Great park no problems at all. This is mainly for ATV enthusiasts. It is very remote location in West Virgina mountains located right on the Hatfield- McCoy trail system (Indian Ridge Trail). Make sure to follow directions to campground from their website or you will end of on roads you do not want to be on. They say they have a restaurant 2 miles down the road but it was never open while we were there so bring your own food because nearest Wal-Mart is 20 miles away. We camped at Ashland Resort in a Motorhome.
Great ATV park direct access to Hatfield McCoy trails. If you aren't into ATV's or dirtbikes best to avoid this campground. Vehicles on the move till wee hours. We camped at Ashland Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $30.00
This is a fantastic park if you are riding ATV's. I stay here about 6-8 times per year. If you are not in the area for ATV riding there isn't much to do here and probably not worth the drive in. The road coming in is very narrow and difficult to navigate but doable. Bath house is always very clean and well taken care of. We camped at Ashland Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $36.00
This is a very nice park, which is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by trees. All hookups are 1st class and it is easy to navigate a big rig around the park. It is a very noisy park with ATVs running all over the place and thorough empty sites. There is no speed limit in the park and no Yellow-Shirts were present to supervise kids on bikes. The road to the park is very narrow with many places where two rigs would not be able to pass. If you are not there to ATV the great trails that surround the park, you may not enjoy the stay. We camped at Ashland Resort in a Motorhome.

Quite a distance from the highway. Road winds up the mountain and sites are flat with good access to connections. We had an ATV and had fun driving in the area. if you do not have an ATV - a different campground might be a better choice. The vehicles are a bit noisy and are driven on the campground roads most times of the day. We camped at Ashland Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
