This is a small campground but such a breath of fresh air with green grass. The work campers who ran the park were awesome and showed a lot of concern for both park and customers and also very knowledgeable about area. There were a couple of ladies there to watch your pet should you decide to go to Victoria for the day. If you are a big rig, you will want the pull through sites but recommend you back in because the turn into the site would be very difficult. There is little area on which to walk your dog but it is kept clean. Verizon was good here. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Take the ferry to see Buckart Gardens, Victoria BC. You can book transportation to the gardens when you are on the ferry which will include ticket to the gardens. If you want to eat in the tea room restaurant, make reservations as soon as you arrive. DO NOT take your auto. I would not suggest shopping near the ferries. Very much touristy and $$. The gardens were worth the whole day trip.

This is a very quiet small upscale urban park set back off the main road. Office staff were very pleasant, we were guided in to our back-in by the host; not needed, really, but appreciated. The 28 sites are fully paved with beautiful grass in between. Utilities worked well. The camp offers good WiFi as well as a free ($20 deposit for a Cat 5e cable) wired DSL LAN jack at every campsite; I saw 84Mbps download speed. The free Cable TV featured 200+ digital channels. The extremely small "Dog Park" measures at most 8' x 20'. We walked our dog outside the Park. We received several packages there with no issues. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We found the cheapest diesel is across the street from the Park. The John Wayne Marina was lovely and worth a visit. We ate twice at The Oak Table restaurant in town; very friendly staff and delicious food.

As stated, this is a small park, with every space available used. Sites are very nicely kept, if small. When we open up our Toy hauler, we are 50' long, and we then have to park 2 motorcycles and a truck. We parked our truck on the street across from our rig, and then we fit fine in a pull through site. We could have maneuvered the truck in front of the rig, but having the street available worked for us. The sites are very well manicured, and each site had a picnic table and enough room to enjoy being outside. The staff was so very helpful, parking, finding things in town, and suggesting tours. There is a social time every Tuesday night, which is a nice thing to socialize, if you like. The proximity to Olympic Park was great, as well as Port Townsend, Port Angeles, and other sites close by. The town itself is the regular shops you find anywhere, but in June and July, they have a lavender festival, and everything is done up in lavender colors - it is really pretty. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved Olympic NP, and Hurricane Ridge was one of the most amazing views we have had in any park.ness Spit, but not the whole length. Take the Whale tour out of Port Townsend - wonderful! There are many quiet beaches to be found, if you want a relaxing day If you need to head East from this area, it was worth it to take the Ferry out of Port Townsend. Saved us driving down around Seattle and back up

We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with a big F350 and this park can be tight getting in for big rigs because the lanes are narrow. This is a small park. We had a great site - #28 right on the end with a straight line to exit the park. Lanes are paved and site 28 was gravel surrounded by grass. The site had a picnic table. Some sites do have concrete patios. The park is just beautiful. Park staff help you get in to your site and are very friendly. Utilities worked well. Cable TV is very good. Satellite worked well. Propane is available in the park: WiFI good for checking email. AT&T cell service was good and Verizon broadband worked well. Dog park is tiny and not fenced. There is no pool and no bugs. Lavender farms are all over Sequim and the Lavender Festival this year starts July 21st. We just loved being in this park and being in Sequim and hope to return soon for a long stay. Note: Sequim rhymes with "swim" - the "e" is silent We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautifully landscaped small park. Spaces are hard to get into for big rigs but the staff helps guide you and it is doable without scratching your coach. Cars park in front of the RVs parallel to the road and sometimes you may have to get people to move their car to get in our out of your space but the staff helps with that. Good WiFi, satellite and Verizon cell phone and good cable. Nicely manicured lawn between sites. Sewer connections are a bit farther away than normal (more than 20 feet) and you may need an extension. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

