Older park and nicely kept. Friendly staff with fast check in. Power problem on site 38 and surge protector would not allow power to coach. Reported problem and staff tried changing breaker and plug. Didn't know if they could move me as they continued to work. Finally after a couple of hours moved me to site 10 and no more issues. Apparently site 38 has known power problems to staff. For big rigs turning onto Fox Fire Rd westbound requires entering eastbound lane due to sharp right hand turn. We were here overnight and despite the issues would stay here again. Park grounds are maintained well and staff is super friendly. Pull thru site was long enough to stay hooked up with towed. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

Safe, clean park. Follow the directions on the website as the turn into the park would be a bit difficult with a larger rig if you are coming from the wrong way. Decent wifi, small beach at the pond. Road noise could be an issue if you like to sleep with windows open. At&t service good. Some of the smaller sites are pretty close together. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice KOA with very friendly and helpful people. Many amenities including swimming beach and fishing. Pull through and back in level gravel/grass full hook up 30/50 amp sites. As usual in a KOA sites are crammed in together but okay. Store on site with good WIFI and cell service. If coming from East there is an impossible right turn into the campground if you are in a big rig. Better to go 5 miles past on Interstate and come back. Would stay here again. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

One night stay while traveling. We tow a 33 ft travel trailer with a pickup, and did not want to unhitch for the night, which we stated when making the reservation. We were led to our site and it was perfect. Pretty level and we had room to spare! Though some spaces look a bit tight, they were not packed in like sardines! Pretty park, with some wonderful amenities for kids at their beach area an in the pond, (dock, floating trampoline, some fun stuff). Great staff. I would stay here again. If we were traveling with kids, I would make the stay longer to enjoy everything they offer! We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great overnight stay. Long pullthru site was level with grass and gravel. It did get muddy from the rain but that's to be expected. We had a nice wide site due to a tree next to us. Some sites look tighter than others. Utilities are in the middle. Nice small dog park and lots of space to walk the dogs. Decent free wifi and cable. Office staff were so helpful. It's an older KOA with plenty of long term and permanent residents but the park looked like it was managed well. We'd stop here again. Please note: Entrance from Hwy 60 into Fox Fire Rd is a right 180 turn (very sharp right turn) so give yourself plenty of room. Great place to stay overnight. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is at a very convenient point along our route back from North Carolina and we have stopped several times. The staff was very friendly, check-in was smooth and we were lead quickly to our site (as is the KOA way). Wish we good say lots of good stuff about the campground beyond that but we cannot. In our experience, the campground is older and is beginning to show signs of wear. Most, if not all sites are gravel/dirt. As a consequence when it rains, sites and roads are muddy. Some of the occupants appear longer term and the sites are a bit cluttered. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

Just stopped for one night while passing through WV on I64. Was OK for one night but very tight for our 45' Motorhome. I think it would be very difficult departing the space we were in if the folks on either side had not left firts. Could almost touch the slide out in the spot next to me from the bedroom. Would probably come here again for a one nighter..... We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

Overnight sites are very tight. Less then 21' in some cases.

Must share electric post with the neighbor, a 30 amp and a 50 amp out of the same post!? One site pulls in to the south, your neighbor to the north so your picnic tables are inline. No fire ring but the spot where the prior fire was is 7 feet from the trailer. Seasonal campers lots are twice the width. They took the site and split them in two. The tightness of this campground is why the low rating.

Campground sits along the Interstate so you'll have a lot of road noise. Be prepared to be friendly with your neighbor, because they'll be right on top of you. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We spend three nights here. Staff are very efficient and friendly. Sites are spacious and clean. This was our second stay here and we would definitely stay again if in the area or passing thru. Did not use the showers or restroom so I can not comment on them, but the laundry room was very clean and machines worked well. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

We got to this park fairly late on a Saturday night when a Halloween party was going on. They were extremely full and all roads were crowded going in. We were escorted to our site which was not at all level. They were squeezing RVs in to every available area, even those that were not actually sites. We actually had to back out of our site the next morning because the roads were so narrow that we were not able to pull out and make the turn on to the road. Staff was helpful but we would be sure not to stay here again when any sort of function was going on. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped in a 35 foot fifth wheel on pull through site 9. Site is gravel, nearly level, with room for truck, very close to neighbors, & has a grass patch. No shade. Interior roads are paved. Campground is adjacent to I 64 & noisy; however, sites close to office are away from interstate & quieter. No cable at site 9, but there are about 20 OTA channels. WiFi & AT&T cell coverage both good. Bath & laundry houses clean. Pond with beach for swimming, but water color is very unappealing. Basketball hoop & playground. Staff is friendly & directs camper to site. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We were led in by someone who I believe may have been the owner and was very friendly and helpful. Out spot seemed adequate and level however we were only here for a few minutes. We realized immediately that we had problems with our rig and so went back to the office and told them we had to leave. Without us even asking, they said they would give us a refund. Most places would never do this for you. Their kindness was amazing. I look forward to going back to this place in the future. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

We stopped here for 2 days, due to friends work camping here. The staff was courteous and prompt. The restrooms were small but very clean. It rained a lot during our stay so there was a lot of standing water around our site. Entrance to this park should be made from the west, since a tight 180° turn is required when coming from the east. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.

This was a great choice for our overnight stay but the site was SO small I would not want to stay for longer. We were in site no 24, a pull through which was easy to get in and out of. It was long enough for us to remain hooked up to the truck. When we put our slides out there was 1 inch between ours and our neighbors (we have 2 super slides on the back side). There was no one in front of us and that was nice. There was a picnic table but no fire ring. There were bigger sites, the ones on the front row seemed bigger. The check in was simple, the customer service was good, friendly. Restrooms and showers clean and very pretty. The kids had fun in the little lake with inflatables and the playground was nice too. Everyone, even adults are required to wear life jackets in the lake, which is fine, but the ones supplied need to be replaced. Most are waterlogged and the foam inside was broken down. I would recommend bringing your own. We used the dogpark, which was like most koa dog parks. It's nice to have an off leash area for our dog to run after a long trip. Everything was well maintained from landscaping to doggie poop bag dispensers. Overall a good campground. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Very family oriented park. Lots of kid activities. Big pond for swimming, specific children's staff members for children activities. Movie night, etc. The only downside, extremely tight turn to enter the RV park. Take note of the park's directions to alleviate the entry turn! We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Motorhome.
