9 Parks near Prosser, Washington
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Thanks for a very enjoyable, three night stay Wine Country RV. The excellent staff was laid back and helpful. A woman checking out lost one of the key cards to pool, showers, etc. and said she would mail it if found. The clerk told her not to worry about mailing it since the stamp was 47 cents and a new card was just a few cents. The lobby had a great wine bar and wine tasting hosted by an area vintner the evening we arrived, but we were too late to participate. Lots of nice trees, beautiful lawn that felt good on bare feet, a sparkling clean pool we enjoyed several times, and spotless facilities. They even had a small putting green and horseshoes. Prosser is a picture perfect, bicycle friendly little town on the Yakima river. We will be back. - BrdNStv
Jul 2016 - $40.00
We have stayed here before the current ownership change and always loved it. This time we experienced issues. We could never get their Wi-Fi to work except when in the office and the staff didn't seem to care that it wasn't working. We also went to sit in the spa/hot tub and were greeted with cold water and jets that weren't working, again the staff seemed disinterested. There was at least one restroom that was out of service for our entire 5 day stay. And it has always bugged me that you have to pay to use the showers. - DadOf3
Jul 2016 - $36.00
A very nice RV Park. THe buildings and picnic area is very nice and well maintained. The spaces are a very nice size and the layout of the park is very efficient. - Tschachers
May 2016 - $34.00
Very strange park. 95% of the park are permanent residents, some sites very sketchy. Some scary with ugly dogs. They had only four sites for overnighters. The overnight sites were lovely with decent spacing, nice flowers, beautiful grass and level paved parking. These sites are together in a nice location. Included Wi-Fi was excellent. Great water pressure. Nice office staff. - rjallred
Apr 2016 - $18.00
This is a nice clean park. Most of the sites are pull through with concrete pads and grass between sites. The sites are nicely spaced.
The restrooms were very clean with private shower and toilet area.
The park has a deck overlooking the Yakama River, nice place to site and read.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. - lovingit
Apr 2016 - $35.00
We just bought a new fifth wheel (Cougar 333MKS) and went to Beach for the shake down trip (we got coupons from our RV dealer for a free night). The park was about 3/4 full of full-timers and workers, the majority older and somewhat run down rigs. Certainly not what we were expecting.
Our site was a paved pull-through and was bordered by grass strips (about 10 to 12 feet between sites). Thankfully there was no one on either side. The manager was nice and attentive. However, for a place in the heart of Washington's wine country we were expecting and hoping for much better. - dcline97
Jul 2016 - $15.00
This park is a bit crowded to get into, everyone is lined up side by side perpendicular in close quarters. It is a small park that holds about 35 rigs and allows Passport America at all times. When we arrived there were about 5 sites left and it appeared that most folks were there for a long time, although I would not call them permanents, just staying for the season maybe. There is a good price on a monthly rate. There is a lot of extra room on the south side of RV park for cars to park and a big outdoor area with picnic tables, etc. There is a large building that is the "office" but it appears to be an old bowling alley, night club or something. Very curious. We felt safe here, everyone was friendly and helpful, I think we will return. - saturn7
May 2016 - $15.00
The owners at this RV Park were just the nicest people you could ever have wanted.....I just can't say enough about how good they were. Just made us feel at home. We will be back for sure. - Butch and Deb
Apr 2016 - $15.00
We have stayed several times before. Friendly, accommodating, easy to check in. Small clean laundry on site. Free Wi-Fi, 50 amp. Didn't use bathrooms, they are older but clean. We will stay there again. - Clift
Aug 2016 - $43.00
Spotless and fairly new. Very friendly service, and very handy to I-84. I should've tried to get us further away from the freeway and public side road. Noise was a bit of a factor.
100 degrees and, since trees are still infants, no shade. We were awoken at 0700 by a large mower driving within feet of the coach! Showers on 30 second timer, and one set temperature was a bit cool. Only about 30 direct TV channels available thru resort' s cable. Olympics, on NBC Sports, not available. Their D-TV package seems a bit "light."
Kudos for the work-out facility, which was nice. Looked like a nice pool, and a bunch of other kid-friendly stuff. - Phx24J
Aug 2016 - $33.00
Prices (without PPA discount) are as much as Lake Pleasant in Bothell, (ie, way, way over priced for the area.) This isn't Seattle!
Park is nice, clean, well laid out, and except for the 'cheap' area where it is gravel (which is ok with us), sites are paved. Cost was a combination of 2 nights at PPA and 2 nights at Good Sam. Not sure whether we would stay again, it was the closest park to our friends whom we are visiting. - PugetSound
Aug 2016 - $42.00
Have stayed at this park many times and have been totally happy every time. The park is becoming more popular and highly suggest you get reservations during peak summer months. - Olympia7
Aug 2016 - $42.00
We were pleased with the park based on other reviews here. The management was friendly and helpful. Lots of permanent campers but the park keeps everything tidy. On-site store was handy for last minute items. Good Verizon and AT&T LTE. No recycling. - Phil Hyde
Jul 2016 - $40.00
Everything was excellent except the wifi service. The park had 3 access points and it was impossible to sign on. Had to drive to town to find access. - rvpacer
Jul 2016 - $35.00
This park is extremely clean and well maintained. The office hours are 5:00 AM t0 9:00 PM so, unless you are arriving very late or leaving very early, the staff is available to check you in and they guide you to your site. Upon arrival at your site, they also walk you through the hook up process. Each site is pull-through and the connections are in tip-top shape. Each site has a beautifully landscaped grass patch, which is great for humans and dogs. They also have an enclosed "off-leash" dog run for your pups, as well as a pool and air-conditioned bathrooms if you need them. There are some long-timers but their spaces are also very well maintained. There is a small general store that provides necessities and they also have breakfast (biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, coffee, etc. for sale at a very modest price). The WiFi is very good and cell service is very usable. The lots are gravel but surrounded by pavement and grass and very level. There is very little street noise. Spaces are tight but we found the neighbors to be very friendly and respectful of personal space. This was an overnight stay for us and the weather was very hot (July), but the stay was enjoyable. The customer service is excellent and we would definitely stay here again if in the area. Overall, one of the best stop-over places we've experienced. 5-stars except for location. - WM RV Newbie
Oct 2015 - $18.00
Park is clean and safe with speed bumps to keep drivers from driving too fast. I needed two tanks of propane filled, left them at the filling station and went back to my rig. Half hour later when I went outside, there they were filled and delivered to my doorstep and added to my bill in the office. They have a great pool and hot tub but they were closed for the season.