My favorite park for lots of reasons. It is a small boutique type park. Very well kept, lots of green and shrubs make it feel bigger than it is. The 29ish camping sites are close together and no space is wasted but the feel is perfect. The well designed layout makes every space well used. Yes you are close to your neighbors but you can put your awning out easily and the grass and picnic tables give you plenty of space. The concrete pads are perfectly level and very nicely done. They help you park so even though it is tight, the staff is well equipped to get you sorted. You park in front of your vehicle and there is enough room just for everything to fit. The staff and every camper there is happy and friendly. The bistro, get together area, is lovely with a pool table, darts and kitchen area. The social gatherings are there if you want or not. The utilities are perfectly placed and not obtrusive. The DSL at each site is absolutely perfect so bring your portable adapter and cable to hook into your rv. Create your own wifi in your rv with your own linksys box or use their wifi. Verizon cell is great. Cable is good and sites are open with small trees to give you a cozy feel. We had a hummingbird in ours. One row of pull thrus in the back give you a tad more room but I don't mind the back ends up to your neighbor in the back. No real kid stuff but a lovely swing and fit pit in the grass at one end and a small area to walk the dogs. There are plenty of grassy areas around the park though to further walk the dogs. The park is very close to town so walk in every day and the grocery store across the street is good. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful RV Park, immaculate landscaping, laundry and showers. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Great mowed field for dog walks. Nice concrete pads with picnic table. WIFI and cable were excellent. Not the largest sites we've seen but plenty of room for our 36' motor coach and tow. Everyone was super respectful of privacy and quiet. Great location for sightseeing and services. We hated to leave. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park area is very small and there are 26 sites crammed in. While it is well landscaped, the overall park is very cramped. We had to disconnect our truck and try to park it diagonally in front of the trailer as all other guests had to. Drivers drive fast on the streets around the park which has little buffer to the roads. The staff is very personable and helpful. Most of the folks here seem to live here. Unfortunately there are very few "good" options for RV parks in this area as we looked around while we stayed in the area. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Small park in a great location. It is a newer park with level sites and convenient hookups. Wifi and cable TV were great. Restrooms were very clean. Service was very good. The host took us to our site and helped us back in. Spaces were pretty close together, but everyone had a small areas of grass, a patio and a picnic table. Great little park. Very neat and tidy. Landscaping was excellent. Great location for visiting the area to include Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge Olympic NP, Port Townsend etc. Hookups worked great. The staff were very helpful. The only down side was the site fee $41 was a bit pricey but this park was a cut above most of the other parks we saw. We had no problems getting our 32 MH in a back-in but a big rig would have a little challenge. They do have pull-throughs. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Space #5. Physically, very attractive and well maintained. But very tight. Two rows of spaces, ours was back to back sites, backing in from each end. The other row was more spacious, used as true pullthrus, and with a bit more room between units. I can't remember a park we've been in (and probably 15 so far this trip) where you are so close. Little to no privacy. Backing in and leaving requires the truck across the front of the site next to you be moved. Interior roads are 1 vehicle wide, so are one way with an entrance and exit. Checkin at office blocked road use. Setup maximized # of units in the given space.

The park itself was very clean, utilities fine, wifi sometimes decent, sometimes very slow. Good Verizon and AT&T data and AT&T phone. The park is not without its positives, see above. Good location for touring and local grocery/gas station across street can accommodate large rigs. We had what I consider, after looking around, 1 of the 2 worst sites in the park (for several reasons), so this colors my views of the park. Rules say no converted RVs, but they had a small yellow school bus behind us. If you have a better site, you will probably like it better than we did. I had expected more based on previous reviews. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

The biggest thing we look for in a campground is QUIET. This is not usually the kind of park I seek out. I prefer something a little more "outdoorsy", not so close to neighbors. But with last minute reservations, this looked like the best option for what was available. It was a great experience. The owner and hosts (and other campers) were great. Very helpful on the "where to go" front. They helped me back our 36 ft fifth wheel in to the tight space with no problem. Wi-Fi and services were nice. Oh, and did I mention quiet? The only noisy night was when SEA-TAC's flight pattern was overhead--and it ended at 10:30. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
