This is a large park with plenty of space, and a site on the river is pretty. The bathrooms offer only one shower and one toilet per side. Possibly there is poison ivy near the river. The only complaint we have is loud blowing from the factory during the day time work hours. This is good for a one night stay while driving through, but it seems there are many there for weeks at a time and several permanents in modular homes. The phones and jet pack worked well, not so at Bains park, which was too close to the border. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I would rate it higher, but they don't have enough 50 amp sites, and it is really hot there in the summer. Easy access from main road. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Get an area map (not supplied at campground) and drive up into the forests to find cooler temperatures (10 degrees or more) and take a nice hike. There are a lot of lakes in the area for swimming. This park is along a river but it is difficult to access, which is a shame, but there is a beautiful grassy area that runs behind the RV's that is lovely. Hometown pizza makes a good sub and pizza....closed on Sunday.

Great park and a very good value. Many sites are right next to the river. Would definitely stay here again. Stayed here in a 5th wheel. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well-kept, attractive, extremely quiet combination of manufactured homes and RV sites along the Okanogan river. Most of the RV's appear to be long term. There was no one in the office and it said to ring the bell and they would come shortly. I did. They didn't. No self-pay box. I assume that before we leave tomorrow SOMEONE will come ask me for money. The sign said if no one was there to take any site between "31-48", even thought there were more than a dozen unoccupied sites right along the river. No explanation as to why we couldn't have one of those. I was mainly there to do laundry so a site by the laundry room worked better for me anyway but why the riverfront sites weren't available is a mystery. As for the laundry room, there are two washers, exactly the same, but one costs $1.50 and the other $1.00. Go figure. There are two dryers both $1.50 for 90 minutes, take it or leave it, even though it only took 45 minutes to dry the load. And there is only one tiny 3 ft by 3ft table that was covered with books and magazines that I had to move in order to fold. Oh, and no change machine or vending machine so come prepared with coins and detergent. The showers were 50 cents for 8 minutes and were utilitarian at best, not overly appealing. Didn't use them. There's wi-fi but since there was no one in the office to give us the password we couldn't use it. This place is a buck or two cheaper than the state park down the street (using Good Sam), but I think I'd go there instead if I come through here again and don't need the laundry. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

No way is this a resort. It is a very nice RV park, but the only amenity it has is a river and big grass field. The sites are very nice and are gravel with grass between. Good WiFi and cell reception and not far from town. You could walk to visitor's center and some restaurants. Great place to stop after crossing the border. Most sites are back in, but they have some pull thrus, but you better reserve the ahead. Seemed to be the best place in town. Would stay here again. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I don't know if I'd call this Park a "Resort," but it is a nice, clean park. Level, gravel sites, with grass & trees. Sites 43 and 44 are long pull-throughs, with plenty of room for big rigs. Working WiFi, and a soccer field around the corner, which gave my dog a chance to run after many days on a leash. We would stay again. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here the night before crossing over to British Columbia, so we could get through the border early in the day. Our site was one of the only FHU pull-thrus in the park and right next to the entrance. Most of the other spaces were occupied by long-term/seasonal RVs and a dozen or so were occupied by full-time mobile home or park models. So, as mentioned by others, the "resort" label is a bit over-the-top. But it is well-maintained, not like some combination RV/mobile home parks we have been in. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet Park with backins on the bank of the Similkameen river with grassy bank. Only 30 amp service. There are a couple of funky drive-thus by office. There are also a number of park models but they are separate from the RV section. Nice little town with a couple of restaurants and grocery stores. We stayed 2 nites for a break in our driving to Alaska. It was so relaxing we did not want to leave. About half of the RV's here were from British Columbia. Park should be busier - it is really nice. ONLY $27 a night. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 2 nights and that was about right. The river out back is great and swimming or wading is do-able, at least in August. The campground is next to an industrial area that seemed to have been abandoned. Wi-Fi worked quite well. Roadways are clean and manicured, reminded me of an RV park in Palm Springs. Lots of ospreys, turkey vultures, and other birds. Scenery is nice. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very smart RV Park just off the main street (though not particularly well signposted: we missed it first time). Welcoming lady and nice folks as neighbours. It's a clean site, very green, by a fast-flowing river. We'd come here again. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Good value for this beautiful park. Restrooms had large private showers; most sites were along the river; Good Wi-Fi; no cable TV but 2 local HD antenna channels. Very close to town and food store. Many park models here, but the traveling RV's were along the outer edge of the park along the river. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Although we did not have a prior reservation, the owners were very accommodating to our last-minute stay of only one night. The grounds are well-maintained and the park sets next to the Okanogan River close to downtown Oroville. This a quiet park and we chose a "premium site", which affords you a little extra grassy space. All of the sites are full hookup. We very much enjoyed the park and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in this part of Washington. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice clean near city center site, next to river, though it's next to an industrial estate. Site is part RV, part Residential (RVs and mobiles). Efficient owners and all services well organized. Showers & restrooms nearly new and clean & efficient. Good Laundry. Recommended for stopovers/2 day stays but not long term. We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful and clean park. Friendly people and staff. It was our first time here. We happened to visit on the weekend where the park managers had a free barbeque for the whole park. What a wonderful time we had visiting with all the other campers and the managers are so very nice. It was in walking distance of downtown and the restrooms and shower were constantly spotless. We will definitely be back, thank you We camped at Riveroaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