All lawns were cut and looked great. They have water electric sewer cable and HIGH speed internet at every site.
Our stay was extended so we got the monthly rate plus electricity. We were buying a home and needed internet and theirs is the BEST. - Kuntry Kuzin
May 2015 - $25.00
Stayed 11 weeks while working at at Columbia NGS. Different layout with RV/Trailers parallel to streets, giving private fenced grassy yard. Well kept, yards trimmed and mowed every week, nice shade tree in each space. Street orientation allows for good satellite reception. Quiet, lots of working class people, several full timers. Manager is a heavy internet use savvy and all sites have hard-wired high speed internet. Bring your wireless router. Stream movies to your TV. Had to buy a connecting Cat 5 cable long enough to go from the RV to the Utility box ($10.00 from manager). Nice clubhouse with a big pool (summer only). Small BBQ/grassed park area. Not in a pedestrian friendly area, No easy foot access to a corner store. No sidewalks along the busy road, which is the only reason I rated it a 9. Local bus access is about a 10 minute walk from the park along busy road with no sidewalks. A little daytime noise from a nearby rail spur, almost no traffic noise. Extremely nice manager and family. Only been there for a couple of years and working very hard to have a 1st class park. Would definitely stop there anytime in the area. - starsekr
Sep 2014 - $12.00
Rate reflects monthly rate, we stayed here in our 39ft fifth wheel. This is a true big rig friendly park, plenty of room to navigate and the private fenced yards are the best idea I've ever seen in an RV park! Host was great and even set us in, helped us hook up and the electric Rv mover they use is really cool! The internet is hard wired so each site has it's own connection, bring a router and you can stream movies right to your trailer! We stayed for a little over 2 months and will be back in the spring, we highly recommend Moon River, it is the best park that we have stayed in! - fusion34
Oct 2014 - $27.00
Park is a lovely oasis in the middle of the Columbia river. Lots of grass, boating opportunities, etc but the facilities are fairly old. It was very windy when we were there but we'll be back. Sites further way from the water are less windy. - clecogirl
Jun 2013 - $27.00
An island in the sun! Surrounded by the magnificent Columbia River, the grounds are manicured and enjoy a variety of mature trees. Stellar maintenance - kudos to Benton County! - Excellence
Apr 2013 - $27.00
A very nice park with nice grounds and nice camp sites. There's also a day use area and boat ramp. The only down side is there's a lot of nearby train traffic both day and night. - redwing282
Apr 2016 - $30.00
nice park but tight parking; good location, highway noise but not bad inside coach; 12 hrs of wi-fi service included & works good; full hook-ups. - Buck44
May 2012 - $27.00
Easy access from the highways. Park was built in the 50's and spaces are TIGHT. Our 40' Class A fit in one spot but our lawn chairs and awnings had to be in the adjacent spot. The park was not full and this was not a problem. Our site required that we put one set of duals on 1" blocks so that we didn't lift the tires off the ground while levelling. Parking areas are asphalt but there are some trees. Attendant had to do some trimming before we could put out our slides and I climbed onto the roof and did some more trimming to keep branches from rubbing on the roof. No major branches that were going to damage anything. Attendant was friendly. There appear to be a lot of permanent guests. Washers and dryers worked great and laundry area was clean. We stayed two nights. The park was a good value for our needs. We would stay there again, if there was room to use two spots. We were in what they probably called a pull-thru but it was easier to back into the spot. - BertD
Mar 2012 - $27.00
Rate shown Good Sam discount. Site was an unlevel paved pull-through. Entire campground is paved with some trees. My site had a problem with the sewer outlet as it was higher than the drain on my rig. Office gave me the choice of choosing another site or using another sewer outlet at an unoccupied site in the morning. Excellent cable TV with an extensive selection. When I asked the office about Wi-Fi, I was given a username and password. When I logged in it showed it to be a pay for use, but I wasn't charged anything. However there was a time limit of 12 hours and once I logged out my free session was finished. In any case the Wi-Fi worked fine. - Onemoretrail
Aug 2016 - $35.00
This is a new and very nice, smaller RV park located just a few miles off of I-84 along the Columbia River. Roads and sites are paved with a grass strip and a small shade tree between each site. All sites, both pull-through and back-in, are full hookup with 20/30/50 amps. There are clean and modern bathrooms, showers, laundry, and a lounge/TV room in the office building. Check-in was pleasant and efficient, but they only take cash or check, no credit cards. The WiFi worked great! There is no pool nor playground but a city park and a swimming beach on the river are a short walk away along with lots of places to walk a dog. - JoyceM
