Blue Valley is a nice RV park very close to downtown Walla Walla. While there's very little in amenities here, the sites are level and very clean. In fact everything here is extremely clean - the restrooms, showers, laundry room, etc. I probably wouldn't consider this a "destination" RVpark, but it's perfect for a few nights while visiting Walla Walla, or your kids/grandkids at Whitman College or Walla Walla Univ. Downtown Walla Walla is only a few blocks away and there's plenty of restaurants, cafes and tons of wine tasting. The staff here was pleasant, but she WILL hunt you down within 5 minutes of the tiniest of rule infractions, such as a car bumper 6 inches over a line. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Reception Area: Clean; they have a rack with brochures. Friendliness: Office staff were not unfriendly but were not particularly friendly either. Wasn't left with the feeling that they appreciated our business. Provided a map and Campground Brochure: The receptionist went over rules in detail, touched on Wifi and Bathroom codes and told us where our site was. Security: They did make several trips through the park every day during office hours. It seemed more like they were making the trips to police for rule infractions rather seeking to be helpful to campers. I observed no after-hours security. Often two people in the cart. If I were the owner, I'd be questioning why I'm paying two people, one of which is the manager, to perform this activity. It is worthy of note that there is a prison nearby, a homeless shelter a block away, and an animal shelter right next door to the office. None of these should give pause if you are concerned about safety and security. I saw no indication of any problems for the park related to these facilities during my one-week stay, but prospective campers should be aware that those facilities are nearby. Roads: Asphalt; plenty wide enough to allow maneuvering of even large RVs. Site: 11 feet wide and long enough for RV. Concrete pad for picnic table. Parking problematic. Even if backed all the way to their white line, I would not have had room to put my F150 with a bike rack in front of the coach without impinging on the main roadway, which is against the rigidly enforced rules. Parking rules strictly enforced but there is very little parking at the office for visitors and no parking is marked, except handicap and reserved parking. We had no problem leveling. Not so with some sites. Water Pressure: Ample; we had close to 60 psi. Cable: Yes; channels identified on brochure WiFi: Yes; Strong signal and plenty speed at all times, but I was close to the antenna. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you like historical things, be sure to visit Ft Walla Walla and Whitman Mission, both close by. The Maple Counter is a must for breakfast, lunch or brunch. O's Car Wash at 9th and Main for excellent wash - about $40.

As others have said this is in a bad part of town. We saw lots of homeless that where sleeping on grass very close to the park. Follow the signs into the park do not use your GPS. The park is mostly asphalt on the westside with a little patch of grass that is between you and the rig behind you so it is not useable. Our least favorite design in a RV park is the back to back sites with the rest back in. It makes it feel like you are packed in. With no pull thru it is not good for just a one night stay. There are small cement pads, the utilities where well placed. The park is well kept but has definite disadvantages. While we where there the park was never more than half full with most of those full timers there sites where well kept. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walla Walla is a great small town with a nice downtown with lots of wineries and places to eat so we will return. Our favorite tasting rooms where Spring Valley downtown and Northstar out of town. The Red Mountain area which is about an hour away has great wines. We spent 4 days and had a great time.

This is a well managed, easy to navigate RV park. The roads and sites are paved. The sites have a nice patio and picnic table and grass. The WiFi is the best we have ever had in a park. The only draw back is that some of the sites are back to back. Do not follow your GPS. Follow the directional signs for the last half mile. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, nice staff. Very clean and quiet park, convenient to many downtown tasting rooms and restaurants. Sites are level with plenty of room for a toad. I was a little concerned reading some of the previous comments, but we experienced no problems at all. We will stay here again as we come back to hit more of the wineries. Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park in a very ugly part of Walla Walla (and according to google maps, less than a mile from the state penitentiary). The park is in excellent condition, and quite pretty. It's a reasonable value with the military or Good Sam discount at the weekly rate, but the daily rate is a little steep. A large selection of cable TV stations is included in the rate. There is wifi, but its very slow much of the time. Most of the sites have a fair degree of slope front to back and will require leveling. Half of the sites are around an outside ring, with the other half in the middle. Beware the middle sites if you have a longer rig: There are two sites back to back at each spot, with nothing but a painted thin white line between them. I noticed several people backed up exactly to the white line, so the second person into that double spot lost several feet of space if they needed access to the back of their rig.

Also, there are two areas of the park, Frontier and Outback. In between the two areas is a local humane society facility. From the Outback area, you can hear lots of dogs barking and crying. You can't hear them from the Frontier area.

On driving into the park: do not follow google or your GPS, follow the signs. You will get there with a GPS, but not on the best route. Do not follow 4th St. to George, instead turn right off of 4th to Reese, then left on Burns, which leads straight into the park. There is a nice little golf course next door, but that's about it for Walla Walla.

I won't come back to this park because Walla Walla is a sad little town without much to commend it. I guess if you need to visit someone at the penitentiary, this would be the place to stay... We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Can be a little noisy on east side of park we found with road noise we were on this trip, but so close to downtown is a plus. Normally we have stayed in west side of park, but clean. Really clean. Some full-time, but again so clean you would not know. This weekend was wine release, and busy. Plan ahead for this weekend. Great cell, good Wi-Fi, level site, always the call if late arrival, excellent staff. See you in August We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very tidy, convenient to downtown, campground. Our site allowed us to pull thru because there was no RV in the spot behind us. Each site has some grass, and paved pads for the picnic table and a car. There was no noise, nor any visible animals, at the humane society next door. The campground dog walking is outside the park fencing in an industrial area: not pleasant. There is one grassy area though outside the office. We would stay here again if we were in the area. If you stay here try to get a space in the "Frontier" section as all the roads and sites are Asphalt pavement. If you get put in the "Outback" you will have a asphalt paved road but your site and the shoulders will be gravel. They charge the same price for all sites in both the Frontier and Outback sections. The Gravel site we had was not level so it took some time to level up our travel trailer. The one nice feature about all the sites is that they all have a concrete patio so there is no need to put down an outdoor rug or mat. And the patio is big enough for chairs and the picnic table they supply. There is not much if any shade. The cable had lots of TV channels. And though there are some long term residents, the sites were well kept and it was quiet at night. I took points off my rating due to no Good Sam discount for a 6 night stay (or week) and no discount for a gravel site vs. the nicer asphalt sites. The only amenities that this place is missing is a pool and store. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park hidden in a commercial/industrial area. Facilities are fairly new, very clean and well maintained. Reception/check-in very friendly and efficient after a delay as the lone person took a phone reservation. Good interior roads, plenty big and paved. Site was adequate in size for a large, 4 slide 5th wheel, reasonably level, with good utilities including 50 amp, cable and good wifi. Local area very nice with a fun downtown and activities in the area. If we return to Walla Walla, we will stay here. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is very well located to everything in Walla Walla; only about 1 mile to the downtown area. The staff was great about pointing out local restaurants and attractions. The location is right next to the Humane Society, but no noise issues at all. Access in and out of the park is via a gate, but the entrance one never closed while we were there. The entire campground is very level with paved interior roads with plenty of room to maneuver in a 40 ft RV with tow car. The sites around the perimeter are all back in, but the ones in the middle are very long pull-thru sites that are split into 2 sites, so you are back to back with another rig. Could be a little tight with 2 long RV's, but we had a smaller camper behind us, so not a problem. Not any tall tress, so satellite worked great. The WiFi worked well. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are into wine this is a great stop. The wines are very good and priced more reasonable than Napa or Sonoma. The merlots are the best in the US and the cabs are excellent. The down town area is charming with lots of shops and tasting rooms. This is a great 3 or 4 day stop.
