Other recent reviews are right on. Lots of grass, fairly level sites, trees at some sites. Good Verizon cell and sat TV. A few sites have Columbia River views (#11, 13, 15 I think). We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Update to my review from 2011. This is still one of our favorite parks! Yes, as a Disabled Veteran the State of Washington gives me a free camping pass, but even out-of-pocket we'd come here. The park has upgraded to 50A electrical (as most of the WS Parks appear to have done) which is needed with 106F summer days not being unheard of. The park is centrally located to many businesses, attractions and restaurants. Most of the sites have satellite coverage and over 40 OTA stations came up, but there were some duplicates with repeaters from Yakima and Ellensburg. Sprint and ATT had 4G LTE with perfect signals (and I was playing World of Warships and Star Trek Online using them while playing on my laptop in the shade). The mosquitoes this year were not that bad, but you'll still want bug sprays containing DEET due to West Nile Virus. You'll also need to be aware of the winds. It's not 'rockin your RV' bad, but it will knock your chairs, tents and awnings all over the park. this time, it buckled the support legs for my 12x12 awning, even though it was strapped down with additional tent pegs. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a favorite. This was our first time there, and we will likely return again this year before the weather turns cold. A huge green park, well maintained, many trees for shade, very level sites, lots of space between sites, fantastic paved bike trails following the Columbia river... a place to swim in the river. BTW - Didn't use the showers, but looked and they were clean... and we didn't bother unhooking the car because we were only staying one night and the site was dead on level. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the Apple Capital Bike Trail... If Wenatchee Confluence is full, try Lincoln Park, only 8 miles away, and connected by a paved bike trail. 3 miles down the beautiful Apple Capital Bike Trail (south) is the Pybus Market with places to eat, coffee, meat store, and lots more.

Overall, the reviews of this state park remain true. It's a great location and a well maintained campground - especially for the urban setting. The sewer connections are strange, the grass is beautiful, the place is quiet. My recent visit was very good. My only complaint was the self-check in included a posting that said water had been turned off. So, I filled my tank. But the fact is the water was not turned off. Freezing temps had not come yet and the water still flowed. I really dislike that kind of bureaucratic bunk. It's really unnecessary. Otherwise, we had a great time. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed at Wenatchee confluence State Park for many years at different times of the year. We love the wide spaces and the grass. But we invariably seem to have a problem with the A/C. Even just running 1 air conditioner we seem to blow the circuits. It is supposed to be 30amp. We are not even using 15 amps and it blows. It happens at most of the sites. Love to come here but when it is so hot. Not very comfortable. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful state park in an industrial area within the town of Wenatchee. It borders on the Wenatchee river. Nice sites, lots of green grass which is regularly irrigated. The only complaint I have is the old style sewer connections. They are 90 degrees to the grade (an elbow is installed at ground level) which make connecting an air-tight fitting extremely challenging. Lots of paved biking and walking trails. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in the summer to practice in our new rig. We moved the fifth wheel from our high altitude home, worried about cold temps and snowfall arriving before we left for the winter.

Only one of the two loops is open at this time of year. There were only about 5 parties there. Gorgeous fall colors, deer and raccoon came to visit.

With the Senior Pass for Washington State residents ($75 for October 1 to May 1) electric sites are $10/night. Dry camping is free!

Showers are adequate and clean. No WiFi here. The water was shut off for the winter for the last couple of days we were there.

Close to all services in Wenatchee. Highly recommend! We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park with lots of room in camping spaces and in general. We experienced excellent customer service when the spot we were supposed to move to after the first night was still occupied after check-out time. We had contact with the State Park employee at registration, the Park Ranger and the Park Volunteer Host, and everyone did a great job helping us. We observed grounds workers working hard to keep the park looking great. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very pretty park, right on the confluence. Sites are large, most with shade. The curves on the pull-throughs are very tight, but we managed to get our 30 ft 5er in with just a bit of futzing. Not too many bugs, but it is still early in the season.

