Stayed here last year for a month. The old owners who had this park for 20 years sold it this past February to a couple from Japan. Their motto is, I think, cram as many people (with kids) in here as allowed. Kids running, riding bikes and screaming all thru the park. Maybe they will clean up the place. Won't be coming back. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have been staying here for a month and think this park is the best one in Westport. Some of the spots are not level, but with some work on your part, it's fine. Great free Wi-fi, great 50 amp and sewer will need a long hose to reach as it is in the back of the site. Owners are very nice. Didn't use the pool but other people did during our stay and seemed to enjoy it. Close to downtown also. Our satellite worked fine in our site. Will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Liked the Mexican food place and the Islander. The Islander has a Bloody Mary for $10 that they call a meal in itself! Has all sorts of garnish that will fill you up! Great! The winery is about 7 miles down the hwy towards Aberdeen and has good food also. All in all a town that we want to come back to.

This is an OK RV park. During the week it's really quiet. On the weekends it fills up and is a very different place. Kids riding their bikes thru your site and groups sitting around talking loudly late into the night. All the sites have old washing machine tubs for fire pits. A couple of our neighbors burned a lot of trash and plastic which made for stinky fires, driving us into our RV with the windows closed. There's also a lot of deferred maintenance -- broken concrete patios, tree stumps, huge potholes and uneven sites. Leveling our RV was a challenge. We are trying to figure out the best way to drive out when we leave with the RV so we don't bottom out on the huge potholes. Also use care when walking around so you don't twist an ankle. The showers and restrooms are fairly clean. After wiping the floor outside the shower up with paper towels, I was glad I wore flip flops. The showers are coin operated so plan on spending a buck or so. The men's shower has a knob you have to turn just right or it won't work. Annoying but if you fiddle with it enough, you'll probably figure it out. Also recommend running hot water in the sink beforehand or your first quarter will likely go for getting hot water. They advertise a heated pool and rec room on their sign but both were closed during our stay. The laundry room was clean and the cost reasonable. You can tell this was a nice park but time and ocean elements have taken a toll. All in all, not the best RV park we've ever stayed in and not the worst. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older campground and like many in the area they cater to the fishing enthusiasts, so there are many boat trailers accompanying RV's. The owners are very friendly and the sites varied in lengths and levelness. We found that the 30 AMP at our site(#38) was not working properly. While we had power, we think we really only had 15 AMPS, so be careful. They are very pet friendly allowing us to set up a small x-pen. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Retired in a new 18 ft trailer, I stayed at this park for the winter. After a month of searching the area and other parks, I found this one to be the most reasonably priced for the amenities. Also, the owners are REALLY helpful and kind people with 30 years of customer experience. The park has nice woodsy sites with concrete pads. They have wash areas for fish, vehicles, boats, laundry (big and clean maytags); shower and bathrooms; excellent landscaping; seasonal swimming pool and club house. It's within a mile of town, the beach, lighthouse, observatory tower and so much more! I will stay here every year I winter, or just visit the coast. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here because it looked OK from their website, & because there was only 1 park in Westport reviewed - we need choices! The town has bunches of RV parks - some are less than quality-looking locations. The other rated park is larger & nicer than this - we drove through it. This park is behind & beside a motel. Nice owners. Older park with a paved circular road & some gravel ones. Sites are mostly level, with side-by-side and back-to-back hookups. In the busy season it's probably not as nice as now. We have satellites & got to pick our own site - we have great reception. The laundry room has 4 washers & 2 huge dryers at reasonable prices. There is a fish cleaning table & sink. Appears to be a number of full-time sites, but there was in and out movement besides us. The pool was closed for the season before our arrival. If we come back to Westport we'll probably stay in the other park, but would stay here also. We camped at Pacific Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.
