Tips for other Campers:

We have a rear connection for our power cord so had to pull to the front of the spot in order to reach the plug in, thus we had to disconnect the tow vehicle to park behind the 5th wheel. That was no oproblem.

Nice place for an overnight. We were late getting in and the check in desk was closed but they have a nice white board which had our name on it and an envelope telling us where our assigned spot was with a map. The sites have concrete rows on them which did require some maneuvering to get centered on. They are not completely level and required some adjustment. The sites are clean, the water pressure is good. They had 50/30 amp power and a very nice picnic table at each site. There was plenty of grass to walk the dogs. It is close to the interstate, trains and a truck stop so I wouldn't want to spend a week here but great for an overnight. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Standard PT not wide enough! No trees. Staff great. Hook-ups good. Wifi good. Thurs and Fri wine tastings awesome - live music on Fri. A fun park. Very clean. No recycle bins. Laundry reasonable. $3.25 for one load to wash and dry. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wine Country is a very nice park, very close to all area wineries. Sites are mostly pull-through, with back-ins around the perimeter. Our site had concrete with grassy area. Sites are roomy. Interior roads are in excellent condition and easy to navigate. Wine tastings from nearby wineries were held at the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a small fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked most of the time. There is a gravel path around the perimeter for dog walking. Overall a great place to stay. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lots of reviews already posted which are accurate. Our site did not have the carriage trails of concrete which made it easier to extend the jacks. The one consideration for summer camping is that they oriented the sites in a manner that will catch lots of sun on the driver side in the afternoons, and will be hot. This was our second stay at this park and would return. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

One interesting wine tasting was going to Grandview for the Yakima Valley Vintners, the school that trains wine makers, and tasting the students' wines. Some can be quite good.

Rate based on weekly rate. Great park, friendly staff, wine tastings on site, nice laundry and nice pool. Only wish they had a patio, grass very tall (even after they mow). Lots of wineries a few blocks away. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bern's Tavern (oldest tavern in Washington? I think) great for burgers and talking to locals. Bonnie's Vine and Gifts great assortment of wines and gifts at reasonable prices (bought a port there that was $20 cheaper than Bacchus). We especially enjoyed Alexandria Nicole wines. Their tasting room looks like a little shop in a shopping strip but wait til you walk inside! Their wines were superior.

Excellent one night stand. Long pull through. Satellite easy because trees are small. There is an area within walking distance where there are several winery shops set up together. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park. I wish they were all this well laid out and maintained. Paved/gravel combo, level sites, easy access for big rigs, easy on/off interstate. Nicely landscaped and maintained. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

We feel that the site we had was sufficient. We had a end space so we had extra grass area that was not used by your next door neighbor. Everything worked as expected. Restroom was cleaned but we were surprised that they had pay showers. Lots of wineries in the area. Stayed here in a motor home and would stay here again. As newbies to camping we tried this RV park first. It was only an hour away from our home base, but also very close to wine country and lots of wine tasting! Restrooms and showers full first class; very clean with new furnishings. Close to all kinds of restaurants too. The RV pads were great. Very level and lots if grass, and some trees for shade too. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Try to avoid staying Tuesdays or Wednesdays here if you want to visit the nearby tasting wineries, as many are closed on those days, as we discovered.

Nice park, you are a bit packed in when it is busy, but more than enough room for your slides. With long fifth wheels and their trucks and can get quite congested. Just enough room for our tow vehicle. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

The roads are all paved, the sites have concrete strips for the tires and gravel in between. Grass is between the sites. The sites are spaced OK between. The services are all good. The access was OK for a big rig. The park is clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. We would return when in the area. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Jeremy's 1896 Public House in Prosser was a great place to eat. The fish and chips were some of the best we have had. Services was great and the history of the building was very interesting.

Being off season, very quiet. Sites are level concrete pads with grass. Upon check in, if you ask, free tasting coupons are offered. My only complaint is the clerk did not know about Hanford Reach National Monument and Manhattan Project National historic park. Gave us directions that took us way out of our way, even though it was a pretty drive. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was our first trip in our travel trailer, ever. We're new to travel trailer life, so this was a great place to get acquainted with our trailers features (we have a R-Pod). Sites are paved and flat, ours didn't require any side to side leveling. The park is in walking distance of wineries, and they host a local winery at night for a wine tasting, which was great as most of the other wineries had closed. This was a great winter/spring escape from the rainy weather in Seattle, and we'll definitely be back. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, well-kept park with level concrete pad with grass in between sites - some sites are gravel. No shade trees except some on the perimeter. Utilities all work well - cable is good - wifi very hard to connect to - wasn't really able to use. Key cards for the restrooms don't always work - be sure to get at least 2 just in case. The restrooms are very nice and clean - individual restrooms include shower, sink, toilet. Showers are .25 for 5 minutes - plenty long enough. While it is actually close to the freeway (I-82) you really don't hear it as there are buildings and trees as a buffer. The management is very nice and very helpful. We just stayed one night but would be comfortable to stay longer if we were sight-seeing in the area (wine country.) We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
