Rate above is for a week. As others have noted, the new owners (as of May 2015) are wonderful and excited about their park. The campground has two sections, the old section (close to the office) is wooded with mostly back-in sites, and has a number of full-time residents (relatively tidy/clean) in the spaces around the perimeter. The new section is all pull-throughs for big rigs along a hill with no trees. We were in the last site of the new section. This site's camping-side grass area was much smaller than the other pull-throughs (i.e. fairly close to our neighbor), but being the last site meant our curb-side had a nice unobstructed view of the field where the owners' horses grazed every day. Some of the campground's sites were a little close together, but none were right on top of each other, so we were satisfied with the spacing, even for our smallish site. The pond, field, playground and other features gave the park a nice rustic feel. The loop trail and dam trail were great for walking our active dog. The WiFi was unusably slow most of the time, but our Verizon jetpack had excellent signal. Our AT&T phones worked but had a weak signal and slow data speeds. During the day there was some noise from trucks on the nearby highway but at night it was silent. Fire rings are available from the office. We'd definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is just a few miles from the entrance to Olympic National Park's Hurricane Ridge area. If you go, try to wait for a clear day! It was hazy and humid when we went so the views were not as clear.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Planned on one week, turned into two weeks. Long, gravel pull through site with nice large grass patio area. Landscaped natural areas with ponds, walking paths, and owners horses that love apples. Quiet, remote setting, but close to activities. The new owners, a family of 7, are awesome and made our stay outstanding. One of the older children offers dog walking service to pet owners that are out all day exploring. The upper, terraced, pull through sites are ideal for Big Rigs. Would absolutely stay here again. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Access to Olympic National Park is close by, ferry to Canada, downtown Port Angeles, Safeway, Super Walmart close by.

We were met by the park's owners who were extremely nice and friendly. We loved the park's setting and the trails that surrounded it where our dogs could run off leash. We would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Port Angeles. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Enjoy a nice meal at Toga's Soup & Deli just a few miles away. Enjoy the Olympic National Park and beautiful Crescent Beach not too far away.

New owners are great and very helpful. Rate should include cable TV or be reduced. Restrooms & showers dated but clean. Sites are level and have adequate width and good length. One recommendation: join the 21 century and get rid of the quarter showers. On a 2+ month trip, this park was one of only two with pay showers. The nightly rate at the other was $5 less. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park owners/hosts were on vacation so it was self serve which wasn't a problem but because we are 40' + tow we grabbed the first pull through we saw.. Sadly, our satellite did not get any signal. We were already settled so we didn't want to move. Otherwise, we had a great stay. It was centrally located for us to drive to Neah Bay and into Port Angeles. Nice laundry facilities and the grounds are nicely kept. Would most definitely stay again. Only sorry we never met the owners. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used our Good Sam 10% discount. We liked the layout of the sites, terraced on the pull-throughs with back-ins around the perimeter. Wi-Fi was not as good as hoped from previous reviews. Other utilities were fine. Laundry was expensive at $2.50 for a wash and 2.50 for a dry. Nice common area for BBQ and brand new bathrooms & showers (pay per shower) I don't think there is a better location to visit Port Angeles, WA and the NP at Hurricane Ridge. There are lots of local culture here too besides the NP. It's only 5 quick miles to downtown. This park is clean, safe and scenic. We will return if in the area. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed 5 nights. Very nice campground and long time family owned. May be going thru ownership change in near future. Sites rustic and clean. Great location for Olympic National Park which is what we wanted. Also ferry to Victoria right there did day trip. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are more closely spaced than I'd like, though at least as good as the norm for commercial campgrounds. Wi-Fi is unusually good. Well kept attractive park in a fun area to visit. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. We stayed in a site up on the hill. It was very long and level with gravel. There is plenty of room between sites in this area. Be advised, there are many tent campers in this area also. If that is a problem you will want a lower site, but those sites are closer together. This campground has the best Wi-Fi we have experienced anywhere. The owner gave us 15% discount as a Good Sam's member. This is more than the usual 10%. We would stay there again. We camped 7 days in a 39' rig. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice campsite and in fact better than we had anticipated. We had a long site pull thru at the top of the park with a large grass area and picnic table. Tarmac roads and level gravel site. No cable TV, the wifi/internet could be flaky but was adequate. The restrooms/showers and laundry/club house were excellent, very clean and neat. It is just 3 miles from the lovely town of Port Angeles and The Olympic National Park. It is also walking distance from the Elwha Dam Site, the biggest dam removal site in USA. We certainly recommend. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good location to visit Olympic National Park. We reserved a pull-though, but was assigned space 14 which is ONLY a pull-through if the spaces behind it are vacant, which they were not. So we had to back in. There was barely enough space to park our little tow car. If you really want a pull-through, quiz them when you make your reservations. If you are larger than 40', it is tight. Wi-Fi worked well. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

New & Improved is a great way to describe this park. They recently lengthened, terraced, and leveled quite a few pull-throughs. And they built new restrooms and a really nice laundry room/lounge. New machines that are very quiet. Access roads are a bit narrow, but still navigable. Park is off the main drag so it's quiet. Good place to stay! We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park a few miles out of town. People were friendly and helpful. The spot we had was tight but doable. They had larger sites but since we had a small motorhome we didn't need it. The rest rooms and laundry are brand new, well designed and beautiful. The only downside we had was the spot we were in was not level enough. If you had power levelers there would be no issue but we don't. Great place and we would stay here again. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Centrally located park for exploring the northern part of the Olympic National Park. Pull-thru and back in sites available. Sites are fairly spacious. WiFi not that great. Laundry is expensive at $2.50 for each wash and dry. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.
