Nice little park with very friendly staff. Our first outing for the year, I was still on crutches from a knee surgery. They picked me up with the golf cart and took me down to the dock so I could fish with my son. It is small and the kids couldn't ride their bikes, but there are a few activities for the kids. We will go back when we are looking to do some fishing, maybe an all guys weekend with my boys. We camped at Offut Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
The resort is very old with old hookups. The water hookup is buried in the ground, the power and cable tower are old and falling down. The bathrooms very dirty and you had to pay for a shower. Our site was gravel and level, the firepit was a hole in the ground with rocks around the edges. They did not enforce the quiet time, parties were going on all night. Will not return. We stayed here for two days in summer of 2004.We had a paved back-in site.A lake is within
1/4 mile of park. They offer fishing and boat rentals. We experienced alot of yellow-jackets(bees).Maybe we just hit them at the wrong time of year. The staff
was excellent.Very nice people. We camped at Offut Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.
