Stayed 3 nights. Easy to get to off the interstate. Entrance is spacious and cute statues/fountains. You can tell the staff is trying to do their best. Based on how the sites are, along with the more narrow interior roads, I think this is an older park that they are doing a good job keeping up. I selected an "extra wide" pull thru site. I guess the extra part refers to the grass around it. The gravel area in which to put your RV is about as wide as our fifth wheel before we put slides out. We did not feel on-top-of our neighbor. They're probably 10+ feet away. Decent gravel; site was level. Length is probably 55-60'. If you want to park your truck in front of your 40' fifth wheel, you'll need to kind of park perpendicular and a bit in the grass. We have extra vehicles, and the staff paid attention and gave us an end site and said it was okay for us to park on the grass. Sweet! We also had a mature tree on each side of the site; did not brush the roof. Hookups worked as desired. Sewer not threaded, so you'll need something to hold in your sewer hose elbow. We had no problems navigating the interior roads; probably helped that we were on an end-site. Wifi was okay; need patience when surfing websites; no password required. Multiple bars AT&T LTE. The trains were in-frequent, but sometimes were pretty loud when coming by. Never woke us up at night. The thing that bothered me was a constant mechanical hum/buzzing. Sounded like it came from near the water tower on the north end of the park. Not on the campground property so not something the KOA can control. Totally adequate stay. Anticipated the "higher" price due to the larger city. Would stay again. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Big rigs should be limited to the "super wide" sites. Standard pull throughs are too tight making getting in and out very dangerous. People were playing musical cars to get RVs in and out of sites. Even worse - it is unsanitary to have a picnic table within a foot of the septic dump. Several times our neighbors kicked our connection loose by accident. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. We were here for 13 nights, and loved this park. The staff were friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Although the sites were a bit close together in the A row, we enjoyed being close to the playground. It was the perfect size for kids under 8. The pool was heavily used as well, although we didn't use it but once. The wifi worked great (well enough for us to use for work), which is unheard of at most campgrounds. There was some train noise, but it did not bother us, I actually enjoy the trains. However, if I was tent camping I probably wouldn't. This is a very well taken care of campground, in a great location, close to shopping, bike trails, multiple parks and playgrounds - we look forward to returning! We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Centennial Bike Trail is just a mile away and connects to Idaho and Spokane downtown. Although we didn't go that far, a few miles in each direction is very enjoyable and runs by the Spokane River. Beautiful! Also for those with kids, the Discovery playground is just a 10 minute drive away, and is one of the nicest playgrounds we've seen.

Old KOA campground with a train that runs 100 yards from the campsite. Narrow campsites with the sewer close to neighbors picnic table. Typical amenities for a KOA, pool, bike rental and playground. 12 miles from downtown Spokane. WiFi is weak and intermittent. Good Verizon wireless cell phone service. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a older park well maintained, the interior roads are gravel as are the sites. There is grass between the sites. all the utilities worked fine. maneuvering with a bigger(longer) unit is tight. The Premium sites have cement borders that are can interfere with the entrance and exit to the site with a longer rig. Some sites were close together others were very spacious. The staff was great and very accommodating. Outside of the difficult time getting in to the site it was good place and worked for us. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Just to the north of the park about a mile is Bayou Bar and Grill. We had a great meal and very reasonable. It is a local tavern, not much to look at but the food was very good. We would return again if in the area

Park generally pleasant, but train noise is a problem. Woke up during the night when sounded like and felt like a train was rolling through our site. Check-in was poor because we were sent to a site that was already occupied. That problem took about half an hour to sort out. They finally gave us another site. Bathrooms clean but old. Showers were difficult to adjust and the drain backed up so standing in water. I would stay here again because Spokane has so few alternatives but not a great RV park. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Typical KOA. Price was high but you always know what you're getting. The main negative is that it's right next to a very load railroad, especially the whistle. Well away from the freeway so that wasn't a problem. Other than the railroad noise, it is a nice campground. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We used this park as an overnight stay. It is very convenient to I 90 and the Spokane Mall. The park seems well maintained and managed. Check in was easy and friendly. The site was level gravel with grass and a picnic table. The sites seem fairly narrow but the access was easy. The trains are noisy at times but did not really bother us. The cable works well and has listings from 2 to 96. The WiFi is barely useable for email but we mostly used the hotspot on our phones which worked well. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

Unless you get the top of the line $70 sites, you are packed in like sardines. I step out my door right into neighbors sewer line and when I opened my slide out I almost hit the awning of the RV behind me. The laundry facilities leave a lot to be desired, the laundry room was filthy, machines didn't clean laundry and they had 7 washers but 3 dryers. No change machine either. Sign said $1.75 to wash but it took $2.

We only stopped here to do laundry and restock our groceries. At least Walmart was nearby! We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Narrow streets and sites. People had to move their vehicles so I could get INTO my site. Also, tent campers (and their vehicles) had to move so I could get OUT of my site. This was a problem through most of the Park. Freight trains ran 24 hours and they were within 30 feet of my RV. Laundry was filthy! I swept the floor before doing my laundry just in case something fell onto the floor. Dog Park was nice WHENEVER you could use it. Boy Scout Troop, tents, and vehicles blocked it one day. Also unusable for a half day after the watering. Recycle was a joke. Slots for recyclables were too small for anything other than a soda bottle. Everything else got thrown into the trash. I do NOT recommend this place at this time. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Seems to be an older KOA. The sites are gravel, short and narrow. Just enough room to get slides out but not enough for our awning. Utilities work, though I did not hook up sewer until I needed to dump, as it was in my neighbor's sitting area. The dog walk is a small patch of grass with a tree which may have worked, except a minivan pulled into the middle of it and parked. We only chose this park as it was fairly close to friends we were visiting, and it seemed to get decent reviews compared to those in the area. Fortunately we had only 2 nights. Also, the rail road tracks are next to the park, another perk for your dollars. The park does seem to do a good business (quite a few long term), so maybe I am missing something. In the future we will drive the extra miles and stay in Coeur d'Alene. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.
