9 Parks near Quincy, Washington
Jul 2016 - $1.00
This is a beautiful, clean park on the bank of the Columbia River. There is plenty of room for large motor homes. The staff was very pleasant. - Dani52
Jul 2016 - $1.00
I noticed from other reviews that the Park has been in "transition" for a few years now. Well, as with most TT Parks, change is slow and it is still in "transition" but Management seems to be making progress when I compare the place now to the other reviews.
Our site had 50A and there was no extra charge. We had a wonderful view of the river out the front window. Behind us was the hot tub, bathrooms/showers, and laundry room.
The day we arrived the water was out for about 6 hours as they were installing new, more powerful pumps for the well. The host warned us, but several residents came over as well to warn us/complain. The complaining was almost amusing to me though since almost all units here are self contained so being without water for a few hours during the day should not be a big deal!
The hot tub was very clean and I watched them clean it each morning. The pool is warm and clean but rather small. The laundry room was out of order with a sign on the door stating the washers/dryers were not maintained by TT and the company responsible had been called. This seemed odd to me that the whole room would be out of order versus just 1 or 2 machines.
Overall, a pleasant experience and would stay here again. - Bay Area Early retirees
Jun 2015 - $10.00
We have been here before. Only WiFi in the clubhouse, almost non existing and very slow. Worse then before. Back ups and pullthrus. Gravel/grass. The grass was dying due to a defect system. During our week stay it was not fixed. Hot tub was very dirty and broken. The swimming pool was also close for two days: maintenance. No reception on the antenna, no cable. But still we like it here, we had a nice site with great view over the river. Still they have to work on this campground, some paint and a bit of money for maintenance will do the job. Staff was friendly. - Traveller Excel

I stayed at Sunny Springs for 4 months while working on a construction site in Quincy. Multiple times I asked to move to the front of the park to be closer to the laundry and gym but was always brushed off. The owner/manager told me as soon as a spot opens up he'll let me know, even though there was a section that was constantly half full. The bathroom close to my site was full of bugs and only one shower worked up until the last month I was there. The gym had a dead mouse under the pull up bar for the first 2 months I stayed at Sunny Springs until they finally cleaned the room. To top it all off when I checked out they said they would mail me my deposit and after a month now they continue to lie to me and say "we sent it out, you should see it soon". - Aaron J
May 2015 - $38.00
The park name had been changed to Sunny Springs RV park and this made it very hard to find. Second the address does not sync well with a GPS. We had to stop at the Sunny Springs Park and confirm our stay and find out the name had changed.
The park was full of full time renters and thus did not appear as nice as other parks we had stayed in. We would not likely stay there again. - Bank
Jul 2013 - $50.00
The only reason I'm rating this campground a 3 is because of the pool during 100* days! We haven't been here in two years, and we won't be back any time soon. The place is dried up and ready to blow away. Every time we turned around we were being chastised for some "violation". Not accommodating at all. Old run down restrooms, with showers that don't drain and only one of the two in the women's side even worked or had a curtain. Everything has a keypad lock with a code that has to be entered every time. Wi-fi was terrible. Miss the old owners! - Wers Family
Oct 2015 - $38.00
Staped 3 months at Oasis while on a construction job in Quincy. Beautiful sites friendly people. Would recommend to anyone headed to this past of Washington. - Aaron J
Oct 2015 - $22.00
We were there in off season so it was pretty quiet. We took a electric-water site only off by ourselves. It's on a highway so a bit noisy. The restrooms were clean but all of the garbage cans were overflowing. We would stay here again. - Thedogsma
Jul 2014 - $36.00
An oldie but goodie...lots to do here, especially for children. The WiFi bumped us off now and then but I believe it was because we were far away from the office and it was practically full. Very busy...the restrooms appear to be very old, I have used them before and prefer my RV. Nice golf course on site. - saturn7
Jul 2016 - $30.00
As other have noted, signs are poor, registration is at the store on site. We had high winds one night and moderate evening winds every night. The camp was well used weekends with all types camping, there were a lot of tent campers. The park had a number of dogs in camps and most were untied. All people and dogs we encountered were friendly. I travel with a service dog and it was nice to be able to let him run a bit with his toys. There are multiple levels with roads to walk. Laundry on site with 6? older small machines @ $1.50 a load and $.25 for 6 minutes. - Edd505
Jul 2016 - $15.00
Signage is extremely poor and the office, which closes at 3:00 PM, is very hard to find. We tried to spend the night, but the site we were assigned was too short for our RV--even if we had unhooked our car--we couldn't fit. We also discovered the electricity at our assigned site didn't work. Although there were many open sites, we couldn't find another site with 50 amp. The office was closed, no one answered the phone and there was no one to provide assistance, so we finally gave up and left to spend the night elsewhere. The pull-through sites in the front rows aren't paved and don't appear to be very level. This campground appears to be very poorly maintained. - Carolynp
Aug 2013 - $45.00
Fifteen per person, minimum $30. We had to pay $45 because our daughter was with us. Poor signage, office is in a variety of places, depends on time of day. Narrow sites, slide encroached on neighbors picnic table. Overpriced for what you get. Our neighbors had a trailer and a tent, 5 people, $75 a night. Oh, the price of a Black Sabbath concert. - toolmantwo
Jun 2015 - $24.00
Nicely maintained park right on the edge of Soap Lake. Appears park is fairly old but is undergoing renovations. Roads are paved with sites being gravel or dirt. Fairly dusty in the non renovated spaces as they are dirt. Turns are tight and roadways can be a little narrower. Many trees throughout the park but they are nicely trimmed to not impact rigs except for placement near turns. Our site was level but the park does slope towards the back so for motorhomes there is going to be significant front to back leveling. Decent spacing between site. Long lake front beach and a nice pool. None of the sites are on the lake so the "lake view" is from a distance. At full price I think it is over priced, but they do take Passport America and Good Sam, which makes it a much better value. Wi-Fi is free and worked good during our stay. Even with the trees we were able to use our roof mounted satellite dish. Not many campers during our stay so it was quiet and relaxing. - mcharland
Apr 2015 - $25.00
I really like this park and I can easily say it is my most favorite park Washington. New owner, so it's currently undergoing major construction with lots of aggressive remodeling of the park. The original sites were mostly pull-throughs and a bit challenging entering & exiting, but they are ever ready to offer you help of any kind, and the new sites are being made more big rig friendly.
