Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $23.00
We stayed for 3 weeks to explore the wealth of activities in the surrounding area. This campground is on a backwater area of the Mississippi so you naturally get quite a few bugs and two train tracks that follow the river. All facilities were clean and worked as expected. The owners are very helpful and friendly with most any problem or request. Some low branches hindered our class A but overall the grounds are big rig friendly. Many of the sites are not level, so ride through and park and choose your spot before checking in. Sites are large and shaded but we had no problem positioning for a good satellite signal. Weekends are busy with local campers. Numerous seasonal trailers and homes, which are not a problem for the campground. Though there are no full hookup sites, a pump truck is available for $10. The camp store has a good selection including firewood and propane. Not easy to find but a bargain for the price. About 10 from local shopping. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at River of Lakes Riverfront Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.
Excellent! This has become our favorite place to stay, due to all it offers. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean and pleasant. Our favorite part is that we can pull our pontoon boat up to our campsite and leave it in the water all weekend while we camp. They have a nice shop for supplies and fishing gear, including gas and oil for the boat or the car. Also, it is so quiet and relaxing, even on the busy weekends. The sites are large enough that you don't hear everything or everyone around you. We camped at River of Lakes Riverfront Campground and Marina in a Travel Trailer.
Great place to pull the boat up and camp and that go out fishing or pleasure boating for the day. 40 of the sites are located directly on the Mississippi river with relatively easy access to the main channel. Can get a small to medium sized boat in and out of this area. The camping is nice with mostly shaded sites. The one main downfall of the campground is the twin railroad tracks that run right next to the campground area, but if you want to be on the Mississippi than this just goes with the territory. The sites are very large and can easily accommodate 2 families on one site. Overall would recommend this campground. We camped at River of Lakes Riverfront Campground and Marina in a Tent.
