This is a pretty basic campground, no frills, however the hookup fees were high considering there was no sewer or cable. Tent campers nearby. Beautiful location, though, on the waterfront. We'd stay again, though, when visiting Wenatchee as most of the other campgrounds filled up pretty quick. We camped at Orondo River Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Located next to the Columbia River this park has grassy areas and picnic tables. There is swimming allowed in the river and kayaks, peddle oats and stand up boars available to rent. The sites are grassy and level but rather close together. Electric and water hookups only with no dump station in the park. The bathrooms and showers are adequate and relatively clean. Since there are quite a few tent sites, the restrooms are in heavy use. The hostess was exceptionally skilled in customer service and went out of her way to be helpful. The available WiFi could be used near the office only, but there is a table set and some chairs nearby that you can use while online. We camped at Orondo River Park in a Truck Camper.

Overall Rating:

Simple, plain park next to the Columbia River. The 13 parallel RV sites are either grass or gravel with sun or shade, depending on the site. Water and electric hookups; no sewer and no dump station. Very clean park setting with boat ramps, lots of grassy areas but close to Highway 97 and fairly noisy. Verizon 4G service good but OTA television was primarily PBS (7 of the 10 channels). Dog friendly. No apparent restrictions on washing vehicles. I would stay here again. We camped at Orondo River Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Within an hour of Leavenworth but few other attractions besides the Columbia River and boating opportunities. Best for an overnight, in-transit stay.

Overall Rating:

Stayed two days/nights. Park is located between Highway 97 and the Columbia River. It is located next to a boat ramp. There are 13 RV sites, 14 tent sites and 12 moorage slips for boats. The hosts were friendly. Big wide 60 ft dead end exterior road with back in sites that are easy to get into with someone “back in challenged”. Sites are grass or gravel. 30/50 amp electric, water, but no sewer. Plus no dump station at the park. Tree branches in some sites for big rigs needed to be cut back. Suppose to have Wi-Fi at the office/store but when we tried it the first night it won't connect. Didn't even try the second night. Got seven channels off the TV antenna, most of them being PBS. Had road noise due to the highway. The female host came by the 2nd afternoon and told us we had to pay $8. a night for our extra vehicle. My wife refused to pay because when she called and made the reservation, whomever she talked to she told them we had 25 ft HDT, 35 ft 5th wheel trailer and a car. Nothing was said about the extra fee. Leaving the park the entrance/exit is interesting due to a orange cone chained down in the middle. Had to use the entrance to get out running over the chained cone. We camped at Orondo River Park in a Fifth Wheel.