Did not use the Bathhouse, but it looked reasonably clean, if a bit worn.

It was very quiet, the train noise in the distance was not bothersome.

We would stay there again. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great Park. We used it as a base to explore the Columbia river dams and associated fish ladders. The sitting on the confluence of the Columbia and Wenatchee river provide a great area to relax. The ten mile bicycle/walking path along the river is great - no cars... We enjoyed our time here and would return. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Motorhome.

Wenatchee Confluence State Park is excellent. The location is near the heart of the town with extensive bike paths. A great ride along the river to the farmers market. The sites are spacious and spread out. There is nice lawn for enjoying outdoor space and large established shade trees. We found access to be easy in our 42 RV with tow car. The only negative feature we found was that the sprinklers went on in our area in the morning when it would have been most enjoyable to use the outdoors area. It is also advisable to do a little map investigation prior to arrival as the entrance is through an industrial park. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Motorhome.

We've stayed at this park several times when visiting eastern Washington. Sadly, our experiences here have been getting poorer rather than better. Prices keep going up and service keeps going down. This park, like other Washington State Parks, now has a variable pricing system. You may choose a Popular, Basic, or Economy site and each of these types may or may not have hook-ups, resulting in several different price options. Unless you're lucky and find the entrance station staffed when you arrive, you'll have to sort out the fee structure on your own. We've very rarely found the entry station staffed when we've camped here, whether it's been in the shoulder or the high season, and this time was no exception. Another irritating thing is that the park does not mark the reserved sites in any way. They do post a list at the entry station of the sites that have incoming reservations for that night. There is also a list of all the campsite numbers in each loop and the ones that are not available for that night are crossed out. You must note all these site numbers and then drive around and choose an open one. Heaven help you if you make an error and take a site that's actually reserved. Why the staff can't put "Reserved" signs on the reserved sites like they do at so many other campgrounds baffles me. Chalk it up to budget cuts. You also now need a code to use the dump station. If you don't know the code, you pay $5 to dump. After we'd been settled in for awhile and I'd dropped our fee in the drop box back up at the entrance station, a staff person came by to give us paperwork to put on our dashboard. I asked about the code for the dump station and she said I could get it from her. What was it, I asked. She couldn't remember, but if I'd come to office later she'd give it to me. Another trek to the entrance station. This park is pleasant in many ways, with large grassy sites and its proximity to town and other attractions in the area. The natural wetlands portion of the park is well worth a visit and if you like to bicycle there is access to Wenatchee's great bicycle trail system. We'd probably camp here again, but Washington's park system is getting less and less camper friendly and more and more bureaucratic so I really can't say this is one of my favorite parks anymore. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of my favorite state parks. The sites are widely spaced. Many have a couple trees between them that provide partial shade. Grassy areas are huge. Only a few sites actually have river views. But, there is an extensive trail network in the park, a swimming beach, playgrounds, climbing toys, and lots of room for biking. The park is surrounded by light industrial land (warehouses, businesses) and trains can be heard in the distance. I like that this park is semi-isolated, very big, and yet very close to Wenatchee, mountain hiking, wetlands, and Rocky Reach Dam (which has a cool museum and self-guided tours). The park is very popular and it can get very hot during summer. Staff is friendly, but due to budget cuts, they aren't very present. Our neighbors were very quiet even though the park was nearly full. I would happily stay here again. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Tent Trailer.

We have been to this campground multiple times. It is a really nice park with very large RV spots. You have a lot of space between you and your neighbors. There are miles of trails and lots of things to do. The location is kind of strange in that the park is in an industrial area but you are very close to the town of Wenatchee. The negatives are that there is no cable TV, no WiFi, you have to pay to use the showers, and there is no soap in the bathrooms. For the amount you have to pay per night you would think there would at least be soap in the bathroom. We would stay here again and plan to later in the summer. We camped at Wenatchee Confluence State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
