This is a very clean well laid out rv park overlooking the columbia river. It would be a 10 had it not been for a very busy noisy road that runs right past the park. This combined with a well used rail track immediately next to the park detracts from the tranquillity and ambience. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Users coming from Hwy 84 on the south side of the Columbia will encounter a toll bridge that you must navigate in order to get to Bridge RV which is situated on the Wash. side of the Columbia. The bridge is only 18' wide and is at least 1 Km in length. The toll is $2.00 per vehicle each way. One would be better off crossing the Columbia at The Dalles on Hwy 197 to Hwy 14 which will take you to Bridge RV Park on the Wash. side, thus allowing you to avoid the narrow bridge.

Nice park! Asphalt pads, with grass in between, close, but no problems. Good connections, full hookup, free cable TV and WiFi with a good signal. Park is tightly laid out, but quite manageable. Nice trees in between spaces. The manager was quite informative and helpful.

We came from the Oregon side of the Columbia River across a long and narrow 25 MPH Toll Bridge. Our pick-up truck and 36' travel trailer only cost $3.00 for the toll. As of this writing, I don't know whether we will be charged a toll on the return trip. The lanes must be only 10' wide. With an 8' trailer, you need to pay attention and hope the on-coming drivers do too.

One interesting thing is that we found this park through RVTripWizard.com, and when we sent the address to our phones from Google Maps, it came up as being in Prosser, WA. Don't believe it if your GPS attempt to lead you there. Correct for White Salmon, WA. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is quite nice We stayed in site 20 and had a wonderful experience. The blacktop roads are easy to maneuver and keep the dust down. There is plenty of grass between the well spaced sites. The laundry room is clean with large machines and reasonable prices. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very small and cramped; barely enough room to maneuver around one way streets. FHU pull through and back in sites; electric good and water quality good. To get to our site I had to pull in front of other sites and then back down the road to park at our site. No clubhouse or pool, or playground. Has tent area. Charge for shower use; Wifi & cable TV. Some sites have grass but most have large rocks, which are hard on the feet. Large lot down the hill to walk the dogs but no place to let them loose. Trail down to the river. Well maintained & clean; friendly staff. Only place to walk was on sidewalk toward Bingen. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice compact, well maintained RV park. Some site are grass some have washed stone. The closer to the office the better the wifi. Good Verizon and T-Mobile signal. Good gas station right at entrance of park for motorhomes. Park has a large grass dog area. It is not fenced but there are only two openings one at each end. NOTE: Do not use Hood Bridge, or if you do, turn in your mirrors, very narrow white knuckle bridge. Use the bridges East or West. Tunnels both ways are doable, but some you may have to take toward the center. My Garmin gps showed lower tunnel height than how they really were. In general the higher the site number the less train noise. Did not find it bothersome. We were in 29 grass site, and parking for toad. Good FHU's mid site. Did see some using a board to level one side. Laundry facilities are good. Camp hosts very nice, easy to work with. Back in sites are angled and easy enough. Some sites have satellite access, if this is important call ahead. Would defiantly stay here again. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice, small and clean. Some sites have grass and some river rock for "yard" we had rock so wasn't able to use the doggies play pen. It is right by highway (on one side) and train tracks on the other side... you can definitely hear them but it didn't bother us. Wi-Fi not great, cell service good. PAY ATTENTION TO ADVICE about where to cross the river. The bridge by the RV park is NARROW!!! There is a very convenient gas station and little store right there. Decent dog walking area with river view. Close to activities and white salmon is a cute little town. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We took the Sternwheeler trip, several different trip options starting at 25.00, so worth it... check out all options though! We had lunch right there before boarding at the waterfront GRILL. AMAZING fish and chips! If it's raining, you can get ponchos for $5 in gift shop. We took the Mt. Hood train ride with awesome barbeque lunch in Parkdale Oregon (Train turn around) visited the museum.. price starts about 30.00 and goes up depending on "class" great time!!!!

We stayed here two nights. The grounds are immaculate, owners very friendly. A bit tight on the interior road for our 42 foot rig, but manageable. Lovely landscaping and a large area for dogs to walk. Train tracks close by but didn't bother us. Would stay again. We didn't use bathrooms but I see on their handout: showers require quarters. We had a great spot and we really enjoyed the pet walking area. It's nice to have a place to take an active dog to play! We like it so much we extended our stay for an extra week. Excellent wifi! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed watching the resident bald eagle (although we never got a really good picture of him!). As mentioned in other posts, the train is very close, but it doesn't blow its horn and we got used to it after a couple of days. Great place to stay! Tips for other Campers:

The location was great, giving you access to Hood River, White Salmon and tons of local hikes including Dog Mountain (ouch!) Great breweries, easy access to shopping, and close enough to Portland if you wanted to venture into town.

Visit the Mugs Coffee shop in Bingen for yummy pastries and coffee, and Dickey's Farm store for fresh berry pie!

Smaller and somewhat compact park. I was initially concerned it was going to be difficult to maneuver my 38ft fifth wheel, but had no problems at all. Like others have mentioned, the train passes thru frequently and the park is also right off of highway 14 = noisey, however my wife and I both slept great. We have two big dogs (Lab and golden) and found the pet area to be big and super nice. Lots of breweries and wineries in the area and some fantastic scenery. Had a great visit to the area! We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

If you take the Hood River Bridge from the Oregon side, be prepared for the narrowest bridge you've ever seen, Lots of traffic, we had to hug the Yellow line and our mirror was mere inches from the rail when passing oncoming cars, thank goodness we did not met one of the many trucks that cross here, it's a real white knuckle experience. It is much better to approach from the Dalles or Cascade locks . The train and highway at the park are noisy but were expected. It looks like there are some permanent residents but they are very neat and tidy. The WI fi and AT&T worked great. The staff very kind and friendly. As others have stated there is noise from the trains that run next to the park but this is true for most parks along I90. The noise did not bother us and we were in a site next to the tracks. The owners are friendly and the park is very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

Frm Oregon, cross at The Dalles (hwy 197), go w on 14. Other bridges narrow, and there is a low clearance w of the prk. W on 14 from 197, RV GPS wanted us to go around because of a low clearance tunnel. Big rigs go through. Tunnel is marked with the at-the-edge height. Our 5th wheel is only 12'8". Don't bother calling the Wash DOT 'cause they told me the tunnel was 12'. I THINK it was 12' 10" at the very edge, so taller in the middle, but not sure.

Would be a 10 except for the trains going by at all hours. We like trains, but a few too many. Cable is great and park is very clean. Right at the end of the Hood River Bridge. If you are towing, you might not want to travel on Highway 14 due to low tunnels. Will definitely come back again. This is our second visit. Tips for other Campers:

When towing, not a good idea to take the Hood River Bridge when it is windy. Very narrow. Go to Bridge of the Gods and come back. All are toll bridges. In Vancouver, try the Grant House for a meal at Fort Vancouver. Great food and wonderful atmosphere on Officer's Row. The brunch cruise on the Paddlewheel Steamer out of Cascade Locks is very nice and gives a great view of the river.
