The staff are friendly and helpful. The park is clean, as are all the facilities. They have a lovely pool, shuffleboard, and things to do in the park. The problem they have is the same as almost every park we have been in - lousy Wi-Fi. It is slow and sometimes it just stops. Also the cable - they said you need to pay for a receiver, which we did not, we have Direct TV. Everything else was wonderful. This is our 2nd time here and we would come back again. We had a tow car and had plenty of room. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an extraordinary park. Only one little suggestion and that would be to trim the trees back from the sites. Love the shade but don't want trees rubbing against the coach when it's breezy. Morning biscuits and gravy is really a nice touch. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our third time back to this park. With a bigger rig, we found the spaces between the sites much narrower, and we were unable to even put out one awning & could only partially extend the other. Gravel level parking site with nice grassy area between sites. However as the trees have gotten bigger, we had to position around them to extend the slides. All services worked well, good 50 amps. Still a nice park, but I think we'll try a new one close by our next trip through. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is extremely clean and well maintained. The office hours are 5:00 AM t0 9:00 PM so, unless you are arriving very late or leaving very early, the staff is available to check you in and they guide you to your site. Upon arrival at your site, they also walk you through the hook up process. Each site is pull-through and the connections are in tip-top shape. Each site has a beautifully landscaped grass patch, which is great for humans and dogs. They also have an enclosed "off-leash" dog run for your pups, as well as a pool and air-conditioned bathrooms if you need them. There are some long-timers but their spaces are also very well maintained. There is a small general store that provides necessities and they also have breakfast (biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, coffee, etc. for sale at a very modest price). The WiFi is very good and cell service is very usable. The lots are gravel but surrounded by pavement and grass and very level. There is very little street noise. Spaces are tight but we found the neighbors to be very friendly and respectful of personal space. This was an overnight stay for us and the weather was very hot (July), but the stay was enjoyable. The customer service is excellent and we would definitely stay here again if in the area. Overall, one of the best stop-over places we've experienced. 5-stars except for location. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful green park in a brown drought-surrounded location. Feels like you found an oasis of green in a sea of brown.

We stayed here for a week. It is a very nice urban park in an out of town setting making it extremely quiet. Most of the park is permanent residents, but we were impressed at how well they kept their spaces. Lots of patio furniture and even the older units showed a pride of residency. We did not use the amenities, but they looked more than adequate, complete with a children's playground, a shuffleboard and a volleyball court. Our site was on the corner making it next to the garbage cans, but it was cleverly disguised and did not bother us in the least. Long spaces, which we were guided into. Gravel with grass in between. Big rig friendly. Over all a very nice park. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A very interesting area to explore. Be sure to take the Hanford Tour of the the Reactor. There are three tours and they are most interesting. Some of the best tours we have been able to take. Richland has a mid-century modern feeling because it was established in the 40's when the Hanford Missile site was built. Also the REACH museum is well worth the visit.

Beautiful, well maintained park Clean, modern, great convenience store, quiet, and great wi-fi. There seems to be lots of long term campers, but I think they are contractors working at Hanford (they have clean, well-maintained RV's) We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

It's a big park, very clean and well maintained. Water pressure was good (btw, we had discovered that by changing our water filter in the RV our water pressure gotten much much better!).

They have cable packages and videos for "rent", you pay $2 for a movies that you get back when you return than movie.

They have few facilities for bathrooms/shower/laundry combination, they are very clean and look very nice.

They got a lot of green nice grass everywhere, so no matter where your site is you can be sure you'll have more than just a small piece.

We spent there only 2 nights and heard from others that their pool is really great and that they also have a hot tub.

Even though they have restrictions about dogs as every park has, they were not looking for trouble, we were able to have our dog be off leash just so we can play Frisbee with her and let her have some exercise, as I said before they got a lot of green grass everywhere.

They also have volleyball, horseshoe and shuffle board, they had a very nice fenced in dog area with very nice green grass, that you could wash your dog there too.

Last thing is that they have mini-mart, similar to when you stop at a gas station one. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stay here for one night wish we could have stayed longer in one of the 241 sites. In addition to the nice large grass area between the easy to get into sites, they offer breakfast from 5am to 11am - now this is not a home cooked breakfast but heated up burritos, potatoes or tornados (didn't try their biscuits or gravy) plus regular deli items. Oh yea, it offered 97 cable TV channels. Check-in package included address, telephone and directions to nearby hospitals, doctors and vet. Also package included addresses and telephone numbers of golf courses, churches and other nearby attractions. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice quiet park (very occasional truck noise). Asphalt access roads, concrete and gravel sites, mostly level, grass between sites and typically a tree. Use of awnings potentially problematic due to location of trees (we had one next to sliders on both sides). Big rigs going out the access road next to the pool will need to swing very wide to make the turn. Power ok (even with heavy ac load), water ok (65 psi), sewer ok (although ours was recessed into the ground enough to require a donut to raise the connection). Wifi decent for a campground (both strength and speed). Moderate Verizon signal, did not test speed as campground wifi was sufficient. No recycling. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hanford tours fill up very early - 2 seats were left for the rest of summer by early July on the Hanford B reactor tour.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this park in the past 5 years or so and we were so disappointed in how much we feel this park has gone downhill. There are so many full time residents living here it is appalling. You can tell by all the "junk" that is laying around all the various rv's, mostly trailers. We were surprised there was one cab-over camper which had been removed from the truck and was on the pad and we never could figure out how many people were actually staying there. There were usually at least 3 - 4 vehicles there every night with two of them being old trucks filled with landscape remnants, grass clippings, limbs, etc. Many of the 5th wheels have insulation built around them which was very tacky looking. We just could not believe Horn Rapids would let their park look more like a transient place than the upscale park they used to be. The next time we come back to this area, we will be looking for a new place to camp. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a quiet, clean park; although, there is no option for walking trails from the campsite. It has trees and green lawn rather than sand and gravel! There is a dog park. We cannot understand why RVers still insist on letting their pets use the lawn around our rigs instead. Maybe the park should post signs on the lawn? We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects monthly. We have been here a few months now. Overall the park is nice, quiet, well kept. The wifi was messed up from the big windstorm and they refused to do anything about it. I finally just got my own through Charter which was a good move for me. The cable is good. The office staff tends to be rude to long term tenants. I have experience rudeness as have I witnessed them being rude to others. If I worked in an office and was rude or used profanity to the customer I would be fired but the manager seems to not care. When there is a problem the office staff reply is: call the manager. Nice to stay overnight but they are not as nice to long term. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.