This spot in Washington is truly beautiful and unique, I want to come back unhook and really explore the area more. We were even allowed to use a 'football' size lawn for chuck ball for the big dogs, as currently there is no "dog run". I did walk in (and carefully backed out) of the public washroom and showers - duly note they are on the list to update and remodel. Really good Wi-Fi (but there were very few of us there at the time, maybe 12-20 others). We walked the beach and all around the park; we thoroughly enjoy the area. Lots of different parts to park with different things to do - this place must rock the locals' summer. I for one am excited to return and experience the changes this fall. Kudos to a new owner that is truly improving by polishing up such a gem in Washington. - livin4RV
Aug 2014 - $36.00
A charming park, the setting is beautiful, right on the lake. We stayed on labor day weekend and with a full park the staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job keeping everything quiet and clean. There was tons to do here. Swimming, hiking, kayaking, the state park is nearby, and you must try the Soap Lake mud it's an experience. The kids enjoyed the s'mores by the beach and the outdoor movie night. We heard the new owners are remodeling the resort and that in 2015 the RV sites and restrooms will all be redone which will be nice. This will be our go to spot for 2015. We will be back. - golfgirl.425
Jun 2016 - $47.00
Very clean park situated on the edge of Soup Lake. Arrived on Sunday and the place was loaded with families and noisy power boats on the lake. I asked to be placed in the back row, away from the lake and pool, so it was quieter. It's a beautiful surrounding and it's obvious they're working on quite a few improvements. However, this all comes with a doubling of the campsite fees. - LoveMyCasita
Apr 2016 - $25.00
Lots of construction dirt piled for levelling dock and fencing being built. New electrical being installed for pool and spa. But there was beautiful grass and toys for kids and adults. Great people and service and it will be out a sight for FAMILY get a ways.. - waynek
Jul 2015 - $20.00
This park is part of a city park in Soap Lake, Washington. While the RV park is gravel and asphalt, the adjacent park is grassy with shade trees, picnic tables and a run down skate park. The showers and restrooms are dated, but clean and serviceable. The main attraction is the lake itself and the rv park sits at waters edge. - Mainlygoing
Aug 2015 - $50.00
The price is high but this a truly an oasis in the desert. The sites were large with lots of room between units, EWS worked fine. No WiFi. We stayed three nights and loved it, we like to get away from urban life and relax. We had a nice view of the Columbia River. This park is quiet and away from everything. The weather was calm while we were there. We would return. - Thirdtime
Jul 2013 - $32.00
As others posted previously, WINDY! We stayed here three nights and the last couple days were so windy that I thought our 32 ft travel trailer was going to tip over. It might have been the site we were in (#42) and was in direct path of the wind? Other than the wind, this place is made for watercraft sports. The park has a nice swimming area but gets very crowded on a nice hot day. Cell phone coverage (Verizon) worked very well. Only a gas station/mini mart that is right off the freeway. We most likely will not camp here again because of the wind. - sirjin
Aug 2012 - $31.00
The park itself, is very nice. It has good spacing between sites and there's lush grass in this desert. All sites are full hookup with 30A. There is no dump station. Most sites have a view of the Columbia River. Yes, it does get windy here. It awoke me at 2am and I went out to close the window awnings because they were shaking so much. As retirees, we would not stay again but if you have a family, a boat, jet skis and dogs, you'd probably love it. Reservations are highly recommended. There's a nice beach area. Our 40' motorhome would probably fit in most sites but some are uneven. Since it was extremely hot during the day, the 30A and being able to use only one air conditioner really taxed it. Other than water activity, there's nothing to do in the immediate area. There are a couple fuel stops on I-90, 3 miles north of the park, and they have limited groceries. - nbi600
Aug 2016 - $42.00
Very busy park, kid friendly. They have done a great job at remodeling the campground, nice wide spots separated by grass, large pool, 2 jacuzzis, horse shoes, mini golf, volley ball, and of course the lake. No ATT, wifi useless, Verizon data worked well., cable TV. Plenty of room and green space to walk the pups, but no dog run at this time. Would stay here again, but might avoid those busy summer weekends. - sam and hope
Jul 2016 - $45.00
We stayed 3 nights. At the time of our reservation there was only one spot available. Although we were right next to the highway which had an amazing amount of tractor/trailer traffic, we still feel we had the best site there. The only complaint would be that we wished the resort grounds were fenced all the way so close to the highway. We were just worried our 6 month old puppy might escape and get run over.
The resort was wonderful, the sites very nice and so much to offer! Lots of families, lots of kids. That's what camping is about! We had fun in the lake and baking in the sun with the mud on. Wifi was weak. Only worked some of the time. We will stay here again! - CR White
Aug 2015 - $39.00
We made reservations a year in advance they told us we would get a premium site but when we got there the site was all dirt and we could not get the M/H level. When we asked they said they were behind on construction, we also asked for 50 amp site we got a 30. There is no supervision at the pool , kids run wild with out parents any where to be seen. WiFi is spoty at best. Some day this will bw a nice resort. - Foglesong
