It's a gravel parking lot basically. All stalls are back in which isn't a huge issue, hook ups are directly behind each spot, we had to go buy a sewer extension which we've never had to do at any other park. Some spaces look level but we also had to go buy more blocks to place under the back end because it drops majorly in the back, plus putting some under the tires just to be able to empty our tanks (again at such a slope). You are packed in like sardines. I'd hate to see this place during busy season with people coming/going. All vehicles are required to park parallel in front of the camper, definitely not enough room to park next to them if someone is there. They have an overflow space for a second vehicle but it's a trek located in their storage area if you are anywhere but right next to it. They allow others to do one thing, but say you can't when you ask, which I can not stand in a campground, very poor taste. Staff is somewhat friendly. There are trees and grass, but it's down at the back part of their property near the storage parking as well. They have a dog run but didn't use it either. I really wouldn't stay here again just for the simple fact of others are allowed to do one thing, but then they say no when you ask. Not a good place to stay with kids either since there isn't much in park stuff to do, no playground. Small open field down at the back part again where storage is. Close to town/freeway. No laundry. And only 1 picnic table per entire row. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is in the suburb of Olympia within easy access to the city. The interior roads are on asphalt and all the sites are on crushed rock. Some of the sites are level most are not. Almost all of the sites are back-ins and can accommodate large rigs. All of the utilities are located in the back of the sites. Depending upon the size of you rig you might need an extra sewer hose or two. The utility box contained 20/30 amp electrical service. The voltage was good, hovering around 121volts. The clubhouse has a bathroom that can only be used when it is not rented out. The bathroom located in the office can be used only during office hours. There are no showers or laundry facilities on site. Campground WiFi was usable but kept losing its connection even though we were next to the repeater. Cable TV, picnic tables and fire rings are not provided. Verizon air card was slow. Verizon cell phone was OK. For some reason the office personnel puts most of the RVer's in the first two rows while the other rows remain empty. The sites are narrow and have a crowded feeling when the row is filled. The club house is open from 9 AM until 8 PM. It has a large book exchange and one pool table. All of the pool sticks were missing their cushion tips. There is also a dump station and an area to wash your vehicle. We would come back to this park if we were in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Tightest spaces we have ever encountered? Our awning almost touched our neighbor's rig. Had to walk down near clubhouse to get wifi. No frills here. nevertheless, it was quiet enough and for the price, it served our needs very well. Would stay here again. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

The park is fine, the customer service and rule structure is not.

There was great confusion about check-in time which caused a huge inconvenience all for the sake of rules and not necessity. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed two weeks in this park and it was quiet, clean and secure. The only reason I do not give it a 10 is due to lack of any mostly common services. It would have been nice to be able to at least get ice on site but overall the location is close to shopping. Going off site to do laundry is a bit of a hassle but not so difficult it changed our rating much. The people were extremely nice and helpful. We will be back soon for sure. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Seattle is just a short trip away. All the big box stores are close by. Groceries are only minutes away. The park is nestled in a clean residential setting with security gates out front. WiFi is a bit touchy but was available most of the time.

Overall Rating:

As others have said, this is basically a gravel parking lot with water, sewer and up to 30 amp service. All utilities are in the back and depending upon which side you are on, the utilities may or may not be on the correct side. We just needed an extension to our sewer hose to make it work. We were given the widest site for our 40 ft RV and it worked ok but we had to park in front of the RV due to our 4 slides. It wasn't crowded, so no one was next to us, but I did wonder if the rigs at the end of the row would be able to get out, as our car was in front of our RV and the 5th wheel across the way had his truck in front. When we left, it was not an issue, as no one was in our row. Although no table at the site, there are tables over by the trail if you want to picnic or grill. That's the worst part of it. The staff is very nice in the office. There is a trail to a lower area where there is a big grass lawn and trees and even a small dog park. It was a great place to walk the dog, as there was no where in the Gravel Jungle to walk him. On the good side.. this place is close to Lacey and less than 2 miles to LOTS of amenities like stores, a HUGE community dog park, Costco and more. It also is close to Olympia and bike trails. From a location standpoint it is great. We stayed 5 nites and although at first I thought it was really bad, it really wasn't that bad. Just not any amenities. Also, it was the quietest place we have ever stayed. There was a train that we could hear in the distance in the evening but overnight it was extremely quiet. Verizon cell and air card worked very well here and satellite was no problem. We'd probably stay here again due to the location and the cost was extremely reasonable. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 weeks while visiting my son, who is stationed at JBLM. For that purpose, it is the best location. The price is reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. But that's about the extent of anything good to be said about this place. As noted, it is just a gravel parking lot: no grass, no trees, no tables, no patios. The sites are so narrow that awnings come within inches of the adjacent RV. Tow vehicles/toads have to park cheek-to-jowl in front of the RVs. The restrooms in the main hall are available only if the hall is not booked for use by some group. There's no laundry and the nearest laundromat is miles away. Electric is 30-amp only. No cable TV and over-the-air is limited. The sewer hookup defies a sanitary connection, which causes everyone to gently place the sewer hose elbow on the pipe and balance rocks on top of it hope for some kind of a seal. The WiFi is terrible, so bad that at check-in we were told where we could go to get decent Internet. And down the road is a mushroom farm. Remember that old joke about "I must be a mushroom because they keep me in the dark and feed me ..." (I think the joke ends with a synonym for manure)? Well, whatever they feed mushrooms, the smell frequently wafts over the campground and it's not pleasant. And to top it all off, while we were there was a triple drug-related homicide just down the street in one of the numerous trailer parks that surround the facility. Next time, we'll suffer a longer drive and look for a better place. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Home Depot, and other such stores within a few minutes. And the Puerto Vallarta Mexican restaurant is one of the best we've been to, although the portions are gargantuan!

This park is totally gravel with no trees except along one side to block the park from the neighborhood. On the other side is a modular home neighborhood. Sterile is the word that comes to mind. It was adequate and the price was good, but I would pay a little more someplace else next time. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

The park was built for trailer traffic and we had to purchase an extension for the sewer hookup because everything is at the back of each site.

Toilets available only during daytime in both clubhouses. 2 clubhouses, billiards, card tables, library, stage all available. Both dry & electric storage areas also available for RV's. Price very reasonable. At first look it appears to be an old drive in Movie Theater. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hook ups are all in the rear of our 5th wheel; we did not hook up sewer for 2 nights and when leaving dumped at their dump easily. There is a large grassy area which also appears to be storage for many Airstreams. Park was fairly empty; understood it was going to be full the following week fine for us. Good location for Rainer and Olympia. Great Cabalas in Olympia; you have to check out. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Fifth Wheel.

Basically a gravel lot with hook-ups. We were after hours arrival. Payment by check only (No CC). Needed to ask another camper for password for WiFi as flyer did not have the info. Quick in and out which was Ok since we were late to arrive and early to leave. Would stay again. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

Stayed here a few days while friends were visiting in Lacey. The park is in a quiet residential neighborhood close to shopping, gas stations, etc. It is basically a large gravel parking lot with hook ups located in the rear of the site. We stayed in a couple of short pull-thrus under some large trees next to the office. (I think there were only 3 or 4 pull thrus.) The staff members were pleasant. The park is clean and well maintained, all hook ups worked well. Would stay here again. We camped at Washington Land Yacht Harbor in a Motorhome.

This is basically a parking lot. It has the basic amenities and we were able to run the dogs off leash in the neighbouring field. It's quiet and close to a shopping and the fairgrounds. It's an Airstream club park but nonmembers are allowed to park here. It was close to the location of a seminar I was attending. We would stay here again.
