This is a very small RV park (about a dozen spaces) associated with a motel & cabins. The property itself is also small. RV spaces are behind the motel & office and face the water on the Hood Canal with a really a beautiful view. The manager who checked us in was really friendly & helpful. All-in-all a delightful place to stay. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Fifth Wheel.

We were a bit concerned as we tried to call ahead, but the calls weren't answered and didn't go to an answering machine and so we continued with the expectation that we might have to make other arrangements. On arrival we were warmly greeted and given an excellent site. The road is paved and the pads are concrete. While we did have to unhook as all sites are backins, there was ample place to park. Nearly all the sites face the water, so motorhomes have a great unobstructed windshield view of the water. The sites are behind the motel so most of the road noise is muted. There is a gas grill for use by customers. There is a small selection of toiletries and snacks available for sale at the office. A grocery store is located about 2 miles north on 101. This is a fairly small park, but the sites are nicely spaced and angled so as to not feel confined. WiFi was excellent and surprisingly fast. There are 2 washers and dryers in the locked laundry room. $1.50 wash/25 cents for 10 minutes to dry. We would come here again if in the area. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Travel Trailer.

This is our favorite park. We are having a hard time exploring other parks because we are scared it can't compare. Spots are close but angled in a way that creates some privacy. Site 12 is the best. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

This is a very small RV park right in front of the water. It's clean, has the basics, and is conveniently located. Over-priced, however, in my opinion. I wouldn't go back for this reason. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Sequim and visit the Game Park with your kids -- they'll love it! You can drive through it, feed the bison, deer, and other animals... Plus there are lots of hiking trails in the peninsula driving distance from Potlatch.

The park has a view to die for. It is small, quiet and in a beautiful setting. No negatives, except that there is a (Resort Fee) imposed that offsets your Good Sam discount. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much to do except drink in the scenery. If you want to, reserve early and get a waterfront site (most are).

The park is right off the highway and pretty tricky to get in and out. The back end of our motorhome drug coming out of the park. This park isn't really meant for larger rv's and no where to park a tow vehicle. Small park with little privacy. But it is clean, friendly staff and nice rocky beach area. Beautiful views of the Hood Canal. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

This park has a very nice location if your site is not #3. We were 12 feet from US 101 with lots of traffic and construction noises, was next to the dog area and dumpsters and had a great water view until the owner filled in the overflow site in front of our space. Our neighbors were now parked at a 90 degree angle to our fron windshield. Most other sites were set up correctly with excellent views of Hood Canal. People were friendly. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

I only gave this a 7 because of the beautiful location. I mean it is right on the water. Don't let he pictures on their web site fool you; they only have two pull through spots that can accommodate large rigs. We have a 33' fifth wheel and even the pull through was tight. On top of that these spots are right off of 101, it's only about 50 feet to the edge of the highway. Also there is a small hydro-electric plant right across the street that hums all night. We used the laundry; it was nice and clean. It was a nice warm day so we sat on the edge of the property and just took in the beauty of the place. If you have a moderately sized rig, this is a good place. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We won't return simply because we just don't fit. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean park right on the water. The laundry room might have been cleaner and only 2 washers and 2 dryers but they worked. No crowds to use them. The only thing wrong with this park is the highway noise, which died down at night, and the rumble from the power plant across the street. It didn't run all the time. It seemed to stop at some point, maybe at slack tides. I would stay at this park again. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

We stayed there on the way south and again on our return. Really not much for kids (fine with us), but a gem due to the quality of the facility and the knockout location - terrific view of the Hood Canal. We had a site right on the water (most are) and enjoyed just being there. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. A great spot to relax, but not much to do. We stay there every time we go by. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

Very nice small but modern RV park right on Hood Canal. The hosts are friendly and helpful allowing us to drive through and pick any spot. Concrete pads are level and clean. Restrooms are spotless and designed like a bathroom at home. The Wi-Fi puts out an excellent signal. We will return here soon. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

View is excellent. Showers are very nice as well. Downsides are VERY tight spaces and the entry/exit concerns. We stayed in space #2 that was supposed to be large enough for our 38' fifth wheel. Fortunately for us, the camper in front of us left early in the am and we could use their space for exiting. The CG is very close to the highway and log trucks roll until 10 pm and start again at 5 am. This negates the view with the heavy rumbling. I really mean ROLL which is my concern with the turn in and pull out from the CG. Be careful and hope you are not broadsided by one of those trucks! We will not stay here again. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Fifth Wheel.

Small, but neat location right on the Hood Canal. We enjoyed watching the tides, birds and sunrises. One of the nicest small parks we have stayed in. A bit tight, but no problems. We would stayed here again. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.
