winter, the water faucets are winterized and not available for use. During winter, the only place to get potable water is near the RV dump station. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Motorhome.

I have camped here many times and enjoy Millersylvania. I do have to say the only drawback is the small aircraft that fly over from time to time... I find the hosts very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are always clean, lots of trails to walk on and dog friendly. I go usually after the camping season is over and find it very serene and quiet. We camped at Millersylvania State Park in a Travel Trailer.
