Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Omak City campground, good place for overnight stop, no cable, WIFI ok, pull through are level could use some tree trimming, now charge $25.00, should be more like $20.00. Repaved pull through couple years ago 2 feet wider would of been great. Area around utilities muddy would of been great it they paved it when doing the pad, do it right the first time. Will return. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $25.00
Very clean, full hook ups, Sunny spots and shady spots, very reasonably priced, paved spots. They now have Wi-Fi, there is about 12 t.v. stations available from antenna. Can't reserve but can always get a spot. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Tips for other Campers:
Walking distance to downtown, swimming pool in park.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Campground located near the Stampede grounds. Could use better signage on the park roads to the campground. Self registration in effect. Rates for full hookup sites reduced this year. 12 of the 68 sites are paved pull-throughs with shared hookups. The rest are back-ins along with 5 tent sites. Our site was very level. Due to shared hookups no privacy with adjacent site. Two picnic tables to share with the adjacent site on the other side. Water hookup was stripped so had to use the other site's tap. Very few campers in the park so that wasn't a problem. Otherwise electric and sewer were fine. Plenty of shade from mature trees. Wi-Fi was fairly strong at first and was even able to use Skype, but got bogged down later due to traffic. No cable TV, but there were 5 networks from the antenna. Sports events and gatherings on the Stamped grounds made for plenty of visits to the campground bathrooms. Still it was fairly quiet and we would have no hesitation in returning to this park. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Walmart is 2 miles away. Big event here is the Omak Stampede and Suicide Race on the second weekend of August.
This is a very clean, city-owned park with nice shady, roomy sites. Most sites will accommodate a big rig such as our 4-slide, 40' RV. We chose a back-in site ($30); but the pull-throughs ($35) were just as long. Payment is at a kiosk; no host on site. For dog owners, there's an enclosed Wag and Run, off leash area. Mosquitoes were a bit of a problem, but spray and wind worked well. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Motorhome.
We were going to stay here based on reviews, but after a drive through we decided to head further north. To us this is a crowded parking lot with sites very close to each other - not a good fit for our family of 6 with small kids. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $20.00
This park provides excellent value. Well maintained, roomy sites at a very reasonable cost. The only complaint I have which lowered my rating from a 9 or 10 is the limited public washroom facilities. I can live without wifi occasionally. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Older campsite but nice. Right beside the stampede grounds and river, close to city center. Some paved pads, some pull thrus, only the pull thrus are big rig friendly, the rest are tight or impossible. Washrooms were clean but are open to the general public. Services can be difficult to hook up to due to their configuration. Reasonably priced ($20). We will be staying here again. Max stay is 5 days. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $7.00
Water and Sewer not available during our stay. Bathrooms closed as well. Full hookup not available until around beginning of April. Self registration in effect. Paid and dropped money in deposit slot, but someone still came around during the night and left another envelope for me to fill in. This also happened a couple of summers ago. Don't know why whoever does this doesn't check the deposit slot first. Roads around rv park falling apart due to hard winter. Guess I was lucky; park was even open as nothing else was available except Walmart parking lot. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Motorhome.
Quiet, clean with plenty of shade trees. Paved sites with lots of grass. Good satellite TV reception. RV and car washing OK. Great place to stay. We camped at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park in a Motorhome.
